I don't think I can really explain it properly. Here's the link though: www.magicismight.co.uk/I've been following it on Facebook and the only way I can describe it is WIN.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Keep the HP fandom alive by promoting magic via sources like this.

I had fun with it while it lasted. It's actually really disappointing that they took the site down a few weeks after it was all over. I wanted more. Some people tried to force a 'spirtual successor' but it really sucks, because no one on there understands the concepts of 'conflict' or 'reason' and in one case 'forming coherent sentences.
Anyway. MIM was a blast while it lasted. I really wish some of the better role players stuck around for a bit longer. Like... say, Jeane or... umm... Jeane's the only one I can recall right now. Anyway, she liked it at first, but she disappeared after a few months, and we never heard from her again. It was too bad... I really liked her character, so I pulled a face heel turn and became a supporter of the MIM in her memory. I think that change was for the best.
I was known as 'Ike Dawn' for the majority of the time on the site. Let's just say I died in the end. You know, so we have at least one casualty.
My fondest memory of the site... probably being referred to as 'ignorant' by the majority of RP'ers... it was immensly satisfying. Especially because they couldn't make a good argument against me.
I can't even remember most of the articles now... it was so long ago. I had fun with it, though.

It was basically a huge role play set in the time period between the Rise of the Magic is Might administration to... a huge let down. Right before Voldemort died, they just stopped. It really annoyed some people.
Anyway, don't bother looking for it now. Unfortunatly, the site has been taken down for months, so it's impossible to even relive memories.
The role play was basically a newspaper. The Admins would post an article, and we, the people of Magical England, basically responded to the changes being made in the govenment. I was all for the Eradication of Mudbloods, and let me tell you, it was a blast. Tearing about arguments that I knew to be correct... I had a blast.
Of course, the site had it's problems. Namely, the players themselves. Lots of them were really obnoxious, and nearly all of them were against Pro-Pureblood propanganda. They were saying things like "Yeah. I bet Voldemort will be dead by the end of the Hogwarts School Year." I was just like... Urgh. Morons.
Not very many people stick out in my head, unfortunatly. I remember Louisa Parkinson... I could see why everyone was in love with her. She had a way with words, and supported the Anti-Mudblood regime without being a complete asswipe about it, which I thought was a brilliant touch. It got to the point that the MIM staff gave her a role in their continuity... I think she was acting as the guardians to the Cattermole's children.
There was... Umm... Grace O' Malley. I think she was one of the few people I genuinely liked by the end of the game. She figured out my name origins and everything!
Ummm... Athena Kensley is worth mentioning, even though I hate her guts. She basically tried to portray herself as 'intelligent' and pretty much failed at it by being an idiot. Yeah, I was kind of mean to her (Actually... I still am. There's a unofficial continuation, and she's one of the last few people involved) but she kind of deserved it. Kind of. I went a little overboard with her.
Ummm... I don't remember Gates or Sal that much during the game. I actually just got through discussing something with them. (I might get to meet Evanna Lynch this summer!!!) But I really like them both, especially their 'farewell' speechs where they both mentioned me as the 'leading antoganist in the game.' (To be fair, at that point, I was pretty much the only guy supporting the Ministry)
Oh yeah. I nearly forgot. Freaking. Draco. Malfoy. Okay, okay, this is where it gets weird. This guy was a real mystery. Basically, everytime a new article appeared, every, single, time, 'Draco' would post a message. That doesn't sound too weird, but the way he always did it was hiliarious. Every single time he posted he misspelled everything, and blamed Hermione for all the problems in the world. Every. Day. Personally, I'm shocked that someone kept that up for so long. Most of the hardcore members of the site (Me, Gates, Sal, Lyn) were really fond of him.
Oh. Lyn. Umm... Yeah. She's probably the only little kid on the entire site I had any respect for. And she created a another character, named 'Garland' that she said was inspired by me! I was really pleased by that, and after that, more of the 'Anti-Ministry' camp began writing 'evil' characters, but I was still the only one who stuck with using the 'evil' character as my main one.
Umm... I think that's it.
Ah, I really miss the game. I'd really like it to come back, but I know it won't. It was released to honor Deathly Hallows part 2, and now that there are not any more movies... I guess it wouldn't be the same.
