Somewhat based on the MMO game from Kongregate, Game of Thrones: Ascent. The premise of the game is simple and bears similarities to Pottermore. You make a character and play the Game of Thrones throughout the timeline of the books. That's the game's plotline at least.
This will be a bit different.
In this one, you are the Sworn Swords. Warriors of various walks of life who carry out tasks as commanded by the noble they've sworn loyalty to. Admittedly, this rp will work similar to the RPU Lounge one (post a profile and jump right to the action) but there will be instances where I as the Noble/GM will entrust certain Sworn Swords to carry out a task or other. The outcome of the venture, of course, depends on the actions taken by said OCs. It goes without saying that some quests will likely be borrowed from Ascent. You can also fill out sheets for characters that might not be Sworn Swords but these will need to be sent via PM and possibly include some kind of storyline, etc.
Without further ado, time to introduce the GM:
The House you'll be serving:
Notable NPCs:
Ser Hugo Flynt: Captain of the Guard. Oversees security in Sand Drake's Vigil and its territory. Has the distinction of being Lady Sands' first Sworn Sword and having served her the longest, his service spanning back to her sellsword days.
Rona Grey: Spymaster. She keeps an ear out for any and all information that would be of use to Lady Sands. Has some grudge against Varys the Spider. On a sidenote, Lady Sands is of the opinion she and Hugo would make a lovely couple.
Simon Groat: The Bailiff of Sand Drake's Vigil. His approaches to problems can be somewhat shady, which suits Lady Sands well enough.
Alvyn of Oldtown: He handles the trade in the Crossroads. An honest man.
Septa Eleanor: Keeper of the Sept and priestess of the Seven in Sand Drake's Keep. A nice, well-meaning woman. While Lady Sands doesn't worship the Seven, she allows her to stay on and practice her religion.
Maester Lucas: The Maester of Sand Drake's vigil.
Kirth Sands: Alayna's cousin, a wandering minstrel. Dealings have been awkward between them in the past, from his attempts to borrow silver from her to the one time he tried to seduce her late husband into his bed while he was drunk, an incident many would like to pretend never happened. They seem to have made amends, though Lady Sands remains leery of it for good reason.
Gammer Wilde: An old, probably mad, woman who sleeps and tends to the Godswood at Sand Drake's Vigil. It is unclear as to why Alayna took her in, though it could be said that her reasons are one part pity and one part belief in the ways of the First Men.
AND FINALLY...The character profile skeleton. Feel free to use the ASoIaF wiki if you need help with it:

Name: Alayna Sands
Rank: Noble
Family: House Sands
Backstory: A Highborn bastard out of Dorne, Alayna set out to make her mark on Westeros, lending her services as a sellsword and managing quite well despite the stigma that sellswords are considered untrustworthy. Eventually her efforts ultimately paid off when on orders of the Hand, she succeeded in capturing Ascent Hold, a fortress in the Crossroads region of Westeros, from slavers. Not long after, she was made a Noble in her own right, and given Ascent Hold (which she renamed Sand Drake's Vigil) as her seat of government while the Crossroads became her domain. At one point she was married but it was rather short-lived and currently she's a childless widow concerned only with the running of her Hold and her own agendas. While certainly the issue of a Martell, she was instead raised at the home of one of House Martell's bannermen, Elias Saador.
