-I like my use of portraying emotion. -How I use silly references to things in my life. -How I write parodies.

-I'm a damn good editor (probably better editor than writer) so it's nice that I can tell what should be cut (if nothing relevant to the plot happens and the character is just going from one certain place to another, delete it), what can be improved, where to add more descriptions, where you should change your tone to set the mood, etc. -I think I've gotten better at creating full rounded characters. -How I write parodies as well Parodies are the easiest and funnest things for me to write.

-I've been told my characterization is strong. I'm good at making likable (in my mind at least) characters and interesting scenerios. -I like my ability to take an idea and run with it. I'll get one idea and I can just let it grow and expand until I have an entire story lined out in my head. -My ability to make the scenerio real for myself. If I really get into what I'm writing, I could swear the people, the places, the scene was taking place around me. It makes writing a whole lot more fun I think. =3

I basically write like Douglas Adams. I love Douglas Adams so I'm fine with this.
I also think I write pretty decent fight scenes. :3

-Apparently I am good at writing in first person - I am able to write dialogue that seems natural and actually flows (this is probably because I usually have myself and another person read it out-loud before I finalize it)

A lot of times I write in body language. A lot. Especially since I've read books on how to read it, so I know all the cues. It makes things more interesting, and I don't have to explain how someone feels by say "X is happy/sad/nervous/etc." =D

- I'm pretty happy with how I write dialogue. It's my favorite part of writing. ^^ - I've been told I'm good at writing conflicted/mentally unstable characters. (I think that's a compliment? xD) - I like my use of emotion/emotive scenes. I feel like they're where my writing is strongest.

Just thought of another.
I am really fucking good at making characters and storylines (backstories, plots, subplots, etc.) with a snap of my fingers...brain. Actually putting them to use...another story entirely (pun not intended).

I love the way I set the mood. Whether it be humor, horror, or drama, I always know how to make people feel during a scene.
Dialogue. My dialogue is pretty realistic for someone who just started to write.
Characters. I pride myself on making characters that you can relate to.
I also like my zany storylines.

My teachers tell me I'm talented....which I still don't know about.
But I guess my writing is a bit darker and more realistic (at times) and I kinda like that.

"What do you like about your writing"...Uh, nothing. Seriously, I can't come up with anything. Unless if page/word count, counts. I used to "pride myself" in being a "competent editor" but I think I'm losing that, seriously, I miss crap all the time, and then bitch at myself about it. /has a bad temper.
But I can say what I hate about it: --> I write too much dialouge and not enough description, but I'm trying to work on that. --> I feel like my characters are still one-dimensional as hell...*sigh*. --> I come up with the weirdest names. While yes, I like weird names, but sometimes...I think I go a tad overboard XD. --> I feel like all of my plots are weak -____-. And I have a feeling that I leave a load of plot-holes all over the place. --> I love horror, but I can never actually write horror, I dislike romance, but it's pretty much the only thing I can seem to write, WTF?
I just suck. /no confidence whatsoever.

Apparently I'm really good at creating balanced characters, and that they seem very realistic. Also people have complimented me on the fact that I'm not afraid to kill people off and swear. So...yeah.

I usually have good spelling and grammar and I know that the one time I showed somebody a little thing I wrote, they said I had atmosphere pegged, so I know I do atmosphere well.
And I always try to make a nice, logical world. When I write, I put a lot of work into theories for anything original I put in so I have a solid understanding of how everything works, whether it be magic or some sci-fi concept.

I like my characters. For the most part, I never feel like they're you know...dull. I feel like I can point to them and find distinct traits and faults.
I like how my first person has improved over time. I was so awful at it and now I think it's getting pretty tolerable. Honestly, it is the hardest POV to write in.
(Off topic, but I have missed you Writer's Circle...it has been a long time).

I like the fact my 1st POV techniue is starting to get better. I still perfer 3rd POV more.
I like how my couples act like realistic couples sometimes when I write them.

I've been told I have a very gritty and realistic voice.
That my characters have good depth and are complex.
That my battlefield scenes are believable and carry across the chaos of battle while remaining easy for the reader to understand.
And that I'm fairly prolific.

Dialogue. For some unknown reason, I really like writing dialogue and I've been told I'm pretty good with it.
Also, worldbuilding.

~I like my use of language. I have a pretty large vocabulary, so when I try I can make words flow very nicely.
~I also like my descriptions. I've been reading a lot of more prosy fiction lately, and I think I've been copying that. I think I manage to make it sound pretty without using purple prose.
~I like that I'm not afraid to hurt my characters. I haven't actually killed a primary character, but I'm willing to give anyone a tragic past, as long as it works.

I can copy other writer's styles 'flawlessly' (as told to me by my AP English teacher.) Personally I don't know. I am a grammar and spelling Nazi and I completely and utterly fail to see how people can mix up Their, There & They're + Where & Were + Your & You're when they're in AP ENGLISH 11. IT MAKES ME RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I understand. I have to fight the urge not to stab someone in the eye with a twig when they get the you're/your thing wrong or when they use commas when they could've quite easily ended the sentence there.
@thread: I like my dialogue. I think I make it quite realistic (most of the time). *tries not to sound big-headed*

@thread: Long ago it was about being funny. I liked to crack jokes and make unintentional puns in my writing. Still do. I'm working on my wanting to wow the reader with surprises/plot twists and how to deliver it.
