A wiki for all things badfic !

I mentioned it a while back, and I finally got around to making it ;D

Behold, the S.S. Snark Wiki ! I've created it over a week ago and have been trying to prepare a few things (like a few CSS skins and whatnot) and start writing some page. At the moment I've written the Brewdening Love page, and I've already added the text of all of Erin's fics, because that's part of my plans — to host the badfics somewhere they won't be taken down from. Hopefully, at least ^-^

Feel free to drop by and edit, 'cause there's no way I can add all the information by myself ! Also, if anyone wants to design a logo, a background or a favicon (y'know, the little icon that shows up in your browser's url bar), that would be really helpful. I'm also open to suggestions if you have any ^-^ I guess we can make this thread the official thread for all that business. That or you can go straight to my talk page on the wiki itself.

@ Serkadios and Lyra : Oops ^^' I made the homeoage yesterday and added all the trolls I could think of, and somehow I forgot FTS. I've added it now, although, to be honest, the main page will probably need re-working soon.

I edited Brian and Hugo's pages, as they neglected to mention their relationship with one another. Might wanna add an addendum that they're only explicitly canon in the BLEU, though.

…Yeah, I was on the fence about those two. I plan on making subpages for the BLEU, but I guess we could make an argument to include it on their main page as well.

annoyed : Um… I'll admit I don't know who those are ^^' But you can do it if you want ! It's the principle of a wiki, after all ^^

Well, let's start with here. So, we need :

• (Optional) A background : Either a pattern that can be any size, or an image that should be at least 1500 pixels large and around at least 700 pixels high to look good.
  
• A logo, that has to be a .png and 250x65 pixels
  
• A favicon, that has to be a .ico (although I can covert it for you if you want) and 16x16 pixels
  
• (Optional) We could also use a banner to add to the main page, to make it look a little better. No real restrictions here, aside from the fact that wikia limits the width of a page to around 1000 pixels (I read the actual value somewhere and forgot xD), so there's that. But if it's much smaller it's okay, too.
  
• (Optional-ish ?) Regarding my current plans for the main page, I'd need one image per troll, one image per main troll fic and/or one image per snarker. The idea is to replace the current format (a long-ass list) with a series of icons for each troll/fic/snarker, but for the sake of consistency I'd like the same person to make them all. Otherwise we could use each troll's artwork, except for that small detail that not all trolls have artwork
  

Also, I would appreciate any suggestions to make the main page look better.

(…that's a lot of things I'm asking from you guys ^_^')

I can draw crappy paint-pics for those trolls that don't have official illustrations. Because I have about the same art skills as a troll.

I volunteer as tribute to draw the 'optional' pictures for the main page, if that ends up being a thing that happens!! If no one else wants to do the background and et c., I'd be happy to work on those as well...

ETA : Just thought of something. For all the people (thinking specifically of Pluto and Puzzle) who have art, do I have your permission to upload them to the wiki ? (I won't be for a while, as I have my hands pretty full with NaNo and classes) If not, don't worry, I understand completely. You'll get credit, of course, as each picture I upload is categorized by artist and you should already have a Snarker page on here ^^

^ No problem (and thanks for your permission). Though you know, you can edit stuff even if you know nothing of wiki coding — the Wikia editor has two modes, the enriched one that is similar to the tumblr post editor and the code one that is for more experienced people. Also you can also ask me anything, and if you screw up, well it's likely that I'll be there to correct your mistakes, so it's all right
