I <3 Luna. She's one of my favorites in the series, she's not "normal", she's quirky in the true sense of it, she knows that people call her looney and she doesn't care, she's herself and she's happy. I will admit I laughed when she told Hermione that her dad edited the Quibbler.
She's very loyal to her friends, she's willing to fight and defend those friends, she's not judgemental and she's smart.
I am a geek and a nerd at heart, my family jokes that I would marry school if I could. Doesn't help that I'm going to be a teacher. Which is why, I adore Luna so much.

^She is.
You know, another thing I love about Ravenclaw is how instead of passwords, they have to answer a riddle.

^Indeed it is. I only wish we'd seen more of Ravenclaw in the series.

I've always got Ravenclaw as a house, and then I found out exactly how to get into their common room.
I could never be a Ravenclaw. I suck at riddles.

I'm a Ravenpuff myself. And yeah, riddles can be hard, but fun.

I love the Ravenclaw riddle idea. The problem is, it makes the other houses kind of look stupid. You're brave, cunning, nice? Remember this stupid password.

Well, the Gryffindors did have to put up with that Knight during the third year, that was quite a battle.

True but that wasn't the founder's idea, it was an unfortunate idea to solve a temporary problem. The other three founders were clearly no fun in comparison. Slytherin could have easily come up with something morbid or insulting.

From the Pottermore hufflepuff message (I googled it I'm not a hufflepuff)
"the entrance to the common room is concealed in a stack of large barrels in a nook on the right hand side of the kitchen corridor. Tap the barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, in the rhythm of ‘Helga Hufflepuff’, and the lid will swing open. We are the only house at Hogwarts that also has a repelling device for would-be intruders. If the wrong lid is tapped, or if the rhythm of the tapping is wrong, the illegal entrant is doused in vinegar."

I <3 Ravenclaw. Probably because I am one, but still.
The fact that they are by far the most developed in my head is a complete coincidence. >.>
Also a friend of mine and I have officially made the coolest (fanon) piece of Ravenclaw furniture ever. A magical calender that lists all holidays/birthdays/other really important occaisions and who celebrates them. It's a rite of passage for first years to learn each holiday and how it's celebrated. Tricky, but if Rowena could design the moving floor plan, then I'd imagine it'd be comparatively simple.
