I like writing fanfictions mostly, to laugh at canon shippings. Example, Anzu and Seto. And Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter.

I have three projects going...sort of. My problem is that even though I have read some writing books, books that even have exercises, I can't seem to work the motivation to try writing or to do the exercises. Either that or some of them require having read books to get examples and when I think about it, my reading material is actually quite limited. Most of it has been novelizations or books based on TV shows as of late.
Anyway, my major writing project, that I have been working on for a few years on and off (mostly idea stage) is "Family of Sin", which is a story based on a curse of the Seven Deadly Sins.
The other two are fan fiction. One is for Wizards of Waverly Place (I liked that show) that I titled Lunar Phases. I actually wanted to work on it during the summer but I never got to it.
The third is actually an anti-Twilight fan fic that I titled "Ghost in the Machine" involving Bella and an alternate time line. I've never actually read the Twilight books (and don't want to for several reasons) so I think I need a co-author to do that one.
Anybody want to take me up on the idea?

That does sound rather interesting. Do post it up when you finish. Actually, I've an anti twilight idea somewhere in the works as well.
Sweet genius, I've been reading through the thread and they all sound just so...well, I want to see the end results. :<
Especially interested in Blonde Guardian's. You've a knack for writing hooklinesinker summaries.
Yep. I rarely see lamia used, and I think I can get away with making stuff up more easily if I can't find that much research for them. So far my only research lead is Wikipedia, and it makes me think that most people don't know what it is. Especially since most people on my hall think I'm making stuff up. Wow. You're certainly busy. I've only seen it used once. And that was more of a sort of referred to, off the side character. I'd be intrigued in what you're going to do with it. I guess I've delved in mythology and fantasy too much then? xP
I'm not truly all that busy with the projects cause I don't do them consistently. For shame.

The Best Government Money Can Buy: Lobbyists and Why They Must be Stopped -Day and night there are people in Washington D.C. who spend their time scheming and attempting to find ways to take taxpayer monies and put them into their own pockets: they are lobbyists. The Catholic Church, Christian Right, the Neoconservative machine, big businesses, environmentalists, teachers unions, Socialists, Keynesians, the AARP, NPR. What do all these groups have in common? One thing: they desire to make the US Government an instrument of social reform rather than an institution which makes laws and enforces them, and which stays out of everything else. We are always being told that we need more faith-based programs, more diversity, more programs for this group and that group. Some of these things may be good, and may even be noble sometimes.
But are they essential functions of a constitutionally limited government? Are the tax payer dollars really going to those needy people the money is supposed to be for? Or are funds merely being deceitfully transfered from one hand to another under the table? Some proponents of various lobbying groups argue that government ought to reward certain groups with grants. But perhaps the question we ought to be asking is whether government has any business redistributing tax payer dollars on anyone's particular vision of of the world. I argue for separation of government from anything not exclusively related to governmental functions of governing (except in cases demanding well-thought out regulation,) and no government efforts to reward or punish various lobbies with grants or grant cuts. In a Republic, such as ours, social and fiscal issues ought to be decided in elections at the polls, not settled beforehand by interested parties behind closed dooors.
Lobbies threaten the integrity of our politicians, in addition to the natural temptations they face to abuse their power. They circumvent the private sector's market style of competition of ideas which would promote efficiency and progress. They also divide us and increase our dependence on government whilst government attempts to supercede the private sector and take away individual responsibility and choice. What we need is not a return to God, and not a Leftwing 'proggressive' step 'forward,' but a return to the Founding principles of limited government, which alone can secure liberty and promote the human happiness seldom enjoyed in any civilization.

SPQR Book 1: Republic Reborn
People often speculate on what would have happened had the Roman Empire survived. Sadly, few have asked a more important question. What if the Roman Empire had never begun??? What if the Republic would have continued? What if Cicero and Cato had not died? This is the sort of scenario to which I am dedicated in this work. We begin in 42 BC, in the city of Rome, just after the Battle of Philipi, in which historically, Octavian (Augustus) and Antonius triumphed over Brutus the Younger and Cassius, and destroyed the Republican forces. But in this "what if" twist, it is Brutus and Cassius who triumph over Octavian, and the Republic is not swallowed up by the Empire.
Having decisively defeated the forces of Octavian at Philipi, Brutus and Cassius make a failed attempt to capture the young nephew of Julius Caesar. Octavian flees north to Athens, where he tries to persuade the Athenians that a rebellion against the Republic is crucial for Athen's economic surivival, and promises lesser restrictions on trade agreements if they support him in his bid to take Rome. All the while, his resentment of Brutus for the death of his uncle plagues him, and he soon finds allies among the outlawed pirates and thieves of the Mediterarian Sea. Using his defeat as an opportunity to the learn from his mistakes, the brilliant Octavian studies naval warfare and begins to consider launching a marine assault on the Italian coast.
Meanwhile, Antony withdraws his five remaining legions, and makes his way to Egypt, where he continues a previous love affair with Cleopatra and considers his next move. Knowing full well that the balance of power has temporarily shifted back to the Senate and away from Octavian, he considers returning to Rome without his legions to ask forgiveness for rebellion. But Cleopatra persuades him not to make any sudden decisions, and reminds him of the power Egypt has to withhold grain from the war-torn Republic, a factor gving both Antony and herself a stake in the power struggle.
Back in Rome, news of the Republican victory spreads quickly, and Senator Marcus Tullius Cicero makes plans for his re-election campaign, thankful for an opportunity for respite in light of the recent tumults and a failed attempt on his life. But even as he basks in his personal popularity, he realizes that the unpopulariy of the Senate as whole demands reforms if the Republic is be to saved from yet another tyrant in the future. Ever wary of the failed redstribution attempts of the Gracchus brothers, and cautious of the tendencies of the pleabian and slave classes to revolt, the statesman begins to grapple with the complexities of instituting reform without inciting civil unrest or appearing too weak. Among the first of his priorities is gaining support in the Senate for reducing of the power of imperium currently held by one of the consuls and giving it back to the Senate. This, however, proves to be practically and politically difficult, since it is widely thought necessary for the consul to have imperium in order to move troops and supplies quickly. In addition to his political troubles, Cicero is grieved to hear that his daughter has been struck with a peculiar illness for which no apothocaries or physicians seem to have a cure.
In Corinth, Brutus and Cassius rest, planning to renew their search for Octavian. Cassius is eager to pursue Antony in Egypt and see him brought back to Rome to stand trial for treason, but Brutus reminds him that they have been given no such orders by the Senate, and any action on their part would be rash, since Antony would be in a position to give or withhold grain from the famine-struck Romans.
Hearing of the victory of the Republic over the Imperial forces, a physically frail but mentally strong Cato the Younger emerges from exile to return to Rome, having been away from the city for six years since losing a battle against Caesar. Initially overjoyed to see his old friend alive, Cicero quickly realizes that he has very different ideas as how to save the Republic than his old mentor. Soon, their differences of opinion cause Cato to be convinced that he must run for the Senate once again, and form alliances against his protege, who is believes has compromised key traditional principles for the sake of efficiency.
In the sleepy province of Gaul, a beautiful and charasmatic barbarian queen Yanika sees an opportunity to break free of Roman rule and mounts a surprise attack against the legions in Gaul, taking several forts and capturing a standard, to the shame of the Roman people. At the same, a Chinese scout, Lu Xi, makes his way to Latium from the Orient. His officical mission: to access the trade suitability of Rome with China. His unofficial mission: to observe Roman troop movements in the easternmost parts of the Republic and report his findings to the Emperor.
As the forces of men and empires converge, the Republic continues to stuggle on. And as a battle for the very character of Rome wages, no one is safe from the impending civil wars and clashes of will that will change the course of the destiny of the great civilization of Rome.

The Victim -About a guy who has the power to cheat death and come back after being murdered making himself bait for serial killers to help in cases against them.
Return to the Yellow Slide-A very personal story about a boy graduating from his senior year in highschool and taking his sick old dog too a park he used to take her to when they were younger. While there, he and his dog end up time traveling back when he was just about to graduate into middle school, where he has to learn to let go and move on in life without loosing what was important to him in his childhood.
Lost Children-My Magnum Opus, which, I would be typing for over ten hours on what it's about, it's that long, and that complex. I've estimated it to be over 2,000 pages. Possibly in the tends of thousands, which is why I'm trying to make it into a comic, it's too long for a book.

^"The Victim" sounds very interesting, however, it seems like it will have a somewhat repeated-plotline (I have this problem somewhat with "The Engraved" :/.)
"Return to the Yellow Slide" -- that sounds sad, the sick dog doesn't die, does she? PLZ GOD NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! /whining. *hates it when animals die in some form of media (movies, tv shows, books, etc.)
"Lost Children" -- What about a condensed summary? I'm very curious to know what it's about now XD.

Actually, most of "The Victim" is about the conflict between Drew and John Rivers, the man who originally murdered him and his little sister.
It is, it's a very personal story to me. No, not within the actual context of the story. More of in the outro it's "Years after she died, I still remembered. I remembered the yellow slide."
Lost Children is... complex. To start, there's so much backstory to it, so much mythos, it's almost like a high fantasy even though it takes place in our future. It's kinda hard to say without it sounding incredibly wierd, but the explanations are beyond simple complexities. Basically, females all around the world start giving birth via virgin birth to metahuman beings that are called Transhumans, Joseph Arol comes to power and then begins the genocide, wars, holocaust, mass terrorism, increase in crimes, dictatorship all around the world. Basically, the world's screwed. The story follows Tyler Craft, an eleven year old Transhuman who travels with his older brother(Mana) and a group Mana founded, and their conflicts against another Transhuman group that plans on destroying the world and recreating it as a world where Transhumans can live in peace and not live in the mistakes of their ancestors in peace. It's somewhat preachy, but at the same time, I try to make it come off as Mana teaching Tyler about life to help him through all of it. It's incredibly dark, but, at the same time, I kinda hope by the end of the story, some people will have a better outlook on life.

I have a series, informally titled "Fiddling with Faerie Tales" and as you can guess I'm pretty much re-writing said things.
Werewolf story in the works. To be honest, it's not all that serious and I've not thought about it for awhile. Sappy sappy sappy, new tree could now come into existence.
And then there's THE COUNCIL and really that is kind of vague too. Oh but it's vampires. But it's different. And the infrastructuring is all wonky.
I suck at explaining. =/

Hidden Conspiracy - (work-in-progress) It's basically a rewrite of DMC4. However, Nero and Gloria are assigned to go after this man named Anthony, who was one of their trustworthy knights but, for some reason, decided to kill Sanctus. Gloria and Nero agree to split up and search for clues as to who Anthony is and what his purpose was.
Untitled DMC fanfic - It begins after DMC2. Nero's arm has started spreading more and he is starting to remember things that he never experienced. He heads to Devil May Cry for some answers, he meets Lucia and learns that Dante hasn't returned from hell. (Dante also has his own problems. c: He's in hell, triggering and detriggering, slowly losing control over himself.) People tell me to finish it. D: I know this post was last month, but whoa. Are you thirteen year old me? O.o
Anyways, my projects~
Short stories-
Fingers Crossed, World War III type story thing. love my main and her "love interest". They're both just so sarcastic and bitchy.
The Freshmen, based off the song "The Freshmen" by Verve Pipe with my little twist on it. Teen angst, because we soooo need more of it. xD
Seven Deadly Sins, a bisexual man demonstrating all of the SDS.
Novels-
Collapse, I don't have a definite plot yet, but it will be epic.
Screenplays-
Untitled, a coming of age type thing. Really, really, REALLY pro-LGBT. Mostly romance.
That's it, I think.

I'm writing a collection of Christian stories with my abused main character. It's the only thing I'm going to write that is sort of religion-y but only due to PEER PRESSURE. Yes, I cave easy. The stories are going to be based on the 7 deadly sins and the 7 heavenly virtues. It has a lot of child abuse and darkness in it.

Okay, I have thirteen projects with half of them finished.
Here they are:
Completed
Letting Go-It's about this guy that refuses to date, and the girl that's interested in him finds out why.
Your Biggest Fan-Let's just say it involves an obsessed fan.
Gently Down the Stream-This was my first short story. It's about this guy that goes to an amusement park. Drama ensues.
The Invasion-My second short story. Let's just say I was extremely pissed off when I wrote it.
You Ever Watch A Car Wreck-My first novel. I finally completed it, and it is my baby. It's going to go through several drafts before I bring it to a publisher, though. I only put it under completed because the main storyline is done.
Rain-My Leah fanfic. I'm publishing it to Fanfiction.net under the name RobertLobLaw. It involves the Werewolf thing that Meyer mentioned in Breaking Dawn.
In Progress-
Untitled Harley Quinn story-It's pretty much Harley Quinn's origin story. It's set in an alternate universe, with alternate character interpretations. Progress: Maybe around halfway/a third of the way there.
Cannibal-My second novel attempt. It's about vampires. I know that's cliche around this time, but I don't intend to publish it for a very long time. I'll think about it once the vampire fad dies down. Progress: I just started. It won't be done for awhile.
The Fame-It's a parody of pop music and its stars. Part one is technically complete, but I won't consider it done until part two is finished. Progress: Halfway there, but that's not saying much. It's going to be a long story.
Love Is A Battlefield-It's about this guy who breaks up with his girlfriend. Let's just say she doesn't take it very well. Progress: Almost there, but not quite.
This Is It-I honestly don't know if I'm going to finish this one. This is probably the least worrisome of the lot. It's about this girl who needs guidance, and she's getting some by someone who knows her very well. Also, this has nothing to do with Michael Jackson.
Untitled Romance Story-Yeah, I'm doing a gay romance story. It stars this guy named Robbie Tanner, who has the worst luck in the world. Craziness ensues. Progress: Just started.
Untitled Band Story-I based this off my brother's and mine Rock Band characters. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this one. Progress: Don't know if if I'll ever get it off the ground.

I have a simple question for this, is it about vampires eating other vampires, or is it about vampires eating humans? Because cannibal's definition can mean eating human flesh (I guess in this case it would be drinking their blood), or a species eating the same species (If you already knew that, just ignore me XD), honestly, I find the latter to be a bit more fresh and interesting (It's kind of written in Blue Bloods, and they then get called "Silver Bloods" and can't go back >.>...) especially if you are trying to avoid most of the cliches >.>... Or you could do something totally different, like vampires who only eat humans who happen to be human flesh eaters.
Okay. I'll shut up now /shot.

One project I've had floating around in my head for a while.
The premise is a town set 20 minutes into the future, in a world where medicine has been perfected to the point where people no longer age, and no longer die. The world's population has managed to reach a point of stasis where the population never changes, there is no war, killing, and the combined world governments keep complete peace by regulating the hell out of everything (and possibly putting a mind altering drug in the medicine that has been allowing people to stop aging)
The main story starts up when a doctor in a town of 500 people commits suicide out of the blue one day marking the first suicide anyone had seen in hundreds of years. This starts a chain of events that eventually sparks an uprising, boycotting of the miracle drugs, sparks questions on religion, the worth of life, and revolves entirely around the question of whether life is worth living if death doesn't exist.
Thinking of calling it 499. Work in progress, but I really want to make something out of this idea.

A friend and I are currently working on a project, a comedy/horror story about a human boy adopted by a ghost and a zombie, there's a werewolf sister and wizard uncle and all sorts of crazy things, then it becomes an emotional drama where he meets his real human family and figures out he's human etc. It's started out as a book (for a rough-guide) now we're working on the screen-play and eventually we hope to get some equipment and people together and actually make a proper movie. Excitingly, we just cast the wizard, it's all coming together
