I've recently started watching lots of anime, for some reason. I'm enjoying it too.
So, yeah, is there anything, like a new hobby or thing to watch, that you got into recently?

/b/. I used to go on once in a while but in these past few weeks I've been spending wayyy too much fucking time on /b/ and even /soc/ of all things sometimes. Yep, I'm fuckin' cancer.
I've also kindasorta gotten back into drawing, but I know it won't last (never does, it comes and goes). And D&D. I haven't gotten to actually play yet, but I'm really looking forward to starting (sadly).

Fishnets. Would never have dreamed of wearing them even a month ago, now I own two pairs.

Hi, are you me? That's exactly the language I want to learn! I'm trying to find a thorough but not so expensive guide to help me. Rosetta Stone is just way too much money, and other programs (mostly the free, online types) don't have audio pronunciations.

Over-the-knee socks. I guess it's not really "recent" but now I just love them a thousand times more for some reason. Probably because I just washed them all.

Rock climbing. Might do it whenever I go to the gym, even though I screwed up today (first time).
Jewelry. Now I go around with two necklaces and a ring (I'm turning girly! DX).

I started watching episodes of Dragon Ball Z Kai before and after Christmas. It's really DBZ, only Nicktoons cut it down to 50 episodes. I don't watch it every single day, just whenever I feel like it.

Have you ever tried Byki? It's free, has audio pronunciations, and really good at shoving languages down your throat. -Is also trying to learn German-
I recently developed an interest in languages, culture and history. I mean, I've always been interested in other countries and stuff, but lately...I dunno, I just find it all really frickin' fascinating and now I'm determined to learn twelve different languages (German, Italian, Russian, Estonian, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Korean, Scottish Gaelic, Hebrew, Arabic, Shona and Somali), some of which I hadn't even heard of a couple of years ago. I'm not sure if I'll ever manage to speak fluently in all of them, though. D|[/font]

I've really gotten into funky clothing and accessories--specifically awesome[/i]ugly sweaters and those Mardi Gras beads. Oh, and wearing one earring (left ear~) and gloves.
Also, milk. I have been drinking a shitton of milk lately.

Oh, I forgot about byki, haha. There's also this site, VK, if you haven't already checked it out: www.babelnation.com/german/index.htmlIt has audio. Some of it doesn't work, though, unfortunately.

Solitary. I loved it years ago, and finding it again; I'm enjoying it so much. And because of all my friends, I'm getting back into Seether and finding a sad interest in Axis & Allies.

Vampire anime. Don't ask me why. x.x I have no idea. I mean, I'm trying to sta-WAS trying to stay, obviously I've not been successful-away from anything having to do with vampires or werewolves or whatever. I guess it hasn't worked. Black Blood Brothers, Blood+, Vampire Knight, etc. Gah. I need to go buy a library so I don't get into this kind of thing. (A library without DVDs)

Genesis of Aquarion. Something I bought because it was 10 bucks- and TvTropes- turned out to be a kickass mech series, and one of my favorite anime, that I'm looking into importing the Art Book, Perfect Works book, and a JPN PS2 for the game (and the Super Robot Wars titles) after the CDs come.

Norway. Seriously, Norway is taking over my life. I've borrowed two travel guides from the library, want to learn the language, am picking up weird facts, have drawn the Norwegian flag in all my school books and my favourite character from Hetalia is now Norway.

Cute cooking. I'm not a good cook but suddenly I got the urge to make cute things. I even just made ham cheese sandwiches who looked like a cat and a bear.

Yugioh. At first it was just the abridged series but now I've started reading the manga.
Pokemon. Well I was into it until I was like 11, but...yeah I'm started to like it again. I'm giving up on actually learning the card game.

The Nostalgia Critic. I wasn't too big with him years back, but I think his Zodmas videos got me back into the swing of things.

Battle Royale and Galileo (Japanese drama). How I got into Galileo: A certain Hong Kong drama was inspired by Galileo and used some of the basic roots. I finally took a look into the original inspiration and I really liked it. The cases are clever and interesting. As for characters, Yukawa sensei is quite amusing and I like his chemistry with Kaoru Utsumi. I am 70% through, may finish the series in the near future but overall quite good. I would recommend it for those getting a little tired of the typical Asian drama formula and it is quite unique. Battle Royale: I was skimming the biography page of Kou Shibasaki (She plays Utsumi in Galileo), and noticed that it was that film was the starting point in her rise to fame. So I decided to check it out. Some shock factors, but quite interesting themes. The 3 adaptations are different in character interpretation and sequence of certain events but the overall premise and themes are still there. Reading most of the manga, it is VERY graphic due to the raw violence, gore, sex and more that matched the grittiness. The movie is good overall despite limited time for character depth. The 'sequel' is a miss but not the worst film as the soundtrack sort of makes up for the many faults. Still yet to read the novel. Yes, I am aware this is quite long.
