Kyo from Fruits Basket. He's a huge whiny jerk who has nothing resembling a character arc and doesn't change at all, not to mention he never listens to what Tohru says and is just all over NOT person I'd wnat to eb friends with. Now why Tohru got with HIM in the end is a fuckin' mystery. YUKIRU FOREVER!!! If you're looking for character development in Fruits Basket you're better off with the manga.

TL;DR - ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE =/= ROMANCE TIME I don't know, I think it'd be pretty fine as long as it doesn't lead to your death.

TL;DR - ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE =/= ROMANCE TIME I don't know, I think it'd be pretty fine as long as it doesn't lead to your death. Eh, if you keep it under control and focus on survival first and foremost. Human contact and interaction, romantic or otherwise, can be useful or even necessary in high stress environments like a zombie apocalypse. We are social creatures and need contact to function as normal. Stress increases this need considerably. This can lead people to act irrationally making their own safety a lower priority to romantic or sexual satisfaction. Consider that the aforementioned are a bunch of teenagers and logical reasoning might fly out the window to be devoured by a horde of the undead at any such time. Their case that they are only students and face imminent demise at the hands of a bunch of shambling bags of flesh eating flesh might be slightly forgivable. How they act toward each other is less so. TL;DR Hormonally driven stressed teenagers are not the best choice to live with in a zombie apocalypse.

Okay, I agree if like Blacksun said, it could be kept under control. I really wouldn't mind as much. But seriously, it's much more about "romance" and lust than zombies, which pisses me off. Even if they are teenagers, at least a few of them should remember that it's a zombie apocalypse we're talking about here. Saeko seems like she was supposed to be the smartest one, especially since she's an upperclassman, but I'd say she's just as stupid because she and Takashi had sex, like, twice when the zombies could have attacked any minute. I'd like to think that if this happened in real life, they'd be long gone by now. Weapons are useless if they're not alert. A zombie could strike out at any minute behind them and they'd be too busy making out to notice. Then again, I shouldn't try to compare something like anime to real life.

The guy who drew for the anime is a hentai artist, so with that in mind they could fuck like rabbits and then the zombies come.

Sorry, should have clarified. But the way they ended the first season leaves so much room for more, so why not?

I should watch more anime so I can actually have an excuse for posting in this thread. /is the lame kind of person who actually likes most of the characters she encounters Oh! Oh! I got one! I dislike Nagisa from Clamp School Detectives. Okay, I don't actually dislike her, but I definitely don't like her. She had exactly one line, zero personality, and one of the main characters fell in love with her in the space of a chapter. Serously. She played a flute in a tree, Suoh thought she was pretty, there was a missile or something, he gets her out of harm's way, she thanks him, THEY ARE TOGETHER. I know she's recycled from an older work, but seriously, CLAMP is usually so good about making their romances well-developed even in their fluffy series ( Cardcaptor motherfucking Sakura, anyone?), and then they do this. Plus they later hint at Nokoru/Suoh. I don't even mind that she's a Mary Sue, because everyone is in that series and that's where they get a lot of the humor from. She's just so tragically underdeveloped. He. Is. So. Dull! There is nothing to this character at all! He stands and is invisible. There. done. At least the other nations have some sort of quirk to them that makes them unique. Canada has nothing. Nothing. That's his entire point. He's supposed to be entirely dull and bland so he can be forgotten so easily. I don't find him that great a character either, but I know that his dullness is the point of his character.

Doesn't mean that i won't dislike the character just because he was intended to be dull. Doesn't mean that I don't find such a boring character overused by fanon.

Anyone from School Days. I'm aware that it was a satire on harem anime, but I laughed hysterically at the ending.

Yuka...
GTFO ಠ_ಠYuka is a clingy little bitch. She keeps going on about 'the promise' that she made about ten freaking years ago while everyone else happens to have more serious shit going on in their lives. Let's run down the list: Kouta is suffering trauma from watching his family get murdered in front of his eyes by one of his friends. Lucy has grown into a world of hatred as a merciless murder machine and was betrayed by the only friend and possible love interest in her life. Mayu was neglected by her mother and sexually abused by her stepfather. Kid has abandonment issues, is deathly scared of anybody she believes she is being a burden to, and is thrown into a supernatural war between murderous little girls and the insane scientists who want to control them. Yuka wants to get in her cousin's pants, had a pretty average life, whines about a stupid promise that they made ten years ago when they were kids that Kouta doesn't even remember, and is an irrationally paranoid bitch about anything with a vagina that comes within 20 feet of him. Needless to say I didn't like her. Now that I'm watching the show and have seen this character, I have to agree with all of this.

This'll be TMI, but she freaking creams her pants over Kouta/on Kouta like three times. THREE TIMES.

Karin from Naruto Shippuden. I hated her the minute she made her debut in the manga. And all of a sudden there's huge SasuKarin works everywhere and people claiming how perfect they are for each other.
-_-;;;;
She molests him on numerous occasions! And he clearly had no interest in her. He only needed her skills for his stupid goals. Oh yeah, he totally loooooves her, which is why he didn't give a shit about her when Danzo threatened to hurt her and even told Sakura to kill her to prove she'd join him.
*Facepalm*
I give her credit for one thing, though. She actually realized Sasuke was a fucking asshole dickhead and moved on from him and didn't like him anymore. THANK GOD. She was actually smart and did the right thing and moved on from him! If she had still liked him after all that bullshit...yeah, big smack. But I guess my dislike for her dimmed down a bit because of this, but it still doesn't save her character as a whole.

Maka from Soul Eater: She is the constant star when all she does is yell and being saved by Soul. She is portrayed as the perfected heroine, yet she is too stubborn and selfish. The only thing that can redeem her is her bond with Crona, but she doesn't seem to actually go out and find her. She just waits to stumble upon her.
Lenalee from D.Gray Man: She cries and says "Oh! My friends" and that is it. I mean, come on, your an exorcist, man up. Do something with your Innocence, cause tears ain't doing anything against the Noahs.
Yuki from Vampire Knight: See above for Lenalee. Although recently, she is getting better.
Ichigo: He became a wimp with 5 different hairstyles. The whole Bleach series sucks now in my opinion.
Aizen: Again with Bleach. I can not take a villain seriously when he turns into a butterfly.

Every single character from Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. My god, these characters were awful. Lacus was flat and always talked about peace, Cagalli was a stereotypical hothead, Kira I wanted to shoot in the face with a rocket launcher, and Athrun was probably one of the blandest characters to have ever been put on screen. And I fucking hated Shinn Asuka. He was such a whiny douchebag.

To be absolutely fair romantically involved cousins are more accepted in other countries outside the USA. Not something you really talk about but they don't make a big stink about it as much. Still, I find it rather creepy myself. Being as I lived with cousins like they were direct siblings for many years.

EVERYONE FROM SCHOOL DAYS. Every. Single. One. No one is sane on that show.
Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. Sasuke. SASUKE.
And America from Hetalia. Especially due to how unorginal his character design is. YOU DO REALIZE THAT NOT EVERYONE IS WHITE IN AMERICA, RIGHT HIMARUYA?

Fandoms can be so... *sigh* I feel that way with the SakuraxSasuke pairing in the early series because Sakura is an annoying fangirl who saw him only on how cool and hot he was while Sasuke didn't really give a damn about her. God.

God. I know! It's a matter of opinion and perspective, and I'm not saying they're wrong in liking it...but it honestly doesn't MAKE SENSE! Unless you can present a good and believable argument, it's just crack. It even comes down to the shallow "They LOOK sexy together! OMG!" sometimes. No! Again, Karin molests him on a regular basis and he continuously tells her to stop or to get away from him. And he's in the right to do that. He's not interested in her, he doesn't need that kind of distraction and doesn't WANT that. A lot of Karin fangirls are so mad he refuses her and deep down he wants to. HA! Don't make me laugh. And like I also said, he didn't give a shit about her being in danger thanks to Asshole-jerk-will-NEVER-be-considered-Hokage Danzo. He also freely told Sakura to kill her. Our oh-so hot loving man other half of the pairing, ladies and gentleman! To me, it comes off that the pairing is based off THEIR ideals of the characters, rather than cannonical facts. Same with SasukexSakura. Like I said earlier on, Sakura was no different than the rest of his fangirls. She liked him because he was good-looking, talented, and also because he was damaged and she loved the idea of being the one to fix him. And by their goodbye scene...she proved how selfish she really was and that her attitude toward him has not improved. And he just showed more and more how much he couldn't care less about her.

For me, it's rather creepy as well. But I think the only reason it's creepy, is because of how shitty the "relationship" is. If the relationship (or her liking him) wasn't so...blegh and annoying, I probably wouldn't dislike it completely. <_<
