I bop Meka on the head.
"Hush!!!!!" I then turn back to the guy. "Those things all sound very familiar. Is there a way for us to get out of here and into the mainland?"

Blue doesn't like you badmouthing his king! The man that raised their people out of the dungeons and into the light, the man that gave them a job and a home, the man who brought Change for his people! So what if that man was a dark skinned pig monster? If you didn't vote for him you were just being racist. ~~~~~~~~~EDIT: And since I'm not hearing from anyone else, we're back with Nocturne. Who, if you haven't guessed, is in the realm of Ghosts 'n Goblins. For those who don't remember that game, Arthur the knight fights through level 1 graveyard in his armor... up until he gets hit by something. His armor ablates off, leaving him to continue the fight, in cute heart boxershorts. Also, that was supposed to be Firebrands "Breaker Breath" spell, a mid level attack of his designed to break through certain blocks and knock the armor off certain enemies(with double damage and no downside it basically replaces your normal "Spark Breath" attack once you get it, and the only other times you'd trade off are for special effects like the platform making "Tornado Breath"). Since Firebrand(or at least a Red Arremer that looks a lot like him, and since he's declared the "last" of them well before the timeperiod he would be pestering Arthur...) is an enemy in Ghosts 'n Goblins and a hero in his own game(Gargoyles Quest), I figured it was appropriate. And then I lost the animation for his "Breaker Breath". The shape is about right(an orb of 'slashing' animation) but the size is a bit bigger, since this is from Batman Revenge of the Joker(it's the effect that plays when Batman is sliced up). Nocturne probably should have been expecting that, but since she actively put down her whip and implied it would be a hand to hand fight(something Firebrand is not known for, he fights with his breath weapon to keep away from demons who tend to have blades or spikes, though it's implied in GQ3:Demons Crest that he is superhumanly strong since he can break statues with a headbutt), I figured a sudden ranged attack would catch her off guard. Firebrand is near naked(he wears only his slave manacles), now Nocturne is too. An even match! Isn't that what you wanted? A fair match? Attachments:

I almost wanted to have Firebrand let out the Curly Roll(used mostly by Dr. Zoidberg or Jabberjaws for this running away thing) when he 'dodges' Nocturne's attack. Though he didn't dodge it really, since it was a flanking motion to get behind him, which she succeeded at... she just probably wasn't expecting him to get the high ground like that, sorta negating the flanking. How do you write out the Curly Roll anyway? "Woob woob woob woob!" or something like that? Attachments:

Yes, we have fanboy moments with Meka inching closer and finally giving Leonardo a hug(though Leonardo is turning and making a fist in palm bow to Splinter at the time) and, of course, Al faints into the arms of a mouse girl. Where will this new twist take us, and will there be pizza involved? So many questions, and both Splinter and Donatello there to answer them for you! Ask away! Meanwhile, I discover the limitations of the tackling animation, and both Nocturne and Firebrand get swallowed up by the entrance of Dungeon 6: Dragon... of course that doesn't look at all like the Dragon Dungeon from Legend of Zelda... no, that's the temple to the underworld from Kid Icarus. Which you actually escape OUT of(level 1 through 4 of Kid Icarus is climbing your way out of the Underworld), rather than fall into. So maybe a few things are kinda mixed up. And yes, Cerberus should be right in that room with you... but he's not, so there. All will be revealed, if only you seek it out and ask the right questions! Attachments:

Queen Zelda? Queen Peach? That's right! Not Princesses any more. You know, my initial thought for the summit was to have all the mystical characters like Princess Zelda and Princess Peach(who really has never shown actual magic, but it's sorta implied in Super Mario and Super Mario3 that she has very potent magic in a 'fisher king' sorta way with her Mushroom Kingdom), who the hero has to save. Then I considered some of the villains which would fit when I realized that there actually aren't that many characters who fit that bill and that I have a sprite of. Which is annoying, since I could swear that you have to rescue ancient wizards in a few games, but nooooo... Then I got to thinking that maybe I should use less Legend of Zelda characters(initial frame had six different Zelda girls, two of them villains and the three Oracles/Sages/Goddesses. I trimmed it down to two, Zelda herself and Twinrova). So that third panel I'm not all that proud of. It doesn't even have Splinter(in his original sprite, not the modified one I made) in it, despite him SAYING he was there. Oh, and this whole bit was somewhat told to you by Old Man Link when you got the sword, shield, and boomerange. Let's see what the Ninja Turtles will give you! Attachments:

... why didn't anyone say anything to stop this? Meka! You've doomed us all to a training montage! Minus the montage part, since this is already frame by frame comics. And we introduce our new arrival. The anti-gravity waves will shut off when she moves and/or she's capable of adjusting her jump while in mid air(a typical video game bending of real physics due to programming limitations), so she's not trapped... she just was caught before hurting herself on the hard cave floor.
