Hi. Well this is the like the "Scenes that brighten your day" thread, except it's the opposite
In HBP, I never like reading in the Sectumsempra chapter where Harry uses sectumsempra on Draco. And Myrtle's screaming and Snape comes and everything. It's SUCH a mistake I can't believe it:(
And in Deathly Hallows, when the snatchers come and it has to happen at the end of the chapter so it's unexpected.

^Agreed on "Sectumsempra." Sometimes when I'm re-reading I'll even skip it. Other than that, none that I can think of.

I used to hate when the Demetors came in the fifth book, but now I've reread it and it was good. Oh, but I do hate when Harry throws his bitchfit and wrecks Dumbledore's office.

The First Chapter of Every Book. OMG, I love these books, but the first chapters were always the hardest to concentrate on and to ultimately conquer. I remember once my sister tried to read them, and she picked up the 4th book (this was years ago when the 4th was just released) and tried reading the first chapter, and put it down without going more than a page into it. I tried telling her she just picked up the hardest book to read in the series (at the time) and tried jumping into THE hardest chapter of the series, without knowing any of the anticipation of what was to come, to help her through it, and just decided then that she didn't like the books enough to read them. I don't think she's ever tried to read them again.

^Love your dancing Conan icon.
From The Goblet of Fire: *Flesh, Blood, and Bone: "Kill the spare", and the rest of the chapter. *Priori Incantatem: "Take my body back to my parents..."
Half-Blood Prince: *The Cave: Dumbledore's agony, I just can't. *The Lightening-Struckt Tower: Self explanatory, really.

Anytime Harry and Ron get into a fight. It breaks my heart mainly because they're friendship reminds me of mine with my bestfriend and I couldn't imagine not being friends with her.

Any kind of Death Scene. I have to read them though, or I feel like I'm disrespecting the character

^Fangirls, then swears her undying love for Conan. And you get brownie points for that image.
From The Deathly Hallows, *The Forrest Again: There's something so beautiful on that chapter that I both love and dread reading.

I can't read the parts where Harry is about to do something stupid and/or embarrasing for no good reason. I just can't read them.

Those parts were the hardest to read in the books since I support that pairing (as friends, not lovers). I cannot stand the scenes where Cedric dies and Harry angsts over Cedric's death.

Not for the Books, but for the movie. When Amos Diggory starts screaming "MY BOY!" I can't help it. I get teary eyed, every time. The actor just did a Damn good job with that scene, it just hits home everytime.

Any of the fights between the trio, and a lot of the Umbridge scenes.

^I love the Umbridge scenes. I get through them by imagining all the different ways I could torture and/or kill her, just using objects JKR mentions in the scene, and the things that would probably be there.

I don't like reading the first chapter of the books, especially the first 3 where it's all like "Harry was not a normal boy, in fact, because he was a wizard, a wizard who was famous" and it does that whole introduction thing. But once you get past the first chapter, the rest is awesome.

I hated that part in the third book when Hermione and Ron stopped being friends. And over a cat. It reminds me of the time when my best friend and I fought over my vagina. I'm not kidding. We seriously almost lost our friendship over that. Stupid vagina.

... + i488.photobucket.com/albums/rr241/GrandChaseGuides/Grand Chase Emotes/gc_35.gif[/img] = MFWR The parts I dread most are...the beginnings. Because OH TEH NOSTALGIA! Forgot to add that I also don't like the sappy/emotionwracking bits. Cuz then I have to barricade myself somewhere so people won't tease meh.

Whenever Harry goes into one of his angst modes in the fifth book. I know he was going through a rough time but I wanted to slap him so hard.
Or, in the sixth book when we learned about Harry's Chest Monster. Yeah. That was interesting.

The romance scenes (minus Cho/Harry moments), as I find they are poorly executed, Ron and Hermione's arguements as they annoy me, and remind me of a friendship of my own, and the epilgoue. I really hated it, but I have this thing that i have to fully read a book, so I never skip it.

I disliked the Sectum Sempra scene as well, but there's only one set of scenes I'll never be able to reread... EVER. See, first time I read Chamber of Secrets, I was in second grade... Any of the basilisk scenes freak me out, but Hermione's petrification has left me permanently terrified of mirrors at night, and the scene when Ginny was taken into the chamber is when I put the book down, realized my aforementioned fear of mirrors at night (The basilisk! It's coming!), and didn't pick up a Harry Potter book again for three years.

I agree Cho always annoyed me, I like it when Harry yelled at her but I hate it when they kiss and when they talk. She has stupid friends too, and that reminds me I don't like that part when Dumbledore's Army gets caught.

Chapter twenty five of OOTP. A Beetle at Bay. Yeah... It's just excessively awkward. But Luna shows up in the end. My heart melted.
