The goth subculture. Not the pathetic Hot Topic fauxgoth(no, Tara Gilesbie is not an accurate representation of the average goth)but real goth, essentially a dark and twisted version of Victorian fashion.(think Emilie Autumn or Sharon den Adel) Is Emilie Autumn even "real goth" in the strictest sense of the term? I realize that the definition of "goth" has been stretched to include everything that feels Burton-esque for a while and all, but I always thought "real goth" refered specifically to the dark post-punk culture and bands like Bahaus, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, etc. That's what goth was originally all about. Dark post-punk. Now, I don't know and I don't care whether EA is tru goffick or not, but old school first wave goth was pretty damn cool. Post-punk (which was already way cool on its own) mixed with a dash of dark theatricality? Yes pls. Faith by The Cure, In the Flat Field by Bauhaus and Juju by Siouxsie and the Banshees are all favorite albums of mine. I don't care much about the subculture though.

When I think "real Goth", I think Cathedrals of the 1400s with stone gargoyles.

Apparently, I am the only person I know that likes to eat things with FAT in them. I swear, if I see one more reduced-fat Butter, Bacon, or Cheese, I'm gonna SCREAM. What's the point of these things if they do not contain fat, cause if it don't got fat, it don't got flavor! Oh my gosh fatless cheese is the most horrible thing on the planet. I am more than happy to have everything else with no fat but I didn't realise when my mom left home that we were going to be stuck with my dad and his nasty fatless cheese.

Dark chocolate and bacon. Yes, like in a candy bar. There's a store in my city that sells all kinds of insane, weird, and foreign chocolates, including dark chocolate with bacon bits, chocolate with spicy pepper in it, and 98% cocoa dark chocolate.
Those giant, grease-soaked fast food places (Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Taco Bell, 5 Guys, etc.). Do I think they have good food? No. Do I feel good after eating there? Hell no. But sometimes when you've had a crappy day it feels good to just pig out and eat something that can barely legally be called food. But I really can't stand Wendy's. I don't know why.

Who the hell hates bacon? I love the smell, but hate the texture because you get huge chunks of fat and I think that's gross. I feel the same way about oysters - delicious, but the texture makes me want to hurl. On-topic, I don't mind real-person fic. For one, it's not like anyone actually knows who they're writing about personally, so most of ends up as In Name Only fic.

Who the hell hates bacon? *Raises hand* Me....XD 'Cause I'm weird like that. Honestly though, I just never liked it. Wrong thread for that, though. XD On topic: ~Honesty. There is such a thing as being honest in a good way. ~The Lion King 1/2. I really never understood why so many people seem to hate it. O.o Oh well, opinions differ. But I definitely love it, I really do. <3 ~"Snitching". Hey! I saw you put that thumbtack on the teacher's chair, you jerk! You're not getting off easy! If you didn't want detention in the first place, here's an idea: Don't pull stupid stunts that will get you in trouble! That never actually happened. It was just an example.

^I loved Lion King 1/2 too. It was adorable and pretty funny, even if it wasn't a masterpiece.
Also agreeing with dark chocolate. I love it much, MUCH more than milk chocolate. It's so sweet...

No, it wasn't a masterpiece and definitely not holding a candle to the original, but it still is a very enjoyable and adorable film I love very much. It was, to me, a good sequel. Or midquel, since it technically takes place during the first movie. XD

Encyclopædia Dramatica and 4chan. It's great stuff if you aren't anal retentive and can actually do things for the lulz.

Yeah, when I was younger I was reasonably into a lot of Bauhaus, Christian Death, Sisters of Mercy, Switchblade Symphony, Fields of Nephilim, etc. but I haven't really listened to them much in a while. I should break out some "Floodland" again one of these days. I can't say much about goth culture itself besides I've always had a tragic weakness for scene goth girls.

I'm 22 and I still snitch all the time LOL. I just think it's funny to get people in trouble but for like small things. I tell my mum anything my brother does. Like 'who broke this dish?' 'Jordan did it!' xD

Fast food restaurants. Yes, they may be unhealthy, but some places are fucking delicious.
The metalcore genre. I love post-hardcore, and I love metal. Fusing the two together is like mixing chocolate with peanut butter: One tasty treat.
Cloverfield. I don't care if it made you sick. Cry moar. Okay, not really. But I still think it's an amazing movie.

Encyclopædia Dramatica and 4chan. It's great stuff if you aren't anal retentive and can actually do things for the lulz. The problem, however, lies with the site having become unfunny shortly after conception, just like every meme they've made popular. Still fun to use on occasion, but not in any way original.
And doing things for the lulz on occasion might be all well and good, but there are times when one needs to grow up.

^of course, and that's why everyone needs to remember not to take the internet seriously. Raids on a site for epilepsy? not cool. But raids on gaia? why the fuck not. Using memes more than once per person? not cool. Rickrolling a site once? why the fuck not. It's great to give in to the blackest of humor on a shitty day all alone in your room. Plus when chatting on the same boards it's all fine... <.< but i will admit /b/tards or EDiots straying from home sites in herds will always be a problem.

Not take the internet as a whole seriously, perhaps. But there are decently-sized portions that should be taken seriously. These just don't happen to be on the majority of blogs or most "social media" sites like tumblr, twitter, and so on, of course.

...that, and I don't care for either site because I find them to be horribly unfunny. Only amusing thing I found about ED was the articles they had about Project Chanology.

John Calvin. Few theologians have understood the Christian faith from a position of systematic theology better than him, and few people in general seem to understand the human condition as well as he did.

Because at my school, Hot Cheetos are friggin' everywhere and everyone seems to love them. There are actually kids who walk around campus selling packs of the stuff to other students. So yeah, the thought of a world where most people hate Hot Cheetos boggles my mind. I personally never liked them though; they make my mouth burn.

Going back a bit..
Who the hell hates bacon? I think it was more about the combination of bacon and dark chocolate in a candy bar.
I love bacon, but I strongly dislike dark chocolate, so I likely wouldn't enjoy such a candy bar.

One thing I liked was Sprite Remix, that little experiment that coca-cola tried at the turn of the century. Gave me nasty breath but damn it was good.

I like the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.
