Amrita sat awkwardly next to Lena, she didn't know the majority of these people, being really only friends with May. She would try to be friendly though, but she simply felt like a third wheel at the moment.
Meanwhile Saskia was sitting across from Willow, frantically fidgeting with the wrapper from her drink straw, unsure of what to say.
"Willow... I'm really sorry about the crush thing," she finally said, "I should of realized, I'm so sorry."

Bishop was, mostly, looking at the silverware at his seat of the table. "Tiny lil' things." He said, sounding slightly surprised. "Even fer silv'rware. Things always so small here?"
May just awkwardly sat down at her seat, giving a small wave to the two. Chris came by then, overhearing Ryan's comment.
"Causing explosions, mostly." He said bluntly, trying to find a seat. "It okay if I sit with you guys or...?"
Willow rolled her eyes then. "It's fineeee." She told Saskia. "Just stop apologizin', okay? Gettin' really annoying."

"This is the place?" Kyle asked his grandmother skeptically. His grandfather was off at a meeting, and the invite to dinner had been somewhat sudden, so he had been elected as the driver. He'd had enough time to change and throw on a new coat after work. He loved his coat, having embroidered sigils and enchantments into it's lining meticulously and lovingly for several years. Many of the enchantments working like computer program lines, doing one thing and telling the next enchantment to do another thing, so many tiny nearly useless spells piled on.
"I suppose so." She grumbled, struggling and straining to get her belt unbuckled as Kyle climbed out and opened the back, pulling out and unfolding her walker so she could walk in under how own power.
Kyle made himself a looming figure, floating behind and around the old woman, opening the door for her and making certain that she didn't wander off in the wrong direction, but without prompting or pushing her to move faster. At least no more than she pushed herself.

Ryan was holding May's hand, and immediately rushed over to sit next to Liz and Goody with May. "Where have you been?" He immediately asked Goody after sitting down. "I've missed you!" Goody responded with a tight hug, ruffling Ryan's blonde head of hair as she pulled away. "Oh, you know me, Ry, I'm a busy gal with important things to do." There was a brief pause, and a brief bit of giggling. "Missed you too, bud. Missed you too."

She was always nervous when it came to meeting new people. Or, well... it had only been recently that it had started affecting her social life. It wasn't so much the social anxiety, more the fear of being recognized in public for what she did as a profession.
It had happened before, actually. Luckily, it had only been with friends and not her family.
Sometimes she got glances in public too, from those who could barely place her at the tip of their tongue. Penis. Whatever.
Standing outside the diner, Sophia stared at her phone, rugged up from the cold in her tight jeans, boots, loose singlet and heavy jacket, waiting for the woman who had been trying to get her out of her comfort zone for weeks. The woman who spent hours and hours jabbing a sharp needle into her skin over and over.
Fresh, showered, clean and slightly touched up with some makeup (she liked to look good), Lena branched off from the rest of the group as they first arrived. If anyone cared to listen before they went in, they'd hear her squeal and clap.
It took a few minutes for her to come back in, strange girl in tow. She had told the others of her coming, why and what she was like.
Collapsing into her booth, she placed an arm around Amrita. Sophia, however, respected her space, placing her phone on the table and smiling with a mouthful of perfect teeth.
"Amrita?" She asked, the girl now caught between the two tattooed beauties. "I'm Sophia. Hi. You're the uuuh..."
"Punjabi Princess?" Lena interjected.
"Firstly, that's racist." She laughed, fixing her hair slightly. "Secondly, I was going to say the girl with, you know... the wind powers."
"And the social anxiety." Lena finished up.
"Don't be mean." She said, leaning over to smack Lena on the hand. She made sure after that note to give Amrita as much wiggle room as she liked in the booth. "I'm a bit anxious myself. You know anyone else here?"
It'd look out of place if the two brothers, already standing out, didn't eat or converse. Seated at their own table, somewhat off but within eyesight, Toby and his younger brother kept a vigilant but conspicuous eye on the party.
The youngest of the brothers, Ben, appeared especially appreciative to eyeball some of the girls. Could you blame him, though?
Imagine it. When the ugliest of the women was some tattooed up Latina, the eldest of the group was A-class MILF and the rest were just a ten on their worst day.
"Hey." Toby interrupted, causing Ben to flinch slightly and look far off after having made eye contact with Sophia. "Stop perving. They're here."
"Yeah, so... how we going to do it?" He asked, taking a sip of his water. The palm of his hand clinked against the glass, the metal cage in his palm scratching at it. He sighed, pushing his fringe from his eyes. "We can't just... "HEY, WE'RE HERE FOR SECRET SHIT. JOIN US, PLEASE." Fuck, like... they're witches, man. How do we do it without making a fucking scene and shit?"
"I'm bad enough with making conversation with people." He continued. "Let alone people who could drop me in a second, just... let's see how it plays out."
"Fine." The eldest replied. "Pass me the hot sauce."
"Gross." Came his reply.

Kyle's eyes roamed over everyone at the Diner. The aura's flickered briefly behind his eyelids as he blinked. As he studied their auras he compared them to that person's outward appearance. The more he looked at the group, the more he frowned. He did not like this crowd. This was a war party if he'd ever seen one, and he was worried about the groups intelligence gathering capability.
His grandmother was looking through the menu making the occasional comment to him about what looked or sounded good. Kyle had already made his choice and was just waiting to order, and was quiet as he watched everyone, even going so far as to study the diners walls and the things on them. Any enchanted items? It was a professional interest.
Unlike the distractable brothers, Kyle's own opinions on the females present were much lower. None of them particularly impressed him, and he was more concerned about how everyone was gathering. How many groups, how many cliques, were here. If they couldn't organize and work together, what was going to happen here? There pretty clearly wasn't a balance of power that would favor him.

"Of course," Liz replied to Chris, motioning for him to sit down with them. The blonde boy beamed at the hug he'd received, and at the fact that more people were coming to sit down with them.
"I wasn't really expecting it to be this big," he said in general, though mostly to May, "I think I just kinda forgot how much friends we have?"
"Well Dear, not everywhere can order the extra large forks and knives," Harley replied to Bishop's comment.
"Hecate, it's nice to see you got out of the house," The voice belonged to Eloise, who had come from seemingly nowhere to be standing near the table Kyle and his grandmother were out. "And is this your grandson?"

"Oh, you know," Hecate said, trying to look presentable. Which meant the smile wasn't quite as solid as it could be, but at least there was an effort made. "It gets harder and harder to get out these days. Besides, I'm not sure I like the outside world all that much, if you know what I mean."
Kyle gave Eloise a glance, and waited to order his meal.

Chris asked, sitting down next to Elizabeth. "It's probably from my parents, I guess..." May shrugged. "...Actually, anyone see Lucy or Carrie?" ". . .They said they were riding with you guys." Chris said, looking around to find the two completely absent.

The eldest of the Jones Brothers skimmed his phone quietly throughout their dinner, imprinting the image of Eloise and Harley into his memory. He had a photo of each one, obviously taken from some distance while they were caught out in the day, running errands and keeping up appearance.
Pulling his napkin from his lap like a civilized Human, not some barnyard fuck, he motioned for his brother to follow him. Caught off guard, Ben stood up, loudly clattering the table before he donned his jacket and beanie, following his brother, never making eye contact with the booth of young, tattooed women.
"Hello." Tobias interjected, cutting off whatever conversation they had going mid-sentence. Just being this close to Tobias, it was obvious the passive effect of his magical 'neutral zone' was playing up with them. "My brother and I think you and your friend here have a mutual friend."
Standing up to his full height, he waited for the two to respond. Looking around the table, he looked for any signs that his 'aura' was poisoning their meal unintentionally. Some of the stronger, more experienced witches might have only have been turned off their meal, their appetite ruined, some of the younger ones may have even felt nauseous or disoriented, unable to focus on Tobias.
Meanwhile, Benjamin stood next to his brother, looking at the two apologetically.
"It'll only take a second." He stitched onto his brother's last, somewhat aggressive command. The two seemed so opposite, with Ben's almost whisper-like voice barely piercing the general banter of the table. "We can speak outside and as a thank you, we'll cover your meals."

Tobias's powers were starting to poison the auras around him, though each to varying degrees. While in the few seconds since he'd come over Ryan's forehead was already resting on the table, Eloise at the opposite end of the spectrum was staring down the two boys, eying them and their auras over.
"And who is this supposed 'mutual friend?'"

Curling her upper lip upwards, Lena pushed her meal away towards the center of the table, a shaking hand reaching for her glass of water. With obvious discomfort, she looked at the others, an almost completely sudden nausea overcoming her senses. But, with Lena, others came first.
Leaning forward somewhat, she placed a hand on Ryan's shoulder, squeezing.
"You okay?" She asked. The empathy made Tobias feel bad for being in their presence with his 'gift.' "Here, Ryan, have some water, flush all the shit out."
Ben, noting it all, especially the tattooed Latina who was struggling to chew through her meal with her stomach feeling as if it was being flipped inside out, wanted to separate himself and his brother from the majority of the group's company. He didn't realize almost everyone here was a witch.
"Please. Outside." He said, giving them a knowing glance in the direction of the suddenly sick group. He gave the older women a kind smile, which was only half-ruined by the reeking smell of whiskey and the smell of metal. "We can explain it all privately. As is the case with private matters."
He placed one hand on the older woman's forearm, attempting to get her to stand. He didn't force her, but it was obvious his intentions were forthright.

Eloise tore her arm away from the boy, setting her jaw. After a moment, she looked back to her daughter in law.
"Harley." That was all she had to say. The two women stood up after a second, moving together and standing like statues in front of the boys, ready for them to lead out.
Ryan glanced up to give a queasy smile at Lena, sitting up better to follow her advice.
"Thanks, Lena..."
