Mine's a long story, despite how short it is. ^^; When I first came onto the Internet, 7 years ago ( !) I was just a random kid on forums with the username 'B@DIGI' (as I was a Digimon fan, my real first name begins with B and I like the @ sign). But being full of young teens people were always asking "OMG WHATS UR REAL NAME??" and me being Net-safety conscious I'd always say "I'd rather not tell you." and they'd get at me for not wanting to tell them. Now, round the same time I started watching Outlaw Star dubs, and fell in love with Aisha. I then started to use 'Aisha' as my new account aliases on various forums and people STOPPED ASKING MY REAL NAME because they assumed 'Aisha' was it. ^^ A few years later I got into Sonic the Hedgehog again, and started to learn all I could about Sonic Underground, having only one little memory of it. This led to my first Sonic OC of 'Aisha Prower', based on Tails, and a friend of Manic's from way back. During the course of writing her story I had my first ever character rebellion and she ended up falling in love with Manic. Towards the end of my Sonic phase I joined DeviantART for the first time and in looking for a username, Aisha Prower came to my mind and I almost entered 'AishaPrower'... but then I remembered the French surname for the Hedgehog triplets of 'Le Herisson' and so instead I became 'AishaLeHerisson' on DA. And the username stuck, I used it almost everywhere I went, even after I became a Whovian instead. Eventually when I came to TS! I registered the same as always as 'aishaleherisson'... but I knew that people were getting fed up of remembering how to spell my long username, so I shortened it. AishaLeHerisson = AiLH And that's the story. xD

It's my name. /so creative.
Though I have another online name, which is Talzmistle. I used it on YouTube. I used to have a character named Talzo (who was then renamed Seth - my favourite guy's name), which was just a mixture of my favourite letters (L, Z, T, and O). The "mistle" was added for no reason at all. I guess I had "mistletoe" in mind for some reason.
I deleted that YouTube account because I was sick of all the glitches on it, then made a new one with Talziemistle. I usually get called Talz or Talzie for short. My PSN name is also Lyntalzie.
I always love to have usernames that are just a random bunch of letters. They become my identity after a while.

Back when I was in fifth grade, I had quite a couple Jurassic Park Games, but all of them (accept Operation Genesis) paled in comparison to Jurassic Park: Dinosaur Battles, where you controlled dinosaurs to fight eachother, modified their DNA structure for fights, and added DNA to certain special moves.
Anyways, the last level had what I consider to be one of the hardest bosses I have ever faced in a video game, the Prime Spinosaurus. This guy didn't fuck around, he dealt with you as fast as he could, and if you survived long enough to piss him off, AND have his energy bar fully charged, he used this one hit kill move on you and BAM, you were down! So anyways, that's where the name came from.

THE ELDERS OF THE INTERNET.
It's from the IT Crowd, when Jen wins employee of the month and Moss and Roy give her "the Internet" to use as a prop in her speech, and Roy expresses his surprise that the Elders of the Internet let Jen have "the internet".
I'll be back to Corporal Flashback soon, I love that damn name too much.

My current one, Dylan Sharp, is a character from one of my favorite books. He isn't my favorite (my favuorite's Alek), but he fit me better, because:
Dylan Sharp is actually Deryn Sharp. Dylan is her boy name. Deryn is a girl pretending to be a guy...which is what I'm doing. XD
Aren't I sneaky?

There's a really personal meaning to it, but I'll go with option number 2- Condemned = EPIC SONG
Aealo = Rotting Christ's new album. It's not that good, tbh but I like how it sounds. Aealo~

In keeping with the already started tradition of TLDR on this thread: It doesn't sound especially pleasing, and it's heavily Germanic and won't roll off the tongue, but my username definitely has a meaning. Why be in love with history? This sounds like a childish if not outright arbitrary subject to love. But in my case, I love history because studying it allows me to only observe the madness of the past, but also madness of the present.
When we were very young our parents warned us not to put our hand on the stove; we might have disobeyed--once and only once. We were able to learn from our mistake of placing our hand on the stove and did not make it again. If only everything in life were that simple. But it isn't. Some ideas are akin to playing with fire. There is something enticing about fire, and there's something enticing about a number of different political, economic, and social philosophies that are fallacious, but deceptively so.
And just as fire is alluring but puting our hand on the stove will produce pain, so to many ideas, when implented, have caused pain in the real world both physical and societal. A desire to satisfy curiosity without contemplating consequences can lead to the searing of the society. But so can a desire to do good without understanding inherent contraints and limitations of various policy decisions in a world filled, not with abstract people, but flesh and blood men and women. As Mark Twain once observed "The streets of hell are paved with good intentions."
By studying history, one can learn to be more cautious. A love of the past, so long as it is tempered with an understanding of the present and acceptance of certain conditions as they are, can help to cure some of the ideological ills. That's basically what I'm about. Now, I've got my own political notions, and I'll be honest about that. But I do have a sincere desire to learn from mistakes and hopefully not repeat them. And that's the story behind my username. : )

Every few hundred posts I've been changing my name. Some are for comedy, no matter how dark it seems. The name changes also come with Avatar, Sig, Location, and Personal Text changes, all (hopefully) linking with the theme laid out with the name. Current sig is just a travesty, and could only be used in connection with the ego associated with a mastermind.

I started thinking about how lame my current name was, and in the rambling way that is my wont, I went from "Hmm…lame name… LameName… name of the game, lol… I do like puns on the game…I just lost the game… hmm… name of the game is fucking lame… lame name of the game…lol… that's just stupid enough to work, haha… yeah… cause the lameness of the name is the name of the game here… "oh my god am I stupid. Oh my god is that name stupid. How damn appropriate, eheheh…heh" I think this is my favorite name yet.

I grew up with Nintendo games, and I love them so much. They bring me wonderful memories that I'll never forget, and even to this day as a 20-year-old gal, I love mah Nintendo games. Recently, I decided to make my name of something I loved, but I couldn't think of what, so I went with my biggest love next to writing, which is Nintendo. NintendoGal! The 55, comes from my birth date, May 5th. I know that should technically be 0505, but 55 is easier. I get it from a friend of mine, who's birthday is December 12th, and he puts 1212 in his username. So it works! :3 I am NintendoGal55. ^w^

On some other sites, I'm known as amethystjwlz. That also happened to be my AIM screen name (when I used to IM my friends almost 24/7), but I haven't used AIM since my senior year of high school. It's a silly little screen name that I made up when I was 14, consisting of amethyst, my birthstone, and one of my nicknames (Jewels).
J.Day, the screen name I currently use, is pretty much just the first letter of my first name and my middle name. It's short, easy to remember, and it rhymes. ;D

Thanks; can't believe I missed this in search, what a doofus. XXD
Anyway, my username is based on the photo which my avatar comes from. I am very interested in Chernobyl, which some might call morbid, but there you go; we can't all shit rainbows every second of every day. ^^
I was reading an article on the disaster when I came accross a photograph showing a horse standing on a street in Pripyat. I thought it not only factual, but also artistic; showing beauty in the middle of chaos and destruction. I immediately created a username based on the picture and created my avvie out of it also.

I thought mine up when creating an account for FFNet a few years back. I wasn't in the most sane states of mind, I was feeling kind of poetic, and on a bit of a speshul snowflake kick at the time. But it grew on me a lot, and now I use it for many things. I've actually grown to love it more than is probably healthy, too.

I can't actually remember how Sir Goddamn Chaos was coined, but I'm 99% positive someone called me it back on V2. Originally it was N.Chaos, also known as Nachos, which I've been using for a few years now. Pretty simple, my name's Nick (or Nix), and I'm known to be chaotic as hell. Thus, N.Chaos. I used to go by Nix Chaos, but someone complained that it sounded like a scenekid name, and that kind of disturbed me so...I shortened it.
I'm also known as Nick C. or Atephobic across the interbutts. Nick C. Is also the name I'm currently (trying) to publish under.

I was originally Sally the Lunatic (named after a character of mine).
Now, I've changed it to Sideshow Sally.
