Here's a couple.
Sorry for the massive size of the photos.

I like the top one, you captured the dark color of the bottle and the shadows very well, but the teacup seems a bit off to me. From what I can see, you need to add more shadow to make it look more 3-D. Other than that, they look good.

Is that cross-hatching I detect?
>.> <.<
...What? Someone had to say it!
*coughs* Anyway, I think they both look good, but I'm not the one ot go to for art advice because I can't draw at all.

I refuse to believe that bottle had just one big fat reflection bouncing off of it, look carefully at the glass you can see hundreds of tiny reflections. And if you can't, and there really is only one big fat reflection then, baby, I hate to say but you're just going for the easy option. Do more glass studies! I would love to see them.

I can't do any glass studies just now - nearly everything in CHCH is closed and I'd not taken up art this year. This was just a bit of fun.

CHCH=Christchurch, NZ. www.stuff.co.nz
Again, this was only a bit of fun, and I have no big intentions of working with art. No need to be arrogant.

I'm not being arrogant, you posted this in the artists venue - in fact you've created more than one thread here. This tells me that you seem to be quite interested in art and perhaps could do with some encouragement.

FYI, don't use the excuse "It's just for fun." <.< It doesn't fly, and is not a refute to criticism.
Yes, it can be true that you're not serious at art, therefore aren't going to sit down and practice all the time, but that doesn't mean bull if you post it on the internet. Posting on internet = open to criticism (especially on this site). Which also means internet = don't use excuses, because they're not particularly valid here.
