I really shouldn't have to explain this too much.
It's a Death Note game. Players play as detectives trying to solve the progressive rise in murders by a figure calling themselves 'Kira'. This started with sudden deaths of high school bullies and other local tormentors, and is constantly rising as Kira continues their murderous rampage.
Thing is... You guys won't know who Kira is. You'll be rolling two characters- a detective and a candidate.
The detective is posted in the OOC thread, while the candidate is sent to me via PM. From there, I randomly choose which of them will be the active Kira at the start of the game, with the player being informed via PM.
All of the candidates would appear in the game without their bio being posted in the OOC. Interactions between the Shinigami, a Game Master controlled character, will be done via a chatzy set up directly for this game. The logs, edited to remove the name of the active Kira, would be posted in the OOC thread as possible clues.
And every so often Kira will kill a detective, but the detectives can also accuse or arrest whoever they think Kira is. This means the player will have to reroll a detective if they wish to continue beyond playing a candidate. And when all of the detectives are killed, it's game over.
CHARACTER NAME: AGE: APPEARANCE: PROFILE: (combination of personality and a quick history; something that could possibly give them an alibi)
