It is the year 2017. Seventeen years ago, a catastrophic event known as Second Impact ravaged the Earth, killing off half of the population as waters raised, among other things. Publicly, it wad the result of a meteorite hitting the south pole. However, in reality, it was the result of awakening ADAM, the First Angel, and thus terraforming the land for the Angels. After the crisis, a third world war entitled The Impact War started over a resource panic, lasting from 2000 to 2002. Enter NERV, an international organization answering directly to the UN (in reality, SEELE) to fight the eventual Angelic threat. You are now in Los Angeles-2, Nevada- the rebuilt city replacing the flooded California city- under jurisdiction of NERV America. Little do you know that you are to pilot the weapon against the Angels, sooner than everyone expected.Bio: NAME: AGE: (Between 13-17) APPEARANCE: (Description, Pic, or tek is fine.) PERSONALITY: BACKSTORY: (Parent(s), or at least the mother, must have had to have worked at NERV for story reasons) EVANGELION NUMBER: (choose 01 and up) EVANGELION APPEARANCE: (Description or drawing of it is fine. Drawing should be colored.) EVANGELION WEAPONRY: ( use this as a guide, I can help out if you need it) Helpful links: wiki.evageeks.org/Angelswiki.evageeks.org/Plug_Suitwiki.evageeks.org/Evangelionswiki.evageeks.org/Nervwiki.evageeks.org/Seelewiki.evageeks.org/Second_ImpactYes, I'm trying to do an Evanjellydonut game again (second time, in fact- one that never made it beyond OOC here and one that crashed and burned because of too few players on another site). Because I think an Evangelion game would be fun .

I might do this.
But I don't know.
It's been drilled into my brain that making OC EVA Children is a big no no. >_<;

OC or Gendo?

OC that would fill Gendo's role. Also OCs that would fill some of the other roles(Hey, should I have Roger again? Generic Agent in Suit sorta guy).
I was told that while it's cool I play the children, I'm not allowed to play Gendo, or someone like him only worse. Really, I don't see how I could do worse... but it would be a challenge to accept...
Anyway, is "Kicker" suitable to recycle?

NAME: Medeia Eris AGE: 34 APPEARANCE: A pale skinned woman, with dark red hair, cut short, black eyes, wears a NERV Commander uniform. PERSONALITY: Commander Eris is cunning and ruthless, but also keeps good relations with her staff and employees, if only so that they're more willing to follow her down whatever path she decides to go. In reality, when push comes to shove, the only people she cares about are herself, and her son, whom she keeps far away from her work and in a private school. BACKSTORY: Medeia Eris was Seventeen years old when Second Impact occurred. She lived in a coastal region, and was one of only three survivors of her whole county, the other two dying along the way to find other survivors. In the first two years after the Impact, she joined a small army that had seized control of a territory in the Borreal Forests of Canada, and in that time span, rose up to become their leader. She ruled as a warlord for a good five years, trying to keep a community about her soldiers and the refugees that lived in her territory until her territory was besieged for two months by the UN, who instigated a massacre, killing not just soldiers, but any refugees, seeing them as rebels. Medeia was captured, and thrown into prison for three years, at the end of the three years, she was given a chance to be released from prison and be given a job as Director of Operations of NERV. Afterwards, she spent the next six years crawling towards the top, and after revealing the former Commander using vast amounts of NERV funding for project EVA on leisurely things such as prostitutes, new cars, boats, and even a new house to the Comity, he was forced to resign and Medeia took command of NERV.
In the single year she's been in charge, Commander Eris has made progress at a much faster rate then her predecessor had, and has been able to make up for the former commander's mistakes and actually make it on schedule for the most part, that was, until the scenario started earlier then expected.
Outside of NERV, Medeia married and had a child around the time her husband died in a car accident, she sent the boy to a private school halfway across the country as to keep him safe and avoid any complications. She regularly checks in on him, though through private video chats and phone calls.

I was told that while it's cool I play the children, I'm not allowed to play Gendo, or someone like him only worse. Really, I don't see how I could do worse... but it would be a challenge to accept... Knowing you, Per, we'd probably end up with Gendo, but somehow even creepier. And yeah, feel free to recycle your characters, you two. @prime: You probably should be aware that this won't be nearly as dark as the series, mostly since we'd either do a lack luster job or somehow do it too good. Think 'Evangelion + a semi-self-aware sense of humor' and you basically an idea.

This has nothing to do with this game (or does it?), but I thought it was a neat video and should post it.

((Straight out copy from the previous attempt.))
NAME: Brian Jones AGE: 16 APPEARANCE: Dark brown hair, cut short and combed back until it spikes a little. Brown eyes, light skin(though his heritage seems to want to tint it a yellowish). Athletic wiry build. Yes, it's Kicker from Transformers Energon. Modifications to Kickers space suit(armor becomes less pronounced) will make the plug suit(therefore it's black based, white sections, with blue and red highlights)
PERSONALITY: "Don't hurt me..." Brian Jr. does not fully understand other people. He has a hard time reading others emotions, and will often flinch away from even the gentlest contact, automatically assuming aggression is being directed at him. He has a very strongly honed sense of fight or flight, and when given a choice would pick flight every time. That is not to say he hasn't had his fair share of fights. At the orphanage he placed several bullies who pushed him too far in the hospital, going so far as to put the biggest one in for broken bones and a cracked skull from being not just thrown down the stairwell, but ridden down so Brian could continue beating on the larger boy after hitting bottom. Brian primarily seeks solitude, and if given a choice would become a shut in, never leaving his home. He is known to have panic attacks if in the presence of too many people and will publicly curl up into a sobbing ball if confronted with even a crowded subway car(He would be willing to commute several hours, on foot, to avoid public transit). Despite these handicaps, he's displayed impressive skills, picking up various disciplines and if remaining in his comfort zone demonstrating incredible intelligence and creativity, as well as physical ability. Getting him to demonstrate these abilities outside of his (very narrow) comfort zone however and you start skirting the line between a breakdown, or a backlash. He has no respect for authority, instead maintaining a fear and hatred of it.
BACKSTORY: Brian Jones Jr.s parents were not the best. Abusively neglectful of his safety could be an apt description. While they both loved him dearly, and did what they could to provide a healthy happy life, some of the memories that stand out most in the young Brian's mind are when he was hiking with his father, got separated, and spent three days lost and huddling under a rocky outcropping until some other hikers spotted him. His father hadn't noticed that he had wandered off. Or when he went scuba diving with his mother, and his air hose had become compromised, nearly leaving him to drown as he sank into the black abyss, while his mother assisted a NERV recovery team with a ship wreck. Both parents worked quite closely with NERV, primarily with engineering and research, but officially died in the line of duty, leaving their son at an orphanage where he forgot about his connection to NERV, and missed the good times with his parents(They did love him and treat him well, when they remembered he was there). Never particularly social, and possibly with a very mild case of functional autism(so mild as to remain undiagnosed), young Brian was tormented often to the breaking point. Most bullies who preyed on him however discovered his breaking point and either maintained a lower level of torment, or developed a healthy respect for him. Despite this, he was considered a problem child by those in authority. This may make motivating him to pilot... difficult.
EVANGELION NUMBER: SL14 "Fourth Tens Number Machine". The designation's meaning does not follow a direct numbering system(and an official numbering can be given when we know how many other players will have EVA).
EVANGELION APPEARANCE: Armor plating has a somewhat more organic lines to it, curving and inspiring an insect style. Heavily armored chest plate, in fact most of the body seems more heavily armored than a standard EVA though not causing a decrease in flexibility. Shoulder pylons which slant back(standing properly upright when the EVA assumes a more hunched stance). The head is round, with insect eye like sensor grids mounted on the sides of the top, while primary eyes, a sort of jeweled lens in the center of the forehead and a large helmet spicule extending up. The mouth is also insect inspired, like there are three mouth parts(obviously sealed together) the side two being vents that sometimes release vapors. The armor parts, including shoulder pylons and most of the helmet are a soft eggshell blue-grey. The more flexible under layer being dark bluegreen. A few markings in black and red have been painted on the pylons and other key points, but the model is primarily monochromatic. ((look up Guyver for a good idea of the look I'm going for))
EVANGELION WEAPONRY: The forearm plates are intended for extensive combat, being used to block or strike like a tonfa or armored gauntlet, and extend back with a prog knife style blade mounted off the elbows. Additionally the sensor systems mounted in the forehead could potentially produce a laser suitable to deal damage, though it's purely intended as a laser marker or targeting assistant. Likewise the speaker system could cause property damage when used at full volume, but is not intended as a weapon but rather a public safety feature. The Evangelion is still capable of utilizing the traditional pallet gun, or other weapons, but there is no special weaponry intended for this model. The model is designed primarily for extended duration scouting uses, with higher durability for hostile terrain and higher level sensory capabilities at the cost of ranged offensive capability.
NOTES: One or both of his parents may still be alive and working for NERV if the story calls for it. Brian Sr. and Miranda were probably hurt at the loss of their son, but aren't exactly normal people to begin with, and would act like they've completely forgotten him by now. SL14's pilot interface can be overwhelmed with unexpected sensory input spikes, such as flashes of bright light or loud noise, which are transferred entirely to the pilot and cause them intense pain. The systems tend to 'deaden' expected input spikes, polarizing the view and tuning out loud noises, but it is less effective than other EVA units. Brian Jr. theoretically has an exceptionally powerful A.T. field, potentially the most powerful recorded to date.
