So he's doing the Prince and the Cobbler tonight. Anyone excited?
I heard that the movie is supposedly VERY special *sticks hand in the air and waves it arround frantically* ME!

I liked the review.
Especially since he did take time to explain its history and the improved cut.
The "Oh lawl I got called by an actor from the movie" joke went on a little bit too long, though.

I enjoyed The Thief and the Cobbler reveiw. Dunno why.
I went and checke out all the songs...boy he was right, they ARE bland. Seriously, "SHEEEEEE IS MOAR THAN THIS!" gets annoying when it's constantly repeated.

Doug did Waterworld. I never saw it, and now I know why. What a crap film. I liked Kevin Costner is two films, Bull Durham and Field of Dreams. Everything else with him I can't be bothered to even care about.

I love him, though I prefer his older reviews. I think they're a lot more funny. My two favourites of his are probably Captain N and Titanic the animated movie. I'll never get tired of Top 11 though. They're always great.

I think it's kinda strange that he isn't doing more positive NC episodes like he did with Gargoyles. I remember it being pretty enjoyable, even if he didn't tear it apart.

It's prolly' because he can't find that much to say. If he picks a really popular show that he enjoys, he can't say much that's new. Which is why Top 11s are good; he can quickly say what he enjoys about that movie/show/song/character and why it deserves it's place, maybe point out a funny flaw, then move on.

I love Alone in the Dark and Good Son more than any other review
Those were the ones where he lost his voice and had to improvise. He made the ENTIRE script for Alone in the Dark (getting Spooney and Linkara's character down in the process) and has to use writing and subtitles for Good Son
Out of all his reviews, you can tell how much he put his sweat and blood in those 2, even when he was sick and couldn't talk, THAT is dedication

It looks like January is officially "Sequel Month" where he reviews sequels to works he has already reviewed.
First review of the month and...he isn't taking it very well. This month is going to hurt for him.

Some one needs to tally all the time he says "Fuck" in that review.
And wow. I dont think I've ever seen him that mad. It looks like that was almost as bad as Garbage Pail Kids or The Star Wars Holiday Special.
And now I don't think I'll ever be able to listen to "Born To Be Wild" again.
I feel pity for Doug. I have the feeling that things are only going to get worse. And I'm an optimist.

Oh yes, and I think next week he's doing Secret of NIMH 2, and the first Secret of NIMH is one of his favourite movies of all time.

^I feel slightly bad for admitting this, but I can't wait to see that review and I plan to laugh at his pain while watching it.

I always feel like I'm actually going to be disapointed when he reveiws stuff I really hate (like Pebble and the Penguin) because he either doesn't see it as that bad or misses really annoying stuff. He really likes Nimh though, so maybe not this time.

I actually wanted him to do the movie 'Secret of N.I.M.H. 2' first, but seeing him ripping the film 'The Neverending Story III' to pieces (literally) was very enjoyable. Still, I want that sequel to NIMH to be DESTROYED into nothingness! It's funny, though; At first, I didn't want to watch him, because it wasn't interesting at first. I'm not sure what made me to watch some of his videos, but I'm glad to sit in my chair, waiting for his newest video.

Wasn't All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 on the list? I feel like I'm insane, but I swear I saw that movie on the list the first time I read it.

The Secret of NIMH 2 is going to be epic! That movie is so very very terrible, it was like somebody put a Disney blender to the original one. And since TSON is on Dougs list of favourite movies I can only imagine the ripping apart this movie is going to receive XD

^Agreed! Not to mention that sequel is just plain AWFUL; It's everything that isn't Secret of NIMH should be. It's so corny, nonsense, cutey-stuff, and...it freakin' got musical scenes. MUSICAL. My inner child's heart broke when I first saw that movie... It must be destroyed.

You might have gotten them mixed up because the first movies were both of Bluth's creations

I swear I remember seeing them and thinking "Aw sweet, All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 and Secret of NIHM 2? January is going to be epic!" That would be a reason it changed? So every movie on the list was a sequel to one he'd reveiwed/mentioned before? That or I'm going crazy. Either way, I'm excited for tonight. I may end up sacraficing sleep for this thing.

^ I was gonna post about, but I felt like "what if I spoil the jokes for the non blipers?"
Meghan, you've robbed me of that guilt, so on with the spoiling!
I feel like this is one of Dougs best. I laughed out loud quite a lot.
The opening and ending were pure genius. No introducing who he is, just suiting up and diving right in. And brining back the caring joke.
He managed to get so much material out of this. No needing to take outside jokes or old refrences, the movie was so bad all e needed to do was point out what was wrong and it was funny. And despite me being a total nitpicker, I was satisfied. Okay, I wished he'd pointed out the fact that the Brisby daughters looked like a hilbily slut and a fat preteen emo, but him mentioning how Mrs Brisby gets no fucking credit makes up for that. (I do wish he's pointe dou thte fact that mice had gone from eleven to six though, that was a very dumb mistake.)
I'd never saw that part in the middle before. For some reason, my DVD always jumped when the cats were being lured into NIHM, up until the point where they set out in the balloons. So yeah, the entire Martin thing was totally out of the blue for me as a kid. But actually, the letter made it worse. What letter? Mrs Brisby wrote letters? I thought she struggled to read and write? What the hell? *mindfuck*

Man, was Care Bears 2 bad! Thank god we have N.C. reviewing the movie, because that movie is full of plotholes.

I think Sequel Month is my favourite month ever. I enjoyed Neverending Story 3 (even though the movie itself was so boring), I liked Ferngully 2, I freaking loved NIHM 2, and Carebears 2 was fun.
Hey, I just realized, all of these were from my childhood. Well, that's not suprising but it's weird. Plus half of them I didn't know were not the originals.

Oh, that Care Bears 2 review was golden. It's been a while since I've had a really good laugh at a review but this bit sent me over the edge:
Doug: "Yeah, I have to admit, tripping and hitting your head on a canoe is a pretty funny way to go for the ruler of all evil.
Star god: "What's that? He hit his head on a canoe and drowned?...Huh. I can't believe we were actually afraid of this guy...oh, well, let's break out the peppermint shots."
;D I nearly ended myself laughing. I swear, I was like Doug when he laughing at Zack dressed up in Saved By The Bell:
Especially those massive inward breaths.
