Emilie Autumn. I just chanced upon her a few days back and she was so incredible that I just couldn't stop clicking more songs like I had some kind of anal clicking disease. I love her harmonies and her voice, but what really appealed to me was her lyrics. So simple and so powerful. For now, ' Across the Sky' , 'Thank God I'm Pretty ' and Shallot are my favourites, though that may soon change.
The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon and Penny's interactions are tragicomic genius. And the wit ! If it wasn't clearly an American comedy, I would have thought it was a BBC production. Nothing can beat British comedy. George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde are proof.

Oh God, I love Emilie Autumn. She inspired both my avatar and my username.

So I noticed .
Yeah, I'm really starting to like her too. The best way to describe her, I think, is 'powerfully fantastic' ( that sounded much better in my head). She communicates her ideas so powerfully, and the best part? She's not trying to change your mind. She's not parroting some bullshit ' love yourself' policy that makes the song just that much more fake. It's just real, no nonsense , emotionally charged music about her. And we empathise and respond to her in kind.

I do love artists such as Lady Gaga and P!nk, but even though their songs can be empowering, they don't completely understand what some people go through. Emilie has gone through a lot of shit herself, which makes it easier for me to relate to her.

I like P!ink and I'm a tad iffy about Lady GaGa ,but I'm really starting to like Emilie. She's just so natural, you know? She is as she is.

A friend of mine got me addicted to StumbleUpon. I'm on there pretty much every day and keep finding amazing things.
Also the singer Lenka. I'm thinking of doing her song 'The Show' for an audition that I really don't NEED to start thinking about right now since its gonna be sometime around April. I just love her songs and her voice!

Ponies. Yes, I too jumped on the bandwagon. I'm sorry. But I'm not a hardcore fan or anything... And GOOGLE CHROME. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT. LOVE. And last but not least, Comic book-style drawings. I have been wanting to learn how to draw like they do in Marvel & DC comics for a while now, but I just don't think I can. I like to draw & paint but mostly only high-contrast, portraits and abstractions.

Those Poor Bastards. After weeks of fighting it, it finally happened, gothic overtones be damned.

- Honky Tonk Hustlas. I think it was a combination of their awful name that conjurs up images of some abysmal Trace Adkins track or title of Colt Ford's latest turd of an album, reputation as a Hank III knockoff, and boring-ass cover art that kept me away from them for two long, but when I bought "Hallways of the Always", I was very pleasently surprised. So many good tracks on that album with almost zero filler, and they most certainly have a great sound of their own. I'll probably cave in and buy "South of Nashville" too, if I can budget it.
- My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Generally, I deeply, deeply regret checking things out to see what those kids and their internets are up to now, but I dunno... I've watched three episodes now, and although I can't call it objectively "good" or interesting, it's oddly hypnotizing. Will Applejack and that one pony with diamonds on her ass whose name escapes me ever resolve their differences? Will Twilight Sparkle's slumber party be ruined? Does this have some deep-seated implications about unresolved gender issues from my childhood? GODDAMNIT I MUST KNOW

DSBM. I guess beforehand I listened to a little bit of it, but only recently have I begun to actively listen to it. I really like Shining and Suicide Solution. :3

Playthroughs. I liked recording playthroughs before. Now I absolutely love it. I'm halfway through a Portal 2 playthrough, and I have a Left 4 Dead: Silent Hill playthrough...going to start an Amnesia and WALL*E PC game playthrough...and a bunch of onehsot playthroughs, like Narbacular Drop and The Cat & The Coup...
I CANT STOOOOOP. D8

Black Flag. After ages of simply not getting them, I listened to Damaged and it finally struck me. Still not my favorite punk album ever, but I enjoy it. I've also been getting myself some modern hardcore in the vein of Defeater, Have Heart, etcetc.

Dead or Alive, cause I got it for my new 3DS. I love you, 3DS... *hugs case* It really brings back memories of me playing Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast with my brother. It's a pretty good fighting game, plus it has nice, round, uh, gameplay features. Yeah.
