The Grand Overlord looked out of his station at the barren world he claims to created. "Terumi." He said, a glance shot at a man in a fedora, "I leave you in command of this station to crush the rebellion." "Eh, why not. It'd let me spread dispair." (You guys do the rebel's start, Sol and GIR really aren't fit for it.)

"Oh come now, Terumi, you have to think better than that," said a voice as he came closer, revealing Walter O'dim, the Man in Black, who was grinning like a madman. "No one's going to submit to the empire if it's all about "being evil and causing suffering"," his voice deepened in a mocking manner when he mentioned being evil and causing suffering.
Randall Flagg loved this game, he wondered if his reverse psychology would work, he did chance angering Terumi, in truth he'd never seen the full magnitude of the fedora wearing man's power, if he intended to kill Flagg, he could just teleport away and wait for Terumi to cool down. He wondered if he should go back to the rebellion, and take the guise as Marten Broadcloak soon, the others might be wondering where he was. In truth, Randall liked being on either both sides of a war, as two separate people, or the one controlling a faction.

((INCOMING WALL!)) Brandon began to pack his supplies for the coming fight in Twili's room, his serious, yet placid look not fading for a single second. Ever since Brianna last contacted them, his combination of inner anger and sadness have left his outside expression perfectly neutral. Once Twili and Bri had finished, they observed Brandon's process, becoming more worried about him each and every moment. Eventually, Bri (though scared as she is) stepped forward to speak with him. "B-Brandon? Can I...talk to you for a moment?" She asked. "Sure, we got plenty of time before we have to leave." Brandon said, his expression unchanged and still packing his things. "Do you think...that we can get Brianna back?" She asked, making Brandon immediately stop. "I-I'm sorry if that made you-" "-No...it's alright. I'm just...I don't know how I should feel about her right now." Brandon said, his face finally showing emotion, but unfortunately one of sadness. "But...do you think we can-" Bri got out. "-We can. It'll take some doing to get her to change her mind...but I know we can do it. But, Bri...I'm GONNA need your help with this. Facing down our sister like this might be scary, but we all have to stare her down sometime. Fighting will be our LAST resort, don't you worry about that." He said, turning away from Bri and holding up his left hand. "I'm not about to have her blood on my hands...I'd never forgive myself for it." At that moment, Twili walked in, moving behind Brandon. "I know I shouldn't ask, but what if it comes to that?" She asked. "Then we'll put defending ourselves way above hurting her. The most we'll do is disable her weapons. Under no circumstances are either of you to strike her beyond that, got it?" Brandon replied. Twili and Bri glanced at each other, thinking that order might not be possible to carry out. "You can count on that, Brandon." Twili answered. Who am I kidding, "don't hurt her beyond that"...that's impossible. We're going to have to...but, we'll find a way to get her back with us. But, Brianna...why, sis? Why not just spar with us like normal? Why go to such drastic measures? Brandon thought as he lead the group into the portal that would take them to the Rebellion base. Brianna paced back and forth in the Overlord's station, waiting for a chance to fight her brother. She perked up when she heard Terumi speak and Walter's comment. "I guess 'subtle' isn't your middle name, huh? Meh...like I care about your methods, anyway. Just tell me what I should do and MAYBE...I might consider doing the job. Long as I can fight Brandon eventually." She said to Terumi.

Randall's ears perked up at this, and he (still as Walter) smiled before turning to Briana with a confused look on his face, "Brandon, who is this Brandon?" The Sorcerer walked closer to Briana, his priest robes and hood obscured most of him accept his expression. "An enemy, it seems like he hurt you alot..."

Brianna looked away, but still answered. "My twin brother. As for what he's done...that's for me to know and you to not care about unless you like being run through, if you know what I mean."

Walter O'dim continued, "So he's a twin of yours. So why are you fighting your brother? For power? The family name? Is it possible that Brandon got some sort of inheritance that you desire? Or did your parents treat him with more respect and loved him while you were neglected?"
Randall loved this game, just incase, Walter took a look at Briana's guns and was ready to transmute it into a toy nerf gun with just a simple thought, if she tried to pull it on him.

"Geez, what are you, some kind of Character Litmus Test?" Brianna said, clearly annoyed. "If you REALLY must know, it's just that I want to fight him. Nothing about family, nothing about taking power, no vengeance or nothing like that. Just to see who is stronger...which I wouldn't count too much as 'for power.'" She looked down, seeing her apparent new weapons. Well, didn't see that I had guns, but if you wanna say I do, I won't complain... She thought, gaining a grin.

((Sorry, I thought she did have some sort of weaponry on her. >.<))
"Ah, to see which is stronger," said Walter, "Well, that's anticlimactic, and a bit redundant." Acting uninterested again, he walked off saying, "I have to take care of a few things." As he walked his black robed body started to form int wings and shrink until the black cloaked man was now a raven.
When he was out of vision he quickly teleported away, taking the physical form of Marten Broadcloak. He appeared in Brandon's room, wearing a simple hoodie and a pair of jeans. On his hoodie was a smiley face button. "Do you need help?" he asked Brandon, a neutral expression on his face.

((Make that Twili's room...and why not give her a simple gun? It could work, but with the sword, only a pistol, how about? By the way, the others are wherever some Rebellion base would be.))
"Huh...people with Laguz-like transformations. How interesting." Brianna said to herself, taking out her sword to repair its durability.
Meanwhile, at the base, the trio noticed the newcomer arrive and immediately ask if they needed assistance. "Uh...sure, I guess. I'm not exactly sure who is gonna be a part of this group yet, but any help would be appreciated." Brandon said, for whatever reason weirded out by the smiley button. Hardly an appropriate accessory for this...but, whatever.

"No, I mean getting ready. I'm Marten Broadcloak, I'm the adviser of sorts," said the Wizard. "I've seen many great kingdoms rise and fall in the past, so I thought I could give my tactical advice to those who still resist tyranny."

"Right...my name's Brandon. My friend over here is Twili and my sister here is Bri." Brandon said, pointing to his companions. "We have another sister named Brianna, but...we have no idea where she is. All she told us is that she wants to fight us." "Nice to meet you, Marten." Twili said, noticing Bri looking away and not speaking. "Uh...we're quite prepared with medical supplies and stuff like that already. Do you think you can be a sort of tactician?" She added, trying to change the subject.

"Say, you don't think you can find Brianna, can you? She looks like Bri, but a lot more hyper-active. I just...don't want to fight her at all." Brandon said, looking down.

Randall Flagg grinned on the inside, this was too good to be true, he didn't have to even bat around the bush.
Marten looked around, 'Why, certainly, is she within the facility? I can put her on some duty like protecting the civilians, something safer."

"Hmm so you're supposed to be the adviser around here?" a figure asked stepping out of the shadows from behind Marten. He snorted, looking him over, "Some half rate spell slinger with a little book of tricks and a few stock speeches up his sleeves. You'll need more than that to win a war." he crossed his arms cocking his head to one side, "Brandon, are you quite done with your packing? Don't you realize we're at war?"
"Ratio." A second figure teleported into the room almost as quickly as Ratio had come. He was a blond with rather short hair and a fair face, "What are you doing here? Ye gods!" he turned to Marten, bowing a bit, "I apologize in advance on my friend's behalf. He doesn't always think before he speaks."
"I do so think before I speak." Ratio glared at the young man, "And I'll tell you I think we could to better than some two trick mage."
The young man rolled his eyes, "Ignore him." he said, "I apologize, again. My name is Seven Serrina. We've been looking for whoever is supposed to be in charge of recruitment in the resistance. We've been rather lost for a while."
Shane Tellerman sat in the middle of the room staring at what appeared to be a man in a fedora, and a second rather dark looking figure. He was drawing circles in the dirt with his finger, looking rather absent. For a member of the Empire, he did look rather out of place. He couldn't have been much more than fourteen years old, and he was a rather slight young child. It would have been difficult to tell that the boy actually possessed the magical power to level a city or two if he wanted to. He didn't really feel like doing something like that right now though. He was much more satisfied with just drawing figures and humming a little tune to himself. He liked singing, and he liked drawing. Those sorts of things took his mind off of the things around him. It made him feel human, feel happy. He liked that.

On the inside, Flagg simply wanted to do his favorite trick, his middle finger trick which gave people heart attacks, but the bastard son of Merlin and the demon goddess knew better.
"Boy, I've lived for a long time, I was there when I saw a boy pull a sword out of a stone, I was there to watch his kingdom rise and fall, I watched the ships sail out westard and into a new world. I watched a revolution happen there and a country rise that would later become one of the great superpowers. I was there when a civil war broke out and brothers were forced to fight one another. I was there when Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was killed, starting a war that encompassed the world. I was there when the Pearl Harbor was bombed, I was there on D-day, I have seen the Vietnam jungles, I assure you, I'm much more then a two trick mage." said Marten.
Some of that was true, he had seen many of those wars, traveling through different universe, and even influenced a few of the events. But Flagg wasn't about to tell them this. The quasi-immortal wizard had better things to do then to one up some man-brat.
Marten then gave a smile, "Recruitment? There's a gathering at the entrance in an hour. You have to sign your name, though."

"Wait, you've seen all of that? From King Arthur all the way to present day...with your own eyes?" Twili asked. "He must be a lot older than he looks. And yes, I've been done, Ratio. No need to be rude about it, geez." Brandon said, rolling his eyes at Ratio. "At least...Seven's nice, right?" Bri said, hiding behind Brandon. "Yeah, he is. Good counter-balance to Ratio, at least." Brandon replied.
Brianna's eyes darted around the room, knowing she saw a familiar face. After seeing that it passed her vision again, she walked forward. Her eyes eventually came upon Shane attempting to entertain himself. "Well, look who it is. Half-Mage here to join the party, already? Well, lease I know someone around here that can keep me from being bored." She said, patting Shane's head.

Deadpool walked into the briefing room, as he did one could hear him hum 'fighty time' over and over. "So!" he exclaimed "What are the plans?" Terumi smirked, "Cause a little destruction, lure that shitty vampire and the rebels out. Kill 'em." "Same old, same old then." Deadpool snarked, perfectly aware Terumi could try to kill him. --- Sol polished Fuuenken as he overheard Bradon and co.'s conversation, "Kid," he said "I'll tag along."

You know, I really hate being this short again.
Well, I wanted to feel like how it was going to be to be tall! So YOU have to deal with being short, since I can't be tall.
That doesn't sound quite right.
I don't care!
Johanna and Johan were fighting once again. They always did- over the most trivial of matters. At least they were usually in full agreement about the big ones.
Currently the duo in one body was walking down the street, a paper in hand. On the mostly crumpled paper was a scrawled address- the place of recruitment for the rebellion, given to them by a bartender the previous night. On the other side was his own address, which they'd accidentally visited first.
They stepped up to a small house, and, with a deep breath, knocked on the door.
Here it goes... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucy stepped into the room where Brianna and a few others were, a cigarette in hand.
"Hey. Is here where we go to sign our allegiance or something?" Lucy stated this in a rather odd way, using her hands in wide sweeping motions.
No, she was not Italian.

Why is hanging out with Deadpool starting to get old now? I'd much rather Shane, at least he can keep his sanity under control. "I think this will be our last time working together for a little while, Deadpool. I need to keep my fights fresh and exciting, and believe it or not, even your tricks can get old...but, I'm sure MvC 3 will revive that in March." Brianna said...totally not advertising said game. "Anyway...shall we, Half-Mage? I mean, we both get to test our skills against our family!" She went on, extending a hand to Shane.
"Hey there, Sol. Didn't bring anyone with you, I guess? Ah well...good to have someone like you with us." Brandon said. "After all, your swordsmanship is quite better than any of ours." Twili noted. "Uh...you're using a lance now, remember?" Brandon said, referring to Twili's Silver Lance, as opposed to his and Bri's Silver Swords. "Well, that's beside the point..." Twili replied, brushing him off.

Ratio snorted, "I didn't ask for your life story now did I?" he asked.
Seven sighed, "We're grateful for your incite." he said, pushing past Ratio, "Our goal in this is really just to figure out what is going on here. One second we were in our home and the next..."
"Cruising about the multiverse again." Ratio grunted, "It's always the multiverse. Don't they know I've got better things to be doing than prancing about other peoples worlds like a lost pup? And now there's this overlord or something thinking he can just walk in an take over the combined universe for himself. Stupid git. Who died and made him king of the multiverse anyway?"
Seven bit his lip, "I ah..." he glanced at Martin, "I think the idea of war makes him excited." he smiled a friendly smile, "Why don't you show us where the rest of your team is. We'd ah.. love to get acquainted. There's another one with us. Ratio's apprentice, Wyatt. He's ah... well he's not like Ratio I can assure you of that."
"Blasted coward he is." Ratio scowled.
"Right." Seven tried to force a grin, "Err... that."
Shane looked up, half of a smile crossing his face, "Hi Brianna." he said, standing and dusting himself off, "Hi Deadpool. Nice to see you again." He approached Flagg, looking him over a few times. He was a rather shady looking fellow who reminded him a bit too much of Clayton. The smile didn't seem to fit him.
He shook his head, "Wyatt is not my family." he said, "My father died a long time ago, and he certainly wasn't a part of the Brotherhood. As far as I'm concerned, if the organization has the Brotherhood's mark on it, I'm not going to be involved with it."
"Who're you?" he asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at the man.

"Yeah...can't do that without actual orders, smart-ass." Brianna snarked, turning back to Shane. Huh...hating Wyatt like that? I'm a bit shocked, but...ah well. If he wants to get sentimental about it eventually, then it'll be fine...but, for now... "Well, you can trace signatures, right? You think you can find whoever Brandon and the others might be palling around with? If you're here, they're bound to have the Brotherhood on his side." Brianna asked. "I'll even help if you wanna get back at 'em. Whaddya say, Shane?"

"We have a plan?" Shane asked, looking a little bored, "I'll follow directions sir, but I've got none to follow. And there's nothing in front of me to kill." he frowned, looking a bit disappointed and went back to doodling in the dirt.
"I don't want to 'get back' at anyone." Shane replied, "My goals aren't just about revenge. The Brotherhood is an organization that causes chaos. Rebellion brings about death and hardship. Their rebellion has nothing to look forward to but chaos if it succeeds, such is the way of the Brotherhood." he closed his eyes, "I'll cut out corruption wherever it resides. After all, life is only deserved by those who respect it, and the Brotherhood never does and never has." he looked up, "For that, they all must die, or at least be made to respect the lives they've taken. One way or the other." He drew his knife and stuck it into the dirt. There was a drawing in the dirt of what appeared to be a long haired, robed man, "Kill the leader, kill them all."

Shane's eyes widened for a moment when the man mentioned raiding cities. That sounded just like the Brotherhood. Just like them. His eyes darkened.
"No." he said at once, "We will not exchange the lives of the innocent for the lives of the guilty. Death must be repaid for death, not to the innocent. That's why the Brotherhood must fall in the first place. Those sorts of institutions never last. They crumble upon the rotten roots they were founded on."

"Very well, then." Brianna said. "Let's go to a different world and stir up trouble there. Brandon and the others will see a portal and drag themselves away from everyone else, possibly dragging the Brotherhood with them. Say...one of your friends looks like someone from Soul Calibur, so...that'll be a perfect distraction! Let's go! TO SOUL CALIBUR!" She added, dragging Shane to a game console and jumping right into the Soul Calibur world.

((Uh...whoops. Well...let's NOT totally rewind time, but make a blooper-type segment instead!))
Brianna's attempt at traveling to the Soul Calibur world was quickly cut short as her dive into the TV only resulted in...well, what a normal dive-into-the-TV maneuver would result in. Head trauma. "Ow...ow...ow...my freaking head hurts..." Brianna said, clutching her head in pain, yet fortunate enough to avoid Shane suffering the same fate as he was nearly dragged with her. "Who's the wise guy, eh!? Cutting me off from...and it was a perfectly good plan, too! FINE, I'll be the reluctant chaos-causer...come on, Shane, let's just track them down and find a town near them. Ye merciful gods on a tricycle, that hurt!"
---
"Alright then, let's sign ourselves up...why we have to do this, I'm not sure, but whatever." Brandon said before leading Twili and Bri to the desk, where they each signed their names. "Alright...what's our first order of business, Marten?"
