So the magical girl parody/slice of life/comedy/supernatural is a writing project now instead of a comic project and I want some advice on how should I plan this out. I already did research , ready and able to write it but how should I balance these out? Advice would be very much appreciated!

What I like to do is write and keep writing until you can't come up with any more ideas.
However, you could plan an outline and write down all the events you want to happen, and then see what happens from there. You could also write down character sheets and put in all the facts that you know about the character.
Hope that helps.

I like to write down a synopsis of how I want the story to go, divvied up by chapter or section. That way I can tell if I'm packing too many jokes or lighthearted moments (or, conversely, too much angst or drama) into a single area. It's also helpful for seeing if I'm focusing on a single character's plot too much or if I've placed a funny scene right after a tragedy, which would be awkward. xD And then from there I spread the details out to even things out.
