Ok, I'm considering joining or signing up for it and see if I'm accepted... But can anyone explain it to me? Is Pottermore like a Harry Potter RPG, where the plot of the game is the plot of the books? How does that work? I'm so confused...
You have to join when it opens to everyone in October (not sure when the exact day it is). People were able to get in early and test the Beta version of Pottermore during an exclusive sign up time in August.
What I gathered from is it's an interactive site, but not exactly RPG. You go through each book chapter, find and collect things, unlock extra story info not in the books. You also get sorted into a House, and then can duel other "students" (members) with spells, make potions and buy items from Diagon Alley. You can add people as your friends and give them gifts or duel them. It's really fun and cool and I'm enjoying it a lot.

I quite like it, and the next book is something to look forward to. I wish you could send owls to other people though or comment on their profile or something. A random gave me a Rowena Ravenclaw card, it was so nice! I wanted to say thankyou.
