Listening to "Basket Case" by Green Day. I used to love that band, but since I met a lot of annoying, Tara Gilesbie-esque, faux-punk fans of their music, I kind of stopped liking them. Now I'm getting into their songs again. xD

Sitting in my bedroom, trying to figure out if I'm getting worried about nothing. I went to the Barnes and Nobles earlier to pick up a book I knew had just come out. While I was there I decided to browse the shelves and ended up finding copies of One Salt Sea by Seanan McGuire. Problem: the book isn't scheduled for release until Sept 6. Maybe I'm dense, but I can't figure out why there are copies available early at the store. I don't know...my anxiety is kicking in and making me think that these are fake copies or something...
::sigh:: I did end up buying a copy and now my anxiety is trying to convince me that this was a bad idea. So I've spent the last hour Googling the books. I think I'm freaking out over nothing...again.

Doing what I always to when I need to check that my emotions are still working; watching scenes from The Brave Little Toaster and crying like a bitch.

I'm supposed to be reading for an upcoming exam. Instead, I find myself browsing the Internet and being all wangsty about the fact that two awesome things will happen on same weekend and I'm going to miss one of them (a gig we've been waiting for with my sister and a backstage round in the theatre where they're showing the Finnish production of Tanz Der Vampire).

Been writing, mostly. :3
In fact, yesterday I used "enamorion" (in the narrative of the story for which I needed to research mens underpants in the 1920s) despite the fact that it's not a word-- but I needed a noun form of enamor so I made one so there! :P ... And then I laughed about it because the suffix "-ion/-tion" is classified as unproductive! Hahahahahah!
(I'll have to use footnotes and a glossary for this story most of my stories, anyway, so a few neologisms won't kill anyone.)

I am listening to Destiny's Child. lol, so far it seems that they wore full-torso skivvies with buttflaps and pants quite similar to boxer shorts (I'm fairly certain that the blouse and shorts are separate-- they look like they are and don't have a buttflap so they better be!).

Watching old Grange Hill clips from the 70's and 80's out of late night boredom. XD Good show, though. I'm surprised I didn't look it up earlier.
