"Aw, look at you being a punk bitch and all." Lena teased the boy, walking over to the boy and wrapping her arm around the boy's neck, pulling him into her chest and planting her lips on his forehead, running her hand through his hair to mess it up. "Titta på dig själv, härlig pojke."
Smiling, she allowed him his freedom, looking between the two.
"You're right, though. She is your Woman and you are her Man." She continued. "But you are equals and you are in love."
The eldest of the Jones Brothers pulled his head away from his coffee, pulling his hooded jumper from his face to look at the group's 'leader', taking a sip of his coffee and looking at the others before he opened his mouth to actually speak.
"Not much." He added, his voice a quiet rumble. "A few... incidents, sightings. People seeing things. That's about it."
The youngest of the Brothers wrapped his gloved fingers around his coffee mug, his heavy jumper wrapped tight around his tattooed body, not looking the man in the eyes. It was the voice. It wasn't right. It wasn't natural. He couldn't look the man in the eyes.

Liz snorted. "Okay Goods. Chris, you got anything going on today?" "Uhhhhh, nothing beyond checking in on Willow and Ryan." The man shrugged, trying to pop his right shoulder. "But I figured I'd see them as soon as something batshit happens with.... Whatsherface." Chris tried to remember Ryan's girlfriend's name, but it just wasn't happening, no matter how simple her name may have been. "Completely understandable," Lucy gave a small laugh at her relief, "From what you've told me, your mom has freaking impossibly high standards for you." "I mean, don't get me wrong, I get why she does..." Carrie took a careful sip of her drink to calm her nerves, "It's not like I'm not a ticking timebomb of talent half the time, it just... gets aggravating, especially when my grandma gets in on it too." The blonde boy leaned down from his perch and quietly whispered to his girlfriend, "You're famous?" "Just a little." May whispered back, leaning over to Ryan in turn. "Something about my Nana Eloise and mom and maybe my sister being world class empaths. Raked in money and... I guess, fame or infamy."

"Her name's May, Chris," Liz snorted. "And hopefully, nothing bad'll happen today. Her family's over."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Yeah, and everyone's over right now... I understand." The girl sighed, leaning forward to rest her head on her hands. "I'm lucky, my parents don't nag or anything. Hell, most of the time, they're just... busy."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The boy's overexcited laughs finally ceased when May replied to him. He quickly fixed his hair, covering back up his scar, and stared at her.
"Holy cats, May...."

Kyle took a deep breath trying to calm himself as he gazed at the error message. His phone came to his hand from it's holster.
"Tech department."
"Eddie, it's Kyle."
"Hey Kyle, need something?"
"I'm trying to do my time sheet and my password isn't working."
"Why are you trying to do your timesheet?" Eddie asked, a trace of nervousness in his voice. "You don't need to do your timesheet."
"We're supposed to fill out a timesheet every day." Kyle said. It was company policy after all, even if it was never enforced and everyone just filled them out at the end of the week. "So what's wrong with my password?"
"Your timesheet's only due at the end of each week. You should be fine."
"Eddie." Kyle repeated, feeling a little too tired to put effort into displaying his annoyance. "Password."
"Okay, okay, hang on a moment, you're at your terminal right?" Eddie took over the computer remotely from his little IT desk. "There you go, you're all logged in now, should be fine."
"And what about my password?"
"You shouldn't need it now, you're already logged in."
"I need my password every time I work on an alarm system. Any time I'm out on a job. It's how the company tracks where I am and what work I'm doing. It's kinda something I need to do my job."
"Oh. Well, did you change your password last week?"
"Yes." Again, company policy. Passwords change start of every month. Also something that wasn't often followed through with. And they knew he changed his password, since they had to reset it to something they knew. Which is why Kyle's password wasn't working now.
"You know sometimes, if you don't change your password on time, the system does it automatically. Try using some of the defaults. Have you tried Alarm123?" It was the default they had installed in the system, any time it reset, it would reset to that.
"Yes." Kyle replied. "Look, my password was working for two days after I changed it, and it should have been another month before it needed to be changed again. Look, I'm filling out the paperwork now, explaining what trouble I'm having..."
"No!" Eddie said. "Ah... I mean, look, I can just reset the password. Easy. There you go. Alarm123. See, you're in. Now change your password to anything you want."
"Okay, fine." Kyle sighed, glancing over at his kit. It had a standard voltmeter, a leatherman tool, and other understandable and acceptable tools... plus a medicine pouch with a small leather bag with 'magic chicken bones', a crystal on a string, and a pair of very intricately carved sticks. If it hadn't been for the company policy of using proper channels and never working on something that you weren't supposed to work on(because then you'd be liable if something went wrong, which was in many peoples eyes worse than things actually going wrong) Kyle knew full well he could use divinition and crack any code or password he needed cracked. Hell, he could make the outdated floppy disk drive play the theme to Legend of Zelda while the mouse chased around the room attacking things with it's cord if he put half an effort into enchanting these things. Not that he ever had at work. That kind of thing would get you fired, if not blacklisted. Policy said that if he was having trouble though, he should call the IT section. "Thanks Eddie."
"Uh... yeah. No problem." Eddie said. "No need to fill out that paperwork now, right?"
Kyle paused for a moment or two and finally sighed. "Yeah, right." He agreed.
"Cool. Call me if you need anything else."
"Will do." Kyle hung up the phone and sighed again, a side effect of the deep breathing he figured. He changed his password, finished his timesheet and then glanced at the paperwork to complain about his password trouble. If someone had stolen his password then they could frame him for practically anything that happened to the alarm systems the company worked on. Museum, bank, jewelry, pharmacy... he'd never worked on any of those alarms of course, he focused mostly on the fire alarms for schools and public buildings like the library or DMV, but still, the company covered it.
With a groan he filled out the 'cover your ass' papertrail and sent it off anyway, even if it was just more work for him, and Eddie, and anyone else in the tech department. His supervisor really wouldn't like this at all. One more sign of him 'causing trouble'.

"Her name's May, Chris," Liz snorted. "And hopefully, nothing bad'll happen today. Her family's over." "Look, man," Chris replied, turning to look Elizabeth in the eyes. "Something bad always happens whenever this shit's involved. Especially if they're kinda... offbeat." He paused for a second. "...No offense, Goody." "Yeah, and everyone's over right now... I understand." The girl sighed, leaning forward to rest her head on her hands. "I'm lucky, my parents don't nag or anything. Hell, most of the time, they're just... busy." "At least they don't nag you when they're not busy..." Caroline repeated with an ever-so-slightly bitter tone, sipping on her drink again. The boy's overexcited laughs finally ceased when May replied to him. He quickly fixed his hair, covering back up his scar, and stared at her. "Holy cats, May...." The brunette just balled up further in response, out of her normal habit when she was nervous. She didn't take it well, really.

"Well, her parents are well-versed in this crap. I trust 'em," Liz replied, crossing her arms and moving to stand next to Goody.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Nah, they don't," she agreed, nodding. "And I mean, at least they come to the science fair and stuff. I don't really have a whole lot of room to complain."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh, sorry," the boy quickly moved to be sitting normally then. He knew she didn't really like being put on the spot, at least not like that.
"So," Harley brightened everything back up then, "You're all witches! What do you all study?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"OF COURSE YOU DON'T," the man sighed, examining his nails boredly. "IN ANY CASE, THERE HAVE BEEN SOME... ADVANCEMENTS." A grin came to his face, and he turned to the rest of the group once more. "AN OLD COLL-"
A server boy came by then, ramming the tray into the back of the man's head. Rubbing the spot furiously, with the bubble now gone, he bellowed out in a... strangely normal voice, "Hey, watch it, pal!"
Returning to the group and taking a few seconds to return the magical enchantments around them, he started again.
"AN OLD COLLEAGUE OF MINE HAS RECENTLY RETURNED. A FEW OF YOU MAY KNOW HER, OR PERHAPS HER DAUGHTER, AS BEING VERY WELL-KNOWN EMPATHS IN EUROPE. THEY, AT THIS MOMENT, DO NOT KNOW OF OUR MEETINGS OR OUR LITTLE GROUP AT ALL."
Polaroids were taken out of his jacket and set in the middle of the table for the others to look at.
"I WANT THEM TO BE FOUND AND BROUGHT TO OUR NEXT MEETING, USING WHATEVER MEANS YOU DEEM NECESSARY. I TRUST YOU CAN ALL HANDLE THAT."
"Tattoo magic." Lena said, interlocking her slender, tattooed fingers over her coffee mug to maintain warmth as she settled in quietly next to Ryan, attempting to calm herself. She flung her legs up and over, resting them on his lap. "Sometimes on a full moon, I turn into a guy and murder prostitutes. But mostly tattoo magic."
Reaching out, Tobias took one of the pictures in one of his massive, tattooed hands. On inspection, one could easily note the amount of callouses over his knuckles. He rummaged through the others, handing one off to his brother.
"Easy." He muttered to his brother. He cupped him around the neck playfully, causing his brother to tense slightly before he took the photo in his own hands. Looking closely, the younger of the Brothers had what looked like metal meshing woven through his skin. "In and out. No blood."
"Why... why do we need to do this?" He asked, looking at the photo but not the man he was asking the question to. He threw it back into the center of the table. "Kidnapping? Blackmailing? Why not just... send an envoy? One of us. Someone who isn't prone to violence."
Amrita side eyed Lena and then responded to Harley, "I can control the wind. It has it's uses,"
Saskia's face grew really serious, and she stared into Harley's soul, "...I see dead people.". Her poker face broke and she burst into giggles, "Sorry I can't resist doing that when people ask."
Willow inched closer to Saskia then, laughing with the girl as she did the normal Sixth Sense schtick. After the laughter died down a bit, the pasty white girl looked at Harley.
"...I have this weird thing about making things colder." She shrugged. "Dunno how to control it too much, even with May's help."
"I-I make things hot," the blonde boy added on after his sister, not seeming to care that Lena had draped her legs over him.
"Very...interesting, all of you," Harley gave a small snort between Saskia and Lena's comments.
"WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT KIDNAPPING?" The man glanced between them, and huffed. "NO, I DON'T THINK THAT THAT WILL BE NECESSARY UNLESS ONE OF YOU DEEMS IT SO."
"Do you at least know where they are or are we going to have to do all the hard work?" Tobias questioned, finishing the last sip of his coffee before he set it on the table once more, crossing his arms over his chest and looking at the man. "You said you knew them. Do they go anywhere often? Somewhere we can catch them?"
"Somewhere we know we can talk to them." The youngest of the Jones Brothers added, wrapping his jacket around himself, casually nudging his mug. He still wouldn't look at the man. He was unnatural, not something you associate with. "We can't just be showing up at their home. That's... you just don't fuck with homes, alright."
"Relax, man." Tobias muttered, squeezing the nape of his brother's neck before he took his hands away. He turned to face the others, namely the older man and the younger girl sat across from him and his brother, smiling at the pair. "Any chance you two want to pitch in some effort?"
"I'm surprised no one in this room has killed the person next to them, really." Lena said casually, raking her fingers through her locks before throwing them over one shoulder to keep it out of her face, smiling at the others as they gathered. "With our abilities and everything."
"I mean, this guy lights shit on fire, that one is that Asian kid from that cartoon about all the elements, she freezes shit." She added on, looking around the room before she settled on Ryan, smiling at the younger boy kindly with her intelligent features. "It's a miracle, really."
"They might..." May mumbled, very lowly at that. "I mean, my mom's taken out ads in the newspaper..."
"That just makes it worse!" Willow replied, laughing. "Well, her parents are well-versed in this crap. I trust 'em," Liz replied, crossing her arms and moving to stand next to Goody. Chris looked slightly taken a back, before shrugging casually. "Hey, man, accidents happen, all I'm sayin'." "Nah, they don't," she agreed, nodding. "There ARE witches with dangerous powers," Harley cut into the conversation, "Destructive ones, often. Some may learn how to keep it under check, others... can't."
"Can't?" The boy's brow knitted, and he shifted slightly closer to May underneath Lena's legs.
"Some people simply are not CAPABLE of learning how to control it," Harley explained, "Or at the very least are deemed as such by others. There have been many, many witches throughout the years that... have had their powers explode, if you'll forgive that term. And then, of course, there are others, whose powers could be used for good - who are instead using it to run on the side of 'evil.' Those people are some of the most dangerous witches you could find, nowadays."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Yes, but less accidents happen with more experience. Hell, maybe one of them could work with Goody. Or," she teased, leaning over to the girl, grinning, "Maybe we'll just find out Goody's talent is making chaos instead of making potions!"

Lucy shrugged.
"Yeah. I don't mind it, though - it's kinda the only big thing I have."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"WELL, AS YOU ARE BOTH OPPOSED TO A 'HOME VISIT'... THERE IS A POSSIBILITY WE CAN BRING THEM OUT SOME OTHER WAY. YOU CAN, OF COURSE, LEAVE THAT PART TO ME."
"You can't just right them off straight away, though." Lena added to the conversation, pulling her legs up and over from Ryan's lap, giving him some space. Sitting upright, the Swedish girl crossed her arms over her chest, propping one up to play with her piercing quietly. "They just need an extra hand with things."
"Just because they're dangerous, just means they need more help." She continued. "To just fuck them off straight up after that is the magical equivalent of racism. That shit doesn't go well with anyone."
"Besides, my beautiful mother always gave me some advice." She looked to the others before she continued. "Just because we have this advantage over others, it means we need to mind ourselves. We don't push people around and we help whenever we can. It's... It's like a code you live by. I have to follow these ethics."
Anxiously sliding a pair of winter gloves over his hands to cover his brand, the youngest of the brothers nodded, now standing up and using his legs to slide his chair out. He threw his jacket over himself and pulled his hood up over his hair.
The eldest looked at the others, stretching slightly and rummaging through his wallet as he slapped some money on the table loudly before he pocketed his wallet once more.
"Good. You have our number." Tobias looked at the man, then the others. "Just... don't escalate shit. It's just a rule we have, you don't fuck with people at their home. That's their safety, that is where they sleep. That is too much terror."
Sliding his hood over his shirt, Tobias slipped his hands into his pockets, pulling his own hood up, looking at the two other members of the group.
"You going to give us a hand?" He asked, head cocked to the side, smiling. His eyes lingered on the girl. "Or is this something we're going to have to do ourselves?"
She said, sounding confident. "There's been... what, three cases of people not able to control their powers, at least dangerous ones? In the last... decade and a half?" Bishop just groaned, an unamused face covered by his hand. "Bloody 'ell. Again, you two?"
"You would be surprised, May." Harley locked eyes with her daughter. "Things aren't really going so nicely right now in other countries and even here, and it's starting to get a little scary."
"Yes, but less accidents happen with more experience. Hell, maybe one of them could work with Goody. Goody contemplated the notion of her power having been in right in front of her all along. She looked to the stains on her carpet caused by the bubbling cauldron and subsequently failed resurrection attempt with a level expression . . . which snapped into a devious grin. "As much as I appreciate the thought," she giggled, playfully punching Liz in the arm. "Let's just hope that I haven't been wasting my time for too long, shall we?"
"It's... complicated." May shrugged, mumbling a bit lowly. "It just kinda... goes off? It's usually in witches with, like, issues and aren't on medications..."
The girl's train of thought just trailed off then, as she was often to do.
The boy stared at her for a moment before scooting closer to her, falling silent as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~{7:00-ish?}~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The group had all congregated at a little place called the Ugly Mug Diner, and had reserved a few tables in the back. Everyone was coming in now - everyone who had been at May's house, as well as Liz, Goody, and Chris (both had decided to tag along with their best friend, of course), and a few others on their way.
Also in the diner, after some snooping around on the behalf of James and Belphegor, would be BJ and Toby, on a mission to find and coerce both Harley and Eloise to come to another meeting later that night.
Liz had been leading the group once they got to the restaurant (after all, she was the one to make a reservation for them, since she knew where it was), and thus plopped down into a seat. Harley led in her husband by the hand, ignoring any strange looks they may have gotten, and immediately asked for a larger chair for him before sitting down at the edges of the tables that were shoved together.
Ryan was holding May's hand, and immediately rushed over to sit next to Liz and Goody with May.
"Where have you been?" He immediately asked Goody after sitting down. "I've missed you!"
