For those who remained on Earth after the Walkers destroyed every bastion of Humanity's resolve and absolution, home is a relative concept. It is a euphoric nostalgia to cling on to when the nights are cold and the Walkers are especially ravenous.
Yet, for those lucky enough to find them, there is sanctuary accessible to them. Through struggle and redemption, a tenacious group of lucky survivors have carved out a home in the West Georgia Correctional Facility.
It is here that civilization is being rebuilt. Walls once meant to keep people in, now protect those inside from the Walkers at their gates. The luxuries of life, so nostalgic, begin to return in form.
A sprawling community, 'The Prison' thrives on the back bone of a group mentality. Men, women and children stand as equals in a democratic society governed by 'The Council'.
Men and women tend to the Prison, defend its walls and scout the land outside, while children play and educate themselves to carry the torch of Humanity.
For these survivors, there is no easy existence, yet it is one they will fight for tooth and nail.
ANYWAYS.
This is your typical zombie RP, set in a modern day setting in the West Georgia Correctional Facility from the Walking Dead TV Series. It is set during the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4.
We play citizens of the Prison, which numbers fifty-to-one-hundred survivors, gathered from the Woodbury Army and strangers pulled in. They come from all walks of life, shapes and sizes.
Keep it realistic, people.

NAME: Hudson 'Hud' Turner AGE: 27 GENDER: Male APPEARANCE: EQUIPMENT: You certainly can't knock Hud for coming unprepared; while he prefers to wear lighter, practical clothing, suitable for more agile movement and flexibility, he tends to wear a Kevlar ballistic vest beneath his jacket (it's people he worries about more than walkers, after all), and heavier, military-grade boots and gloves while he's in the 'wild'. In his pack, he carries as many necessities as he can, at least without weighing himself down; water, some non-perishable foods, a book of matches, and a crowbar. In terms of weapons, Hud carries a Glock 19 nine millimeter, but disdains the expense of ammunition and noise that tends to attract walkers from on high; which is why his preferred weapon of choice is the Hilti DX 460 ( "This shit right here's a gun powder-activated twenty-seven caliber semi-auto no-kickback piece of nail-throwin' mayhem. And it's aimed right between your eyes."). HISTORY: Hud doesn't talk much about what he did before shit went down and dead people started getting back up again. What is known, at least from what he's told thus far, is that he was born and raised in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, and worked as a roughneck on the oil rigs in the Gulf for as long as he can remember working. He tends to get a bit hazy when it comes to how he ended up in the ass-end of Georgia in the first place; from what he's told, he's was on the run well before the world had come to an end, but he's never said why. He had a daughter, at one point; he lost her when Birmingham fell. Hud and the members of a small group of survivors he had joined up with were discovered by 'The Sheriff' and his posse months ago, and invited into their fold, a large camp in what was once a prison. Hud gladly accepted the offer, and has since become as productive a member of this community as he could be, taking whatever job happened to be thrown at him. HOW MANY WALKERS HAVE YOU KILLED?: "Eight or nine, I dunno. Not too many. They weren't the ones causin' me direct problems."HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU KILLED?: "As many as you did, when you were in my position."WHY?: "Why ain't got nothin' to do with it anymore, man. That's not on a survivor's repertoire."

NAME: Emily J. Fletcher. AGE: 23. GENDER: Female. APPEARANCE: www4.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Ellen+Page+East+Portraits+2013+Sundance+Film+_3msj2TrCaxl.jpgEQUIPMENT: Usually wears jeans with make-shift 'over armor' to defend from leg bites, she wears a shirt and jacket that is form-fitting so as not to be grabbed. She usually keeps her hair in a pony tail or hidden with a baseball hat. Heavy, military-grade combat boots guard her feet from being grabbed and bitten. Carries a machete on her hip, with a rifle as her main weapon, with a flash-light strapped to the side. She carries a backpack with two days worth of food, a water bottle, a lighter and a pack of cigarettes. HISTORY: Born in Michigan, she moved to Georgia with her then boyfriend to study and work away from her overbearing parents. She found herself moving camp-to-camp until she wound up at Woodbury and finally at The Prison, where she works for her meals. Despite her frame, Emily can hold her own against a Walker, using her speed and agility, as well as quick wits and intelligence to maneuver, making her one of The Prison's most able scouts.

Name: Miranda Novoa Age: 24 Gender: Female Appearance: i905.photobucket.com/albums/ac260/axgates/seygab.jpg. (yes just for you Jash) Equipment: Since her specialities are medical in nature, most of her equipment is for fixing people up, such as bandages and medicicine and such. Her clothing is a bit on the impractical side, she pretty much wears whatever durable clothes she can find, and she lacks anything like armor and such. For a weapon she carries a Glock. History: Miranda is the youngest of 5 children born to two refugees from Cuba who had fled Castro's regime in 1980. Miranda was always an extremely bright girl, nd despite the fact her family was rather poor, she ended up earning enough scholarship money to attend university in her hometown of Miami, and after receiving her Bachelor's degree, she left to go study medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. It was during her time in medical school that the zombie apocalypse happened, and Miranda ended up being one of the lucky ones to make it to the Prison. Even though she never received her PHD and is technically unqualified to be a doctor, she had more experience then most, so she was quickly put to work to fixing up patients in the Prison's clinic.
