Thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed it!
Sorry I took so long to respond to your comment, what with the holidays and my new job.
To answer your last question, yes; I will absolutely be continuing the storyline, and I have a definite explanation/resolution to imprinting in mind. I've actually already started the storyboards for the next storyline Leah: The search, and I figure I'll probably have the first installation up by the new year.

Just read through these.
Trust me, I know what's it's like to work on something over a long period of time and be disappointed at getting little feedback, so I'll give you some.
I liked it. Your art is very good, although your proportions are off at times (of course, I'm no one to judge since I can't draw at all). Needless to say, you do much more with Meyer's characters and setting than she could, and you actually make them relatable and more like actual people than the caricatures she wrote. I liked the Wolf's Rain reference too. Your addition of new types of supernatural creatures is already more interesting than any of Meyer's bad science and mythology fail. You're actually taking her ideas and making them good, I'm impressed. I also like how you deconstruct her idealistic (and often sick) idea of romance and write about it more realistically, yet it can still manage to be sweet and heartwarming. Your humor is pretty good too. I'll eagerly look forward to the continuation.

Thanks! Yeah I've been working on doing my comics on a larger canvas so I noticed it got kinda wonky. I'm really glad you liked them though, since I felt like Leah had more potential than any other character in the Twilight series, and I'll be happy to start them back up again (although I'll probably do it verrrry slooowllyy, lol you've been warned). Thanks again for the feedback; it's nice to know I've sent something out into the world that people have enjoyed.

I understand, and I wish you the best with your job. SWEET! I will be looking forward to it then! I can't wait to see what explanation you have for imprinting. Though I think what I'm really anticipating is when Leah will have to present that explanation to everyone else and that they'll have to realize just how much they've been suckered and screwed up. I did enjoy how Sam got a beatdown, though I was hoping for more signs of repentance. Still, it was worth it to see Leah and Jordan being kickass and finally getting together. My new OTP. ;D

Wow, that was a quick reveal. Granted, it was just confirming what we all already knew, but at least it's official now. Hurray!

How do you mean, quick reveal? Are you referring to Leah's intent to undo imprinting? Cuz that's the whole build-up of Leah: Returning.
By the by, if you've read the stories in order you'll know that the black haired girl is named Blaise Harman (...or did I ever mention her name? Oops) who is a Circle Midnight witch from the series Nightworld by L.J. Smith. The Soul mate principal, the character Blaise (as well as Ash Redfern who appears in Leah: Vampire Slayer) and Circles Daybreak, Midnight and Twilight, are all directly from Nightworld. Due to the initial similarities between imprinting and Soul-mate...ing, Blaise confuses the two, but upon hearing of the pedophile angle it's clear that's not the direction this story is taking.
...lol...end/exposition

^Oh no, it was already pretty clear that Leah wanted to find a way to undo imprinting. I meant how you immediately started the next comic with Leah confronting Blaise about imprinting and getting a solid answer, instead of being a cruel, evil author and making us wait through several comics of drama and angst before we can get an actual answer like SOME people tend to do...

Oh ok. I didn't mean to sound snarky, I just wasn't sure what you meant.
And about diving right in; heck yeah, it's gonna take long enough to finish this storyline without melodramatic filler, lol.

Not at all! As long as any confusion is cleared up.
Yikes. Somehow, I am both worried and excited about that.

WOOHOO NEW COMIC POSTED IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! I celebrate my occasionally untardy artistry, because it doesn't happen often.
Exposition time: (read after viewing the comic plz)
If you don't recognize the name Blaise gives Leah then shame on you; google it. Yeah, that's right, I'm fanfic-ing my fav supernatural horror movie character and there's nothing you can do about it! Also; Thea is the name of Blaise's cousin, who has a soul mate fyi. The fight Blaise talks about is supposed to be finalized in the very very very very long awaited Strange Fate novel, aka the final book in L.J. Smith's Nightworld series (erm, I'm a fan...does it show?) and the witch blackout Blaise mentions for those who weren't born witches is my sneaky way of meshing Buffy the Vampire Slayer canon with Nightworld. In the Buffy comics (which I don't read but keep posted on) there is currently a magic blackout aka magic-no-worky. In the Nightworld series witches are born witches, some don't know their heritage, some do. In the Buffyverse witches learn to be witches. In my comic there are both.
More comics to come, and no worries CN; I'll toss in a bit of melodrama.

You put Poltergeist in this, too? Sweet! You've just got all kinds of series involved in this, and you've melded their continuities quite well!
Wait--what? I didn't mean it! D: Unless the melodrama is from the wolves and imprints getting a much-needed reality check. Then by all means, go for it.

Thanks for the compliment, Annoyed! Don't worry CN, this might just be more of a drama angle than a melodrama angle.
Btw I've noticed that Leah hugs a lot of people...I suppose this is to make up for my subconscious starvation of gentle affection which Meyer's travesties were totally devoid of.

Yaaayyyy! You updated!
Anyway, I had a thought. If the kind of curse that imprinting is takes a lot of energy and power, I'm thinking that maybe a fairy did it. I mean, the fae are very powerful and are rarely ever nice, especially when slighted. Maybe one of the first shapeshifters of Leah's tribe offended a fae and the fae decided to curse all of the Quileutes with imprinting and attached that to their shifters.
Whether it's true or not, it's still a nice explanation.

Well I have an explanation all set up, but it's not the fey. I can promise two things though 1, you're gonna see a few suspects and one of them might be fey, and 2, you're gonna love the explanation I have.
I'm so excited that you're excited! I will try my best to post the comics faster.

Awww. The one good thing about a character's self-doubt is when another character cheers them up, and you played it beautifully.
There are apparently way too many possibilities I know you can take to try guessing on any one of them at this point. I bet I will love it, though.
At this point, I can only see two reasons for imprinting. Either to get the weaker wolves to stop phasing by giving them incentive to grow old, or through an ancient method of binding the wolf to a human so the protectors wouldn't leave the area. I doubt either are the truth in this case, though.

Leah: The Search Part 4 is now viewable on my livejournal, please enjoy and comment.
Btw after uploading I noticed Carol Anne has a slight bluish glow. I took a color swatch from an actual picture of Heather O'Rourke so I didn't realize the lighting was a little tinted until I uploaded the pic. That's okay though since I wanted her first appearance to be slightly ethereal anyways. She'll look better next segment. -laterz-

Hey guys, I know it's been a while and I wanted to just post and apologize for taking so long; honestly I haven't been working on Leah comics very much at all. Mostly it's because I'm lazy, the other reason is that I've been working and watching the Hunger Games a lot, lol. I even dressed up for the midnight showing and made the papers, how cool is that? Sorry, I'm getting off subject; Ok so I will do my best to post the next segment by Monday, and any comments or critique are welcome; thanks for being patient.

Okay! Update my dears and darlings!
Not too much going on in this segment; as per usual it's a bit of exposition, but I also added an unexpected guest and the next comic will involve more investigation. Enjoy.

HOMG, BREE! She's alive! Well, not exactly alive, but still around. And I loved her comment on the Cullens doing shit to help her. THANK you for adding her in. I honestly didn't care much about her, but she still deserved better than to be killed for no good reason and left to die by the Cullens.
Oooooo...glowy ball effect. What secrets will it reveal to us?

Haha, you're welcome!
Hopefully I'll be able to get into why Bree can't rest (won't be for a while with how long it takes me to draw these comics, but we'll see), and I will try to work faster. I really felt that the stories Meyer never resolved held so much more potential than what she did. After reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner I just got even more angry, not necessarily because Bree died, but because it was implied that when she realized Edward could read her thoughts he would DO SOMETHING about everything to make it right. I guess Meyer thought we were supposed to be all happy that Edward knew about the Volturi letting Victoria get away with trying to kill the Cullens, but that's like telling someone who your killer was right before you die and then they continue to do nothing. Grr...but yeah, I like Bree and if Meyer won't give her justice, then I will.

Update! Uhh pretty much more exposition, but we're headed in the right direction!
Enjoy all, and a shiny nickel to anyone who recognizes the allusion of crossover fic I added in. Hint: So far I've covered Twilight, Nightworld, Blood+, Buffy TVS, Wolf's Rain and Poltergeist.
