TFTD I agreee. That is one of the reasons why I stopped reading it.Same here. I went out of my way to rate the first 4 HoN books that came in a pack, and I gave it a 3 star rating on Amazon... I still think I should have rated the books a 2 or less star rating. I still have to review Twilight saga combo pack. I think I nearly facepalmed everytime Damien was described almost extremely girly. Not every gay person acts like that. Seriously, where did the Casts' do their research from... Old tv movies and fashion shows?
Probably...>____>

And Jack was so much worse, and I don't even know how that's possible.

Oh yeah, big time. He did pretty much all of the squealing, screaming, crying, and fainting. Probably more things too.

Now DFTD, that is just fucked up. I actually don't know a single gay guy that is more feminine than me. And I'm am not particularly feminine.

^ Is that the newest book? I stopped after Burned because sporking them was killing my brain cells, and it was a waste of money.

Oh yeah, big time. He did pretty much all of the squealing, screaming, crying, and fainting. Probably more things too. Yeah he did. I rolled my eyes and facepalmed at that stuff. I swear that the Casts tried to make the action sound so melodramatic. My friend and I think Jack existed so Damien wouldn't angst so much and look more manly by comparison. I think I kind of gave up on reading anything by P.C. Cast. I used to like her Goddess series books as a guilty pleasure, but lately they're starting to get as bad as the House of Night books. The latest one Goddess of Legend has a main character who is in middle aged who uses as much slang as Zoey...

I don't get much of a chance to go to the library. I usually depend on other people buying the crappy books.

Just curious, has anyone here read Awakened yet? My friend has, but she's one of the insanest HON fangirl I've ever met. I'm taking her review of it with a fistful of salt when she told me it was an "amuzing boook." Apart from that she didn't tell me nothing useful since she says "haters don't need details in order to hate."

If I can get a copy of Awankened, I'll probably spork it. If it's not as stupidly confusing as Burned.

I think the Casts are milking the cash cow, and it's going to kill the series faster than anything else. How many books does that make the series? I think at least 9.

That's pretty much Insane Fangirl Logic 101. I think I've heard that line or ones like it a million times. And it's funny because I'm sure most of them have things they hate, reasons or no reasons.

I have the first five books, but I think I'll sell them. Otherwise I'll want to get the next seven, which are no doubt utterly crap.

I think a good poertion of the fans are already tired of it, I doubt it'll make it to 12 (otherwise, if it does, they'll do poorly and PC will just fade into obscurity)

I still have to wonder why she wants me to analyze the heck out of Marked and Twilight and put it on my blog...

Spoilers? What's there to spoil? The only actual mystery is which boy will Zoey pick in the end, and they're using bullshit tactics to extend that sub-plot till the very end. By the time they revel it, no one will care.

If it makes it to 12 books, then I'm going to be shocked if the plot overview even makes sense. It almost makes me nervous that books that are popular due to being in a series.

While I do have my guilty pleasure reading, I can pick out and annalyze what is crappy in a book.
