John Green is my new favorite author. So far I've read Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, and Paper Towns, and I'm dying to get Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Your thoughts? Your favorite book of his? And did anyone else notice how his MC's are always almost exactly the same?

Yes, he's one of my favorites! I liked Looking for Alaska the best and Papertowns was good too. I want to read Will Grayson,Will Grayson but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I didn't like An Abudance of Katherines all that much...it bored me for some reason.
Yeah, I noticed that all his MC's are nerdy and...basically the same as the last. Which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing. I'm hoping that whatever book he writes next will be a little a different...

^I find it kind of humorous, but not necessarily bad. I mean, his nerd guys are at least good characters (a good character? I'm not sure).
Yeah, a lot of people don't like Katherines for some reasons. I thought it was fine myself; it was kind of a nice break from the darker Alaska and Paper Towns.

Yeah, I'm glad that his characters are well written, but I kinda hope he tries for a new type of MC. It would still be awesome I'm sure.
I don't know about Kathrines really. I guess I just liked the seriousness of the other two books.
I wonder what his next book will be about? Everybody is saying that its a big secret but I really want to know something about it. XD I'm too much of a fan.

I don't know. I know he wrote part of Let it Snow, but I haven't gotten that because I'm not big on the other authors and it just doesn't seem that great. I'm still trying to get to a book store for Will Grayson, Will Grayson, because I want to read it soooo badly.

Hmm I haven't heard of Let it Snow...I'll have to check that out.
Also I can't find Will Grayson, Will Grayson ANYWHERE. The stores here usually carry only one of his books and thats it.
I really wish to read it. He co-authored it with another favorite writer so...yeah I need to read it. I'm probably going to have to order it. Oh yeah which is your favorite book by him?

I love John Green<3.
I have Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, and Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Paper Towns I've already read. Katherines, I kind of put it on hold, and I haven't read the other two yet.
By the way, I got my WG, WG book at Barnes&Noble, it should be listed on their website, so you can have it mailed to you, unless of course, theres a store near you, where they should have it on the shelves, hope that helps.

A lot of people don't like Katherines very much, I guess because its tone is lighter than John Green's other books, but I thought it was cute. My favorite would have to be Looking for Alaska, though.

Yeah I'll try Barnes&Nobles. I haven't tried there yet.
Also the next book he writes will be from a girl's POV. XD Sounds like it's going to be good.

^Will it just be the girl version of the typical John Green MC or someone different? XD That's cool, though, I've been wondering how he'd do with a girl.

^^ Tell me if it's a good read!
All I know is that it will be from a girl's POV he hasn't said much about what she's like.

I finished it. And, oh my gosh, it's HILARIOUS. And also really good. And it's got Schrodinger's Cat, which kind of makes it automatically awesome. The MC's weren't exactly like the typical John Green MC (one was sort of similar and one was really different), but that's probably largely because he co-authored it. Anyway, I loved it.

I love John Green's books! I've met him twice because he lives in the same state as me and he does a lot of readings around here! He told me I was awesome because when I did speech team I read the part of Paper Towns with the beer can sword! He's also signed all my books twice and never reads from Looking for Alaska because he says it's too emotional for him.
My favorite book of his is Paper Towns. It never fails to make me lol and my friends and I always play That Man in a Jigilo everywhere.

The Fault in Our Stars trailer. I cried just from the trailer. I really like this book and I'm probably going to be a crying mess in this movie.
