All of the Amars from Kuragehime. They are all such hypocrites, they claim that the fashionable people are mean to them, but they in turn are just a mean to them. I know that apparently they get better or else I wouldn't still be reading the manga, but it just bothers me so much about how lazy they are about it!
Tomoki from Sora no Otoshimono. God. This character annoyed me so much that I actually gave up reading the manga. His Perversion was just too much for me to handle. I know that some ecchi manga have a main character who is a little perverted, but Tomoki is the worst kind of character I have ever read about. And you know what? Unlike in some manga where the perverted main character gets over his perversion, HE NEVER GETS OVER IT. I don't understand how he isn't in prison over the things he does, even if he is 14 years old!

^ Yeah, that's it.
Also, I agree with everyone's sentiments about Sasuke. I've always hated characters that act like the entire world is against them, when in reality they're flipping off the world in the first place. He's an immature idiot who just has to avenge something. Sure, forget Naruto is your comrade. Just get pissed cause he happens to be catching up and finally becoming your match.

Shou Tucker (Fullmetal Alchemist)- ...do I even NEED to explain this one? Marianne vi Britannia (Code Geass)- Explaining why would involve spoilers, so let's just say I want to beat the shit out of this bitch. Oh god, seconded.

I don't watch a lot of anime/read a lot of manga, but I've seen/read enough to loathe a few characters.
Rini/Chibiusa from Sailor Moon: I just have always hated her character, especially in the anime. She's a fucking brat who I would be fighting the urge to just throttle about two seconds after I met her. I mean I get it, she's got some extenuating circumstances, but that doesn't excuse her being a little bitch no matter how bad she has it. In the manga she was marginally more tolerable, though I still disliked her. I was cheering when she went back to the future, and then she came back and I was like fuuuuu-. Also, that whole thing about falling in love with a fucking horse is just sick and twisted on so many levels. Not to mention she's, what, eight, nine? Maybe even ten when he kisses her. >.> Just yeah. I hate her, so I'm probably biased. xD
Raye/Rei Hino from Sailor Moon: I hate hate HATE Raye in the anime. In the manga I actually liked her, but in the anime she was such a bitch ALL THE TIME and I still can't stand her. Maybe it's because of that whole thing in the first season when she was sort of dating Darien and I just never got over hating her for that, idk. >.> I mean yeah, Serena's a ditz and deserves a good verbal thrashing now and again, but she deserves a little slack once in a while too! This may be augmented by my love of playing Serena/Sailor Moon on SM role play sites, so again, biased. xD
Maylin/Meiling Li from Cardcaptors: But then, I don't think anyone's SUPPOSED to like her, so I guess it's understandable. She's just in the way of Lee and Sakura in my mind, so I hate her. >.> Though she didn't appear in the manga and I'm only like thirty episodes in to the anime, so she might get better, idk. Her dub-voice is also kinda annoying.
Yui from Fushigi Yugi: I've only read the first fifteen volumes, and it was a while ago so details are fuzzy, all I remember is Yui getting recruited by the other God's forces and turning on Miaka and stealing Tamahome and I was all "BITCH NO YOU DI'INT" and hated her ever since. I actually own one of the volumes and I think it's the one where Miaka gets Tamahome back, haha. And I cry every time. >.> I'm a sap.
And... yeah, really those are the only three manga/anime series I put much time into reading/watching. (Read all of the manga for CCS and SM, and as said fifteen volumes of FY) I've read some of Naruto and seen a lot of Pokemon when I was younger (I pretty much grew up on Pokemon and SM) but not to the point of developing much attachment to the characters. So yeah, that's all I can think of right now. xD

Same here. I wanted to punch Yui repeatedly sometimes when I'm reading Fushigi Yugi. I dread getting to various places with Yui in them in the series, but I still plan on getting all the books.

I'll be fair to Yue. She was being lied to and manipulated by Nakago so he could use Seiryuu's powers for himself
When I think about it some more, I hate the series. It's just one big dumb soap opera with very few characters that are likable. Yue has the idiot/bitch ball thrown at her a few times, but I will always think Miaka is the bigger bitch/dumbasss

>>>>>>>>> HIM He is just plain creepy and annoying I agree with you on this one. Kaname Kuran is simply a douche because I do see simliar things between him and Edward Cullen. Such as keeping Yuuki locked away for a year after turning her or being so overprotective that it's posession, not love. Kaname would've made a better villian than any of the others in the series or gone the yaoi route with Zero.

I hate this fucker. I really do. Maybe it's because my father died when I was very young, but that scene where he tells Mustang that he wasn't crying at Hughes' funeral, but rather shaking with anger because of Elicia's crying pissed me off IMMENSELY. I really wanted Mustang to fry his ass.

I don't read Vampire Knight, but I read somewhere that the heroine is his sister--AND his love interest. This just gives me more of an incentive to hate him. @topic: I don't hate this character, but maybe somewhere along the lines of "annoyed" or "disappointed." I'm ready for pitchforks... I don't hate the actual history of the empire, but the character. There is NOTHING to him at all. All he's got is his affection for little Italy, and...that's it. Himaruya could've done SO much more with this kid. What food does he like? What're his skills? Stuff like that, but nothing of the sort was put into HRE's character. All we got was a blank slate of a love interest.

An anime character that I DESPISE MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE is Kazumi Yoshida from Shakugan no Shana. She acts like a total bitch to Shana, only cares about Yuji's well being, and whose only purpose in the plot is to be the other love interest for Yuji so that there'd be a love triangle. I've only seen the first season (waiting on Funimation for the dub of Shana II), but the only significant thing was when she met that tuner guy (forgot his name) and found out about Flame Hazes, Torches, and the like, and found out that Yuji was a Torch. Even then, this only serves to make her whine about Yuji. She never tries to learn how to fight so that she can protect Yuji like Shana does, she just trusts Shana whenever the world, or what's more important to her, her precious Yuji, is in danger, and then she continues to act like a bitch whenever the fighting stops. YOU ARE AN OUTSIDER, KAZUMI. YOU DO NOT BELONG IN THIS CONFLICT WITH CRIMSON DENIZENS.

@ readerwritergirl: I'll put this under spoilers for you: Kaname is not Yuuki's actual brother but replaced the real Kaname as a baby. This Kaname is actually her ANCESTOR. First of the Kuran line to be exact. The reason why I can't stand him in Hino Canon (I follow a fanfiction author canon more because she does characterization right) is that he is posessive and treats her like a doll. Yuuki is a protector of the school so she needs to fight, right? WRONG! Either Zero or Kaname is there to defend her but Kuran is the worst of them. There was a scene during someone's birthday when he is seen as the guest of honor...and it's not his birthday. So when he offers Yuuki to sit with him, she refuses at first. Then he commands her to and she does it. He put the fear into her and worse, he badmouths Zero in front of her and him. Listen, even if it's squicky incest or grave robbing, take this advice: DON'T DISS YOUR FUTURE LOVER'S FRIENDS. They will not like you and most likely kick your ass.

I actually saw more "chemistry" between Zero and Kaname than between Kaname and Yuki. Maybe it was that biting scene but I am a firm Kaname/Zero shipper.

Dokuro from Bludeoning Angel Dokuro-chan. The living incarnation of psycho girlfriend, her immediate response to anything distressing is to kill her 'boyfriend' with a giant bludgeon, then immediately resurrect him. She frequently tortures the main character, usually to death, and then brings him back to life for more torture! That's just plain fucked up. This is a foolish remark. There are no characters in Dokuro-Chan, for Dokuro-Chan isn't even a series, it's an eldritch abomination that lives within our network and when taking form within the television, is so incomprehensible, that it stems off into something more comprehensible, a horrible television show, however, despite the fact that our minds turn it into something else, either way, it will always induce one thing: Insanity. Well now that I got that out of the way, I'll say that I agree with you, and go beyond it, saying that all of the characters are bad.

He. Is. So. Dull! There is nothing to this character at all! He stands and is invisible. There. done. At least the other nations have some sort of quirk to them that makes them unique. Canada has nothing. Nothing.

Canada has nothing. Nothing. I always thought that being invisible and meek was his quirk. Doesn't change the fact that he's dull. He needs more to his character; South Korea appears less and I think he's a better character. And in response to the "Canada doesn't sway war in people's favour" Canada was a British dominion during the two World Wars and so would have contributed to both wars. Fuck, I think it was the Canadians that scared Hitler! As for "throwing their lot in with America" you could say the same for different countries; Norway throws their lot in with Sweden, Portugal in with Spain, Austria with Germany. Yet all the nations there (except Portugal because there is no Portugal) have more interesting characterisations than Canada. And Norway's barely in it! Anyway, I don't see what makes this character such an Ensemble Darkhorse when there's nothing special about him. Also: She's only appeared in Gakuen Hetalia, right? Why is there such a fan-following for this character?

^Actually she was in a couple of the newer episodes. It's discovered that the island that Germany, Japan, and Italy are stuck on is one of the Seychelles islands. And the reason for the fanfollowing is basically fans want to see more of her in the strips and the anime, as well as the fact that many girls enjoy cosplaying as her.
