I'll mainly be posting sections and sometimes finished work of my projects I'm working on in this thread if asked to see the full thing.
This is a section of a back story I am typing up to keep the details in order. The setting is in Europe and I'm still figuring out a time period so I might need help on that part.
The character is in his early twenties, and I don't mention his name on purpose. He was turned into a vampire and he passed out after, the vampire who changed him however went after his sister and well this happens.
It's still very choppy but I would like to focus on this part.

The priest gave me words of comfort as I weep over the loss of my sister, he does not know what could have done such a terrible sin stealing a poor innocent girl from this world. He brings me into an embrace feeling like the same one when our family feel ill. Our mother and father while taking care of us through their own crippling pain till they slowly left this world. As I feel this should be a moment that most consider a time to leave and don't come back I couldn't. I assigned myself to haunt this place of my misery for I needed to suffer the punishment. The priest whispered softly into my ear "These things in the woods must have taken her, no normal man could do this, such pity on those monsters for they are damned and must never know love." but he was showing me love. He didn't know that I sold my soul to this evil in exchange for false promise of safety for my sister. And as I left the worn down church, the First pinch of hunger in my stomach confirmed that this wasn't a dream.
