Giovanni walked into the mass of toppled trees that was Fortree City. Nidorino was slightly ahead of him and out of his Pokeball in order to sniff out potential dangers.
How did it come to this? The local crime syndicates had something to do with it because the markets were flooded a few months ago with requests for blue and red jewels that Team Rocket was able to trace to Hoenn. The obvious obsession of the color code of the local crime made it an easy explanation. What could they possibly do with a bunch of stones? How could do they something like this?
His questions stopped after Nidorino stopped and growled.
"Nidorino? Whats going on? Move forward!" Giovanni said.
Nidorino only looked on poised to move at the very second they were threatened. Suddenly a Tropius charged from the broken trees ahead. "Nidorino, move!" Giovanni yelled as the Tropius reared back on its hind legs. Nidorino jumped away from the attack as its legs slammed down where Nidorino once was.
"Ice beam!" Giovanni ordered. Nidorino took a breath in and expelled an arc of freezing energy that hit the Tropius. Still it charged and let loose with a razor leaf straight at Giovanni himself. "Poison jab!" hey yelled as he dove behind a thick tree. With Tropius focused on Giovanni it didn't notice the Nidorino ram it in the side injecting a staggering amount of venom into it. The Tropius then turned to Nidorino with pain and anger in its eyes.
"Good! Now Lairon use Iron Defense! Defend Nidorino!" Giovanni said as he threw Lairon's pokeball. Lairon popped out and immediately started to glow with a blue energy as Tropius brought its feet slamming down. Lairons metal shell stopped the assault and knocked it off balance.
"Nidorino! Poison Jab! Finish it!"
Nidorino's horn glowed purple once more as it charged Tropius exposed belly. The horn pierced it's target and injected another round of venom, this time enough to make the pokemon convulse for a short while and then fall silent.
Giovanni recalled Nidorino and Lairon to their balls and let Persian out for the watch. There was no point in raiding the pokemon center. All the scavengers or his own men had swept this area clean of pokemon, items, and trainers.... Alive or not.

Bria looked up at the Shroomish, still a bit fearful. She blinked at it for a few seconds before realizing why it was so angry. "She...was your Trainer? I-I'm so sorry...is there-" She got out before she saw the Sentret start to practically rip the poor Trainer apart for food. "Wh-what are you doing!? Stop that!" She said, standing over the Sentret, but backing off after noticing the aftermath of the Scout's meal. She turned around to Tris. "Make that insensitive Sentret stop that! That's this poor Shroomish's Trainer it's tearing apart!!" She yelled with tears in her eyes. It was doubtful that the image would leave her mind anytime soon. She was at least glad that Brian didn't see it.

Tris was out of it, in a daze. "Food..." He crawled over to the dead trainer and started tearing at the arm. His stomach visibly and audibly rumbling.
The Sentret backed off to allow its trainer to access the carcass better. He returned to his Pokeball on his own accord, as did Addis.
Tris soon collapsed over the body, the hunger was too much. No matter what, he'd probably ate too late.

Bria's words hadn't gotten through to Tris, as he had joined in the feasting soon after and passed out.
Bria had been left in utter horror, crying openly from the sight. The sight of a Trainer and his Pokemon destroying a fellow Trainer for mere food...it was unnatural and horrifying. She collapsed to her knees, putting her hands in front of her eyes. "Dear Arceus...please tell me I'm dreaming this...tell me none of this really happened!" She said, sobbing quite loudly.

The sobbing...it brought Tris back to his senses, but, why was he....? What had he done? He looked up at the girl, who was crying, and he wiped blood from his face. "What have I done?"

Toby looked down at Freya, a hesitant look on his face. Truth was, he was really quite a novice trainer. Freya had been given to him as a very young Raltz. She was his first pokemon, besides Baldur that was, but Freya was still just about as inexperienced as he was. She hasn't had the chance to learn any new attacks yet. I'd like to teach her new techniques, calm mind, psychic, future sight and the like, but I'm afraid to go out and train. I don't want something to hurt her, she's not strong enough to fight a lot of the pokemon out here. All that was the answer that Toby had going on in his head, but in the end he just shook his head, a simple no. He took the pokemon in and hugged it to his chest, almost protectively, a signal of his reluctance to let his pokemon get seriously injured in the ring of combat. "I would help you but Kyra's immune to psychic effects so you wouldn't get anything out of it." said the Wanderer. He then leaned back on the wall.

The Shroomish stared at the Vulpix, listening to its explanation of what had happened to his trainer. After a few seconds the reality of the situation dawned on him. Penny wasn't going to be waking up. At all. It was like what happened to Oxford the Seedot only days before. He'd taken the brunt of a strong Slash attack from a wandering Sandshrew. The resulting blow had left deep gashes across the pokemon's face and it fell to the ground, refusing to move. That had been their only other partner, their only other friend. Penny had buried the pokemon with tears in her eyes. Would they have to do the same thing to her now?
The Shroomish looked up at the other pokemon who were defiling Penny's body. Rage seemed to fill the Shroomish's eyes as he shot another stream of seeds, a vicious bullet seed attack this time at the young boy. No one dared to defile his master's body that way. Nobody! A vicious razor leaf attack buffetted the trainer, trying to get him to back off. Needless to say, he wasn't happy seeing what terrible things had been done to his trainer in death. Rage seemed to catch hold of the small pokemon's senses as it flung another razor leaf attack at the unsuspecting trainer. ------------------------------
Toby nodded sitting back. He'd tried training before, but the pokemon out there were fierce and with the weather always threatening to half blow him away, Toby was happy with just staying put.
He stared up at the man after a second. Perhaps you could help me train against the wild pokemon instead.
He looked up at the man, again realizing he hadn't actually said anything. He gave the man's coat a little tug, pointing towards the door and then towards his Ralts. Hopefully his gestures would get the point across.
-----------------------
Administrator Shelly sighed a little bit, tapping her fingers against the keys of a computer terminal far beneath the sea. Ever since the flood had begun, team Aqua had begun to take fierce control of the sea. Fortresses were set up that lay deep beneath the ocean's waves, away from the pounding conditions on the surface. Team Aqua had gotten what it wanted. More sea. There certainly was more sea now, but at what cost? Hundreds of lives, civilizations were destroyed, the entire region of hoenn was practically uninhabitable.
Archie was gone. He'd disappeared along with Maxie after the rain started. What had happened down in those underwater coves was still a mystery. Had they really managed to awaken the legendary pokemon Kyogre and Groudon? Did they really exist? Or was this something new, something none of them had taken into account? She shook her head.
Team Magma wasn't a problem anymore. Ever since the flood and the drought they had taken to the other side of Hoenn to deal with their own mess. In the mean time Team Aqua had begun expanding at an incredible rate. Naturally team Aqua had an advantage at sea. They quickly had begun to establish their own bases beneath the waves. People left stranded after the disaster had nowhere to turn after their cities were destroyed. Islands were completely submerged by the rising sea waters. Cities like Sootopolis and Mossdeep were things of the past. Those who had managed to survive had nowhere to go but the safety of team Aqua's bases. They had begun a search and rescue program, ferrying people to safety within the confines of under water cities. People flocked to them like Magikarp to an old rod. It was perfect. Team Aqua was making money, quickly rising above the other teams both in support and in popularity with their TV propaganda blaming the entire disaster on team Magma alone. They were on top of the world.
But now things were stirring up in the areas around Fortree city. A foreign team, team Rocket, had begun to establish themselves in Hoenn. They were well known for their work underground in Kanto and Johto. They were amassing people quickly as well, and spreading into Team Aqua territory. That was going to have to change.

If you come across something your pokemon's weak to, Kyra should be able to take care of it, accept for bug types. If things get too rough, again, I'll have Kyra help." said the Wanderer. "I had a Kadabra, before all of this went down, so I have some experience with Psychic pokemon."

Anger filled the young woman as she saw what had happened. "Get the fuck out of here," she hissed at the morbid trainer. "Run until your feet bleed, and keep walking then," she growled at him. Once again, she shared a glance with her vulpix that tried to get the shroomish's attention.
The woman wanted to bury the remains of the trainer, but she wasn't going to get near the body with the shroomish in such a rage, so she was using her vulpix one more time to try and speak with it and tell the shroomish her wishes.

A smile crossed Toby's face. He'd understood! The young trainer nodded, as he bolted for the door. He took a few bottles of water with him, good for healing if Freya did end up sustaining too much damage. He packed the bottles into his pack and then took the Wanderer's hand, pulling him towards the door. The rain had let up a little bit. It never stopped, but at least now the wind wasn't hurricane grade anymore. He looked around outside, for once not really fearing the wild pokemon that waited in the shadows for him.
He took a few steps out, hearing a slight rustle to his right. A Zigzagoon reared its head out of the brush. Perfect. Toby pointed at the pokemon. First we want to get it off its guard. Try a double team attack
Immediately Freya's body began to multiply itself as illusion forms of itself began to pop up around the wild pokemon. The Zigzagoon looked around, looking a bit intimidated, but still angry enough to attack. It launched a tackle attack at one of the illusions only for it to hit thin air.
Now confusion. Toby commanded. His pokemon obeyed immediately launching the Zigzagoon up into the air. It came back down with a harsh thud, looking dazed and a little dizzy. The pokemon staggered a bit, trying to aim another tackle attack at Freya but only managing to topple itself over instead. Toby backed away. What now? He didn't want to kill the poor pokemon. He frowned, hesitating for a moment.
-----------------------
The Shroomish stared at the Vulpix again, almost ready to launch a razor leaf attack at it too. What did it want to defile his trainer's body as well? When the pokemon voiced its intnetions the Shroomish calmed down a little bit. He backed away, body slowly becoming less tense. He stared at his trainer's body with longing eyes, crushed by the loss of his trainer. He was still half hoping she would just wake up, but somehow now he knew that wasn't going to happen. The pokemon sat down, shivering a little bit. Ever since the drought had begun he'd lost his ability to produce pollen and spores. His little body was looking more and more shriveled every day, and that was made all the more painfully obvious when he sat down. Perhaps he would be following his trainer in a few days anyway. He knew he couldn't survive without her.

The young woman walked over to the body, her vulpix following close behind her. She grimaced slightly at the corpse after it had been violated, but she didn't let that stop her. Releasing her eevee, she started digging a large hole with both of her pokemon. They dug quickly and were able to place the body into the hole before covering it up. The young woman wiped the sweat off of her forehead and leaned against the tree, looking up at the sky.
The sound of her Idunn whimpering up at her reminded her that she had more to do. She returned Idunn to her ball and dug through her bag for something. "I know I have them in here somewhere..." she murmured trying to find something for the poor shroomish.

Tris, in guilt, found his water bottle. He poured the life substance into a dish, and sat it down for the Shroomish, guilt eating him up inside for what hunger did to him.

The shroomish watched from the shade as his trainer was slowly lowered into a pit. He watched as his trainer was slowly lowered out of sight. The pokemon lowered his head in shame, unable to protect his master, his trainer. She was just a flower girl after all, though, after the drought had dried all of her plants up and destroyed the land there wasn't many flowers to sell anymore. Dust storms drove people from their houses, and the baking sun... it made the Shroomish wilt just thinking about it.
The pokemon just stared after his trainer's body, sniffling quietly. Now he was alone, no trainer, no other pokemon to help him along. The wild pokemon had grown increasingly hostile. He had nowhere to go. The small pokemon staggered on its feet a bit. It was getting harder and harder to stay awake anymore. Without any water to quench his leaves or nice soil to dig his roots into, it felt like he was shriveling away into dust. He just wished he had something to sink his roots into.
He glared at the male trainer, hostility still obviously in his eyes. He wasn't going to accept help from him.

She finally found her own water bottle, but she thought it was too late, since the male trainer had given the shroomish his own water. However, the shroomish denied it. Of course, she couldn't blame the poor thing. She walked over slowly to the shroomish and knelt down beside him, holding out a water bottle. "Drink up, little fella," she said with a soft smile.

The Shroomish stared up at the female trainer, a grateful look on his face. He drank the water from the girl's bottle, smiling just a little bit. He looked back at the Vulpix asking in his pokemon language if this girl was its trainer. She seemed like a kind soul. One who would be kind enough to help bury his trainer. The water refreshed him and immediately his leaves began to perk up, his little body beginning to fill out again. He leaned his head against the girl's leg in a show of appreciation. He was grateful for her help.
-----------------------
Toby nodded, Freya, come back. He watched as his Ralts returned to his side. He looked up at the Wanderer, patting his thoroughly empty pockets. No Pokeballs. He couldn't catch the pokemon if he wanted to, not that he particularly wanted to.
All of a sudden another sound came from the brush as a Linoone reared its head, looking rather agitated. It jumped from the brush, aiming a quick attack at Freya. The Ralts was knocked from her feet, caught off her guard. Freya! Toby's eyes widened. Still, he stood his ground. It looked like the fight wasn't over just yet.

Giovanni finally came to the bridge that spanned the river on route 119 as the sun was starting to break through the clouds. The old wooden bridge on the map in his office must have been replaced with a metal one which would present a unique challenge when the sun was out. That metal is bound to be scorching hot and unusable in the day by pokemon or humans. Without the rain to cool it there was no doubt that anything crossing the bridge would only end up burned. With no pokemon to cross the high level of the river and no way across the bridge he was stuck.
He decided the only sensible thing was to wait for the rain again.
"Nidorino, Lairon, Persian." He said after releasing them from their pokeballs. "Use Dig and Rock smash. Quickly burrow into the side wall. It should be cool enough to keep us safe until the rain comes back."
All the pokemon dug furiously into the earthen walls and in short order carved out a small cool cave.
"This will work for now. Go to the river and drink. We're staying here until the heat passes." He said to all three of them.

Kyra moved immediately, biting the large pokemon over the neck, as she did so, she was engulfed in light, and she got bigger, until the light faded away revealing Kyra as a Mightyena. She growled and lifted the Zigzagoon and threw it back into the bushes.

"My pokemon and I have passed upon dead pokemon and their trainers many a time while hungry, and not once have I gorged myself on their flesh. I gave them a proper burial and respected their remains," the woman spoke to Tris, before turning her attention to the shroomish that was quite content and appreciative of her actions. She smiled down at the shroomish as he spoke to her vulpix. "Poor thing...I wonder if he will let me take him along with me. He will die out in these harsh conditions without a trainer to take care of him..." she murmured more to herself and her vulpix.
Kaga the vulpix nodded at the shroomish's question and replied that she was indeed her trainer and a kind trainer she was. Upon hearing her trainer speak, she told the shroomish what her trainer said, and asked if the shroomish would be willing to join them on their journey.

Giovanni sat in his cave with Persian quietly sleeping next to him. Journeying out with Pokemon! Something that he hadn't done since he was a boy in Kanto. Persian was only a new born Meowth back when he was a teenager. Now look at his life long friend. The prissy and incompetent little feline of his two most dim-witted agents couldn't possibly replace Persian.
"Speaking of... I wonder how close they are to stealing that boy's Pikachu anyways? At least it keeps them occupied and out of my hair."
He chuckled at himself with the thought as he reached down and drank from the canteen in his pocket.

The Shroomish hesitated for a moment, staring back into the grave. Penny was his trainer, his master, his friend. It felt like a betrayal to leave her, but if what the girl had said was true, she was already long gone. She wouldn't have wanted him to be left alone. She would have wanted him to live, and living would mean having to find another trainer. A trainer who could take care of him, like this one.
At length the pokemon smiled, looking up at the trainer. He nodded, smiling a little bit and rushing to the girl's side. He turned to the Vulpix, smiling a little bit, and introduced himself by his nickname, Desmond. At this rate the new trainer could probably give him a name of her own, but he thought it would be good to let the other pokemon know what he was called before. He smiled up at the girl, his new trainer, a grateful look on his face.
------------------------------
Toby stared, a look of awe on his face as the tiny Poocheyena began to grow, changing and morphing before his eyes into a Mighteyena. Toby stared at the huge dog, a look of surprise on his face for a second. At length he made his way over to Freya, scooping the pokemon into his arms. She wasn't injured all that badly. A little bit flustered, but other than that, she looked just fine. He smiled, releaved, offering the pokemon a little sip of his water. The rain was dying now, the sun for once beginning to rear its face. That wasn't necessarily a good thing. The sun was much hotter than it should have been anymore, and it baked the face of the earth violently wherever it shone. Already the hiss of evaporating water could be heard.
Wow Toby stared at the Mighteyena, eyes wide. He'd never seen a pokemon evolve in front of him before. Never like that. He smiled, glancing at Freya, Maybe you'll be able to do that too one day. The pokemon smiled back at him, obviously approving.
He tugged on the man's cloak, motioning for the weather tower. It wasn't safe to be out when the sun was out. It would heat up fast out there, and fighting in the heat was always dangerous. It would be best to get inside before more pokemon could attack.
------------------------
"Commander Shelly?"
The Aqua administrator looked up from the computer terminal she was typing at and glanced up at the grunt who'd just addressed her. He was a rather new looking addition to the team, one of the people stranded after Mossdeep city was swallowed into the ever rising sea. He looked nervous, as if the administrator was going to jump up and tear his head off if he so much as moved the wrong way.
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Um.. they... our troupe found more Rocket grunts gathering supplies just off of route 124."
"And? What's the status?"
"Incapacitated, sir... ah.. ma'am." the grunt shifted back and fourth, "B-.. but they managed to take out a few of our pokemon. A Sharpedo lost its fin and a Carahavanha is dead."
Shelly just lowered her head of a moment. There were more every day. She'd been trying to get in touch with the rocket headquarters in Hoenn for quite a while but now... now it seemed that action had to be taken. She didn't like seeing all of these rockets on her terrain.
"I suppose I did want to pay Giovanni a visit." the young woman sighed as she gripped her pokeball. The grunt seemed to tense a bit as she passed him.
"Wh-.. what do I do now ma'am?"
"Tell Matt to send up the S.S. Tidal. Set a course for Lilycove city. I think it's high time we've given our friends at Team Rocket a.. nice welcome to the region."

"Now with the generator up and running with a convenient solar cell array charging it we lift the coms blackout. That's one load off of my back at least." Archer mused to himself.
The chain of command had bumped up in Giovanni's absence. Petrel assumed Archers duties while Archer himself made off with the bosses office for a while. It felt good despite the paperwork. Maybe after Giovanni retires (assuming he doesn't pass off his empire to Silver but Archer doubted that) He could permanently take this seat.
A Comm officer rushed into his office at the conclusion of his thought. "Sir!" She yelled "One of our patrols went down. A salvage team on route 124 went off the grid after contact with a hostile force."
"Shit! Was it just some pokemon or refugees? Or maybe a roving band of those eco-freaks that the boss told us about?"
"Yes sir. The team reported they wore blue bandannas with skull an crossbones on them."
"That's undoubtedly them. Radio all teams back to operations or outlying posts. Assume hostiles and prepare..." Archer couldn't believe he was going to make this lame pun yet he smiled anyways, "for trouble!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Giovanni laughed off the idea that Jessie, James, or Meowth were competent enough to catch a whole brain between the three of them much less a Pikachu. The cave was the lightest it had been in a while so that meant the sun was still busy trying to melt the bridge away. When it got less intense he would dare to try crossing it without having his feet cooked. Sure the river was likely down to a stream right now but, if Ryhorn's death was any lesson, that could change in a heartbeat.
He also had to think about what he would do about finding Silver. The trail lead to Hoenn thanks to a tip from Blue, the current leader of Viridian Gym and his replacement. He'd been searching for some time and hoped that he wasn't dead or in this region any more. Still for all the resources he had at his disposal this boy was being a pain to track.
It was sorta how it all went over his life time. Giovanni always watching his son from a distance, then he got kidnapped and Giovanni had to track him down only to find that he'd escaped to somewhere else. Proud of his wayward sons nerve and adventurous spirit but maintaining a lock on him was nigh impossible. What would he even say once they met?
"Hello Silver. I'm your father, Giovanni. I make a living running a criminal empire out of Kanto and Johto. Love me after I've been absent for most of your life. I had good intentions though!"
Rough drafts are always the worst.

The Wanderer knew Kyra was close to evolving but he didn't expect her to evolve in such a manner. Maybe she liked the boy and his Ralts. The Wanderer and the boy walked back too the Tower.

Shelly sat back at Matt piloted the S.S. Tidal through the waves. For a submarine it certainly was a fast ship, darting through the water like a torpedo, its course set for Lilycove City. A sour look sat on the Aqua commander's face. She wasn't pleased with the way today was going.
You would think that after we took out a couple of their squads they'd get the message and leave us alone. she thought, tossing a pokeball absently in the air, Just stay out of our business and we'll stay out of yours it's that simple. But no, you just couldn't keep to yourself could you. she sighed, shaking her head, They obviously don't know who they're messing with.
About three miles off they'd spotted a Team Rocket cargo vessel, headed inland. With any luck the vessel would lead them straight to the Rocket headquarters in Lilycove. Shelly smirked a little, turning her pokeball in her hand. She was eager to see what sort of welcome Team Rocket had ready for them.
All of a sudden a halt. The force jarred Shelly enough to knock her from her post and the pokeball clattered to the ground.
"The hell is going on up there?" the Aqua admin shouted, shaking herself off and pulling herself off of the floor, she radioed her co-Admin "Hey Matt! What are you doing up there?"
"They saw us!" came the response, "We've managed to blow a nice hole in their starboard side. Dispatched some grunts to take care of the rest of the survivors. Not too many of them."
Shelly gave a huff. She'd been hoping they would be able to follow the vessel until it docked and then ambush the rockets as they left the ship. But it was just as well, Team Aqua did fight best when in the ocean. By the time she reached the hatch the submarine had already surfaced. There were grunts outside picking off the last of the Team Rocket grunts. The ones who decided to surrender easily were herded on board with their hands over their heads. The ones who tried to fight back, well, there was only so much Raticates and Grimers could do out in the middle of the ocean. Koffings and Zubats fared better, but even they met an untimely end. It was difficult to fight against water pokemon when they were in their natural habitats after all.
Shelly paced back and fourth as the four surviving rocket grunts were lined up before her. She tapped her fingernails against her pokeball, a little smile on her face. Sharpedo had been hungry lately, after all.
"Now, which one of you is going to tell me where your headquarters is?" she asked, "In a couple seconds we're going to be ten leagues beneath the sea again. You really have nowhere to run. So, which one of you is going to speak up and which one of you wants to meet my pokemon, hm?"

Toby watched as the wild pokemon began seeking refuge in the shade. The rain could be wet and miserable, and the hurricane grade winds were terrible to try to navigate in, but anything was better than practically melting under the sun's intense rays. Toby frowned a little bit, walking up the stairs into the computer terminal and began punching keys on the keyboard. Strange as it sounded, there were parts of the weather tower that still worked. He could monitor the weather from the upstairs, and tell just how long it would be before the rain began again. This time it was only a little spot of sun. The rain would begin in just a little while. That was usually how it was. Spots of sun, and then gallons upon gallons of rain. He stared out the window, Freya at his side, trying to remember a time when he and his pokemon had enjoyed the sun instead of hiding away from its rays. He closed his eyes. The only question in his mind was why. Why did the world suddenly just decide to go insane? Why did the era of pokemon centers and gym battles and friendly trainers have to end? Why couldn't things go back to the way they'd once been? Freya sat by his side, her small head leaned up against his flank. She knew what he was thinking, and she wondered the same thing.

"I'm twenty-one, and when I was ten...well, you don't need to know my life story."
Ten years old. It was a pity that a child so young had already gone mad with hungry like this young boy did. Serena shook her head, before the shroomish caught her attention. It seemed like he wanted to go along with her, which made her happy. She smiled down at him and crouched, stroking both his head and Kaga's. "I'll take real good care of you, little guy...I suppose I should come up with a nickname for you...I wonder, did your trainer ever give you a name?" she asked.
Kaga yipped up at her trainer and with her pay, she started to dig Desmond's name into the ground. When she finished, she sat proudly next to Desmond, looking up at Serena, who smiled once more.
"Such a clever girl," she cooed, scratching under Kaga's chin before turning her smile to Desmond the shroomish. "So...Desmond. Back when I was a young trainer, whenever a trainer would trade a pokemon with someone, the nickname from the original trainer stayed on that pokemon, and I'm not one for breaking old traditions, but it is up to you. Would you like to be called Desmond still?" she asked the shroomish while Kaga helped translate if needed.

Tris sunk to his knees into the sand, tears crowding his eyes. "I....I had problems with my parents too, I...I never got to say goodbye....but...they didn't treat me too well".

Desmond's face lit up. This trainer even knew his name? The small pokemon jumped into the air, a show of his utter appreciation and happiness. After having the two most important people in his life ripped away from him, he was grateful to have found another trainer who would not only would help him, but who would call him by his own name. He nuzzled Serena and then moved over to nuzzle Kaga as well. He was happy. He would miss Penny and Oxford, but at least now he had somewhere to go, and for that he was grateful.
He gave a little hiss at Tris, still enraged at his actions towards his trainer. He hated that trainer. He knew Serena probably wouldn't be happy if he tried to attack him again, but he was tired of hearing his excused. He just wanted him to go away.
