The furry fandom. The unconditional and irreversible loathing they get from absolutely everyone who isn't them is just fucking retarded.Furry hate is incredibly old and grating now. Just leave them alone. Furry isn't synonymous with obsessive yiffer who wants to fuck animals. No, those guys are called insane and/or zoophiles. A furry, on the other hand, is someone who likes anthropomorphic animals. Furries are not wolfaboos, either. Some wolfaboos may be furries, but that doesn't mean they are accepted. Everyone hates wolfaboos, but there's a reason for that. Just ugh. Furries haven't wronged you, majority of anon. Quit picking on them already. You can't always use them as a scapegoat, so just fucking stop. I agree with this. And it's exactly how I feel about people who hate on young girls for liking Justin Bieber.

I'm not speaking for 4chan or anything, but the reason why you guys get so much hate is because of how much you force your *cough* personal tastes on other people. You can get off on/roleplay whatever you want, I don't give a flying fuck. But you start talking about how you are a furry constantly and everyone who doesn't like this is a nazi. Seriously, it's fucking annoying and I'm tired of it. The way I understand it, you leave us alone, we leave you alone.
And don't even get me started about how furries "aren't intrinsically sexual" BECAUSE YES THEY FUCKING ARE HRHRHGRHHGR
EDIT: also, part of it may come from how easy you guys are to troll.

Poking fun at my own fandoms and other fandoms. It's all serious business with them. People cry over, that ZOMG someone pointed out a flaw! Me, I laugh and agree if the flaw is correct. I wish people would take a joke for once. FURRY FANDOM, I'm looking straight at your ass! And not in that way. This. Someone accused me of not liking HP because I look for plot holes in them.

This as well, because some days your tired of poking fun at things you hate and feel like you're beating aound a dead horse. There are times when you enjoy poking fun at things you like. Some people just need to lighten up a bit and learn to laugh. - I second Lynsey who said rain. - Thunderstorms. I love a good storm with loud thunder and fashing lighting. It's just...so relaxing to me. - Mustard. It's a mandatory condiment for me. - Teachers. I never saw the point in being a total prick them and blaming them for your faults that you caused. Most teachers are just trying to help you and there's no need to be an ungrateful jackass.

I used to be, for a really short time, but I grew out of it. 2) Perhaps I'm blind, but when have furries forced their tastes on other people? Besides, don't many people do that? It's not as if they don't get their fair share of hate from everyone who isn't them, either. But, again, some furries aren't like that. Alas, this number is painfully small, or perhaps they're just not vocal about it? I haven't checked around any predominately furry or furries-who-get-trolled parts of the web, so I'm not sure just how often someone would mention they were furry outside of some furry-specific forum. Those with brains would know to treat others how they want to be treated, but alas, again, the furry fandom still has a little bit of growing up to do. The painfully vast majority of them. A lot of them are. It shouldn't be that way, but a lot of them are.
Amen to that, though. @sir Chaos: Honestly, I expected you to type up a huge roaring rampage of pure furry-based rage, but you didn't, and you agreed with this, which is actually less hateful than most antifurs or whatever they're called. Even if we disagree on a few things (namely furries), I still love you, too.

I don't hate all furries, just the ones I mentioned in my last post in this thread. But we should just cool it and drop the subject and not get off topic. If someone wants to talk about or debate(in a civil manner) about furries, that should be made in it's own thread.
Alright let's see. I like JRPGs, but they get a lot of flak. I still like them and prefer them over shooters any day.
Not looking for a boyfriend/girlfriend. I actually prefer being single. It's easier for me, to have fun for myself, not get cheated on, not being suspected of cheating when going out for like four hours, easier to focus on school. But that's just me and my opinion.

And it's cool, we still bros
EDIT: This sort of fits in with the "making fun of your own fandom" thing, but am I the only one who likes RPGs and FPSs? Seriously, I hang around on a lot of RPG forums, and only on one of them am I not looked down upon for liking FPSs.

Apparently, I am one of only a few that absolutely love it when we end up with school, and it snows at school. It's just amazing.

Cranberries! I also like reading books that aren't popular like Ethan Frome. Ahhh, read Ethan Frome in English class. Good, but depressing. The movie, however, was boring as hell.

These, except maybe thunderstorms. We hardly ever get thunderstorms up here, so I just don't really have an opinion on them. I guess the clouds look kind of pretty. -This one 1980s song we listened to in Japanese class, "Kawa no Nagare no You ni" [Like the Flow of the River]. (Okay so it's isolated to that one class. The Harry Potter movies. Really, my only disappointment in them was the burrow-burning scene. Also, I liked the epilogue.

A lot of people on this board mentioned reading. I can tell this is a forum full of intelligent people who aren't drawn to shallow pleasures. Besides reading for me, I'd say:
-Tuna, or a lot of seafood for that matter -Broccoli and vegetables -Laughing at everything and making fun of everything, including things I like -Not being the prettiest girl ever -Not having a lot of attention or taking about my personal life extensively -Playing Wii and the DS -Comic books, graphic novels, and manga (I know a lot of people here like that stuff, I'm talking about people I see every day) -Rain and cold weather -Blatantly honest jokes that are a little (or extremely) insensitive until you get used to them -Writing about things other than my life -House music -Listening to other peoples' seemingly insignificant details: even if I don't like to talk about little things in my life, I at least listen to other people talk about the little things in their life, the things other people would just ignore unless they were really close to the person. I find them interesting sometimes, and they make for good conversation since everyone loves to talk about themself (myself included, sometimes)

Seeing all sides of an issue. Too many people I know stick with their opinion that is based purely on emotion, and they are just blatantly unwilling to see it from any other point of view.

Actually appreciating life.
Seriously, all I hear from my friends and acquaintances is that their life sucks because they hate their family and/or parents all because a few things happened in their life to make them unhappy. Out of all my close friends I'm the only one who still has their parents together, so it's really quite sad to just hear them bitch all the time when I'm actually having support from my parents.
In my perspective I have a pretty awesome life compared to them, yet I still appreciate what I have because I feel pretty fucking lucky to still have my parents cooperating and loving one another. That and I just don't want anything from anyone. I don't need anything
My friends' life may suck, but the least they can do is have a positive outlook occasionally. They're really starting to put me down when I'm upbeat.

^ I hate when people say their life sucks, when it really doesn't. Some people have no idea how lucky they really are. My sister constantly whines about how "fat and ugly" she is, and how she "should just kill herself." It's so goddman annoying.
On topic: 3D animation.

FUUUUUUUU- This used to make me rage SO hard in high school. Growing up in a funeral home, I've seen people of all ages die and families of all sorts devastated from it, and every time I had to listen to some bratty fuck bitch about how they hated mommy and daddy for not buying them shit, I just wanted to launch into this huge "Be glad they're not dead you unappreciative little cockbite" speech.

Strict or emotionally distant teachers. My friends from choir last year (only the ones who'd been in it for all three years of middle school) constantly whine about how much our old teacher sucked and how awesome our long-term substitute was. I want to smack them and remind them that they learned everything they know about music from her, and the only reason we sounded good was because she was strict, pointed out our mistakes, and didn't play favorites. Yes, the sub was fun as hell, but she didn't teach us as much as the real teacher and we didn't sound as good under her direction. /rant

And more oft then not are intensely interested in said subject which means they're passionate. Or at least, I mean that's the kind I like if I've deviated too much. But ya. I like gardening actually. Yeah, that hardcore shiet, I can see myself doing a lighter version of. >>

Might as well have this thread back too.
-Glee. Well, most people on TS seem to hate it, at least. -Ginny Weasley. And Harry/Ginny. I also loved the DH epilogue. -The Office -My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. People in real life seem to hate it for some reason. Or they judge me just because I like a MLP show... -History

Anyway: *Cold weather, as opposed to warm weather. *Chickens (they aren't really hated- people just don't think much of them). *Anything to do with Pokemon after the first generation (although this is more real life, since online the newer gens have fans; also, may no longer apply considering the line I had to sit in to get B/W). *Instrumental music (prefer it to vocal, usually).
