School for the Triumphant(OOC + sign ups)

With the discovery of people in our world with powers beyond those of mere mortals, the US Government, and possibly others throughout the world, started various programs to organize and control these people.
This is one of the softer approaches: a community college like school, established by a powerful metahuman. It's goal is to accept those who have discovered themselves with powers, and provide them both training in honing their control and strength. The school is free of charge, and even offers an on site dormitory for those who have little else to go, plus, while offering no promises of how the students will use their powers, 'job placement' is encouraged during the final years before graduation. A four year course is standard, but additional years can be taken to earn higher degrees and even take teaching jobs at the school if they so wish. Or they can enter the world, hopefully with a sense of community and understanding of their abilities(in the theory that it will keep them from becoming super villains. HA! Your future is your own!)
The school is divided into, officially, four 'houses': Magic, Mutation, Science, and Technology. These four via against each other for students, as the house definitions are quite wide, and funding depends on the number of students each house has signed up with them. Students however are allowed to sign up with any of the four, and are usually assigned their House after the interview for signing into the school.
Not to mention there seems to be a fifth house of mostly unrepresented students("unpowered" or "Natural") and even rumors that perhaps a hidden sixth faction exists within in the school as it's ruling body.
"Puppets" are allowed, but fit them in these sign up rules please.
For conflict resolution we will be using a slightly modified version of the Classic Marvel Super Hero Roleplaying system. See classicmarvelforever.com/cms/ for more information if you're interested. The modification is that there is no "Popularity" or "Beauty" ranks, instead it's condensed into "Charisma". No "Contacts"(they would be your teachers). Stats will for the most part remain hidden until called on, and based primarily on your characters seniority in the school(a Junior student would have more power than a Freshman, though far from unbeatably so). All you have to do is fill out this character sheet:

Character Appearance: His only appearances seem to be via the PA system, with a voice that is incredibly deep and rich, with a strong commanding tone yet also a soft uber-fatherly manner of speaking. He has an American accent when speaking English(and royally mangles any attempt at other languages). Since the PA system has some video feeds, his face has been shown to have dark slicked back hair and a large moustache, though the images also show him to be a floating head of fire so it's questionable how seriously you can take them.
Psychological Profile and History: He established the school, and takes regular "vacations", yet is also known to watch the school through means of what appear to be clockwork automatons, often willing to lend a sympathetic ear via one of these automatons, or provide limited assistance. He seems to be extremely phobic of anyone seeing him in person, and as such hasn't been.
Known Special Abilities: Unknown. He seems to have absolute control over the school, through means that seem to mix all house specialties together.

Character Appearance: Merriam is 5'4, with a short bob of white hair and icy clue eyes hidden behind thick glasses. Has many wrinkles by this time in life.
Psychological Profile and History: A very calm lady, has been teaching here for quite a while.
Known Special Abilities: Hypnosis and can make things appear(they hold no real water though).
House: Head of the Science division (anyone who's powers come from exposure to energies/radiations/chemicals/drugs/etc are under her jurisdiction)

Character Appearance: Dark skin the color of mahogany, brown eyes and black hair(kept pulled back in an incredibly tight but short ponytail) with sharp features and a large nose. His motions appear to be 'off' to most observers. The most observant will notice that they are artificial, somewhat stiff and jerky, like an animatronic.
Psychological Profile and History: Mister Azurepine is an android. He's not particularly open about details of his past, suffice to say he claims to have learned and grown like any other living individual. He is meticulous and studious, but not particularly strict with his students so long as they obey the basic principles he sets forth for them. He appears humorless and emotionless most of the time, but has regularly stated he is neither, and even demonstrated it on occasion.
Known Special Abilities: Being an android, his body is constructed of heavier, and more durable, materials than a human body. Additionally he has near absolute control over his body, with all of it's double joints, high strength hydraulics, and energy projection abilities. His mind is genius level when it comes to technological innovations, and he seems to intuitively grasp most, if not all, mechanisms, hardware and software he encounters.

Character Appearance: Brownish blond hair, with greenish eyes. He tends to wear his hair long, usually tied back. He has a beard and moustache which is kept short but thick. He likes very dark purples(black in certain lights) and leather bomber jackets(tending to put large metal skulls on the shoulders). He's surprisingly fit, and young for a teacher.
Psychological Profile and History: Jason Wingrave III had a good upbringing and was in the middle of studying for a language arts degree when one of his friends(attempted girlfriend, but she declared herself a lesbian for the extent of his interest in her in that manner) introduced him to wicca teachings. With some inspiration he gathered up numerous superstitious beliefs and started tying everything together, from Trantric to Vodun. This attempt to pierce the veil of mysticism drew the attention of the Church, who had him arrested and jailed. After the first month in harsh maximum security prison on charges that were entirely unfounded, his mind snapped. He put to use all of the magical teachings he had absorbed, and murdered his cell mate to create a zombie outbreak in the prison, effecting his escape while the walking dead that hungered for human flesh were being covertly eliminated. At some point Mr Z offered him this position, as an outlet for his talents that didn't involve super villainy.
Known Special Abilities: Darkforce manipulation, primarily through necromacy, but also can be utilized in more direct means. He's also highly skilled in most magical fields, having created his own 'kung fu' style by gathering what worked for him from numerous disciplines.

Psychological Profile and History: A former villain and serial killer who stole the powers of other super humans. Eventually he came to control his 'hunger' for learning new abilities, and finally after much therapy, turned to the side of justice. He's still very creepy in his actions, but even during his villain days he was very ethical, even if not very moral.
Known Special Abilities: Intuitive Adaptation (He can mimic or steal the powers of other mutants, or those who's power comes from a physical adaptation like certain Science origined heroes, at his own power rank. As a Teacher, that means when he takes a students power his will be more powerful. This is his ONLY power, he has devoted all his ranks into it.)

"Oh, Antonia, as beautiful and heroic as the day you were rescued from the cruel slave traders who kidnapped you after your mysterious yet famously powerful hero family was completely wiped out, leaving you the sole heir to their legacy!"

Known Special Abilities: Anna has control over her hair. She like to make it long and pink and dramatically flutter in the wind, even when there is no wind. She can also adjust the color of her eyes. Character Appearance: A slim but athletic young man with light skin, brown hair, brown eyes. His body is a tracery of scar tissue under his clothing, and he usually wears his hair spiked up.
Psychological Profile and History: One of the adopted sons of the Nightmare Scorpion, a vigilante of Pinnacle City, who utilizes a combination of psychology, technology, and dark arts training to keep the underworld in fear of him. Timothy has undergone superhero training that anyone else would consider extreme child abuse, having had entire limbs removed in 'accidents'. Fortunately, Timothy has developed a particular ability from the mystical 'Lazarus Baths" that are used to repair his and his father mentors all too human bodies after a particularly rough battle. With his 'father' working along side several other high name superheroes across the globe, Timothy was left to his own devises as to what to do or where to go. He picked here, to further his training.
Known Special Abilities: Regeneration due to extended exposure to healing magics. Martial artist and gadgeteer as well.

His eyes are a yellow green, and tend to glow in the dark under the right lighting conditions. His clothing(he prefers greens and earth tones) is specially adapted to suit his tail, which is also red with a white tip. Two large fox ears poke out of his hair as well.
Psychological Profile and History: While hiking through his uncles property somewhere in the northwestern wilderness, Thomas stumbled on some kind of trickster spirit. Exactly what happened isn't certain, Thomas himself isn't entirely certain, but he came out of the forest much furrier than he had gone in. As the Forest Fox his tries to be irreverent and fun, though sometimes his pranks can be rather cruel.
Known Special Abilities: Probability manipulation. In addition to being rather lucky, the Forest Fox can teleport himself in line of sight. He also has acute senses, and has trained in fencing.

Psychological Profile and History:
Tyler comes from an alternate universe in the year 2054, where the world is dying, after multiple nuclear holocausts, global warming, war, and other factors.
Tyler is a virgin births caused by the breaking of the walls of reality, a phenomenon that tends to create improbable situations.
When he was 5, his mother was killed brutally by a mugger, and he was sent too a facility where he was experimented on, the constant abuse created two other personalities, Superego, a haughty megalomaniac, and Id, a homicidal psychopath.
After a few events, he ended up falling through a barrier of his universe and ending up in this one. He was adopted by the Tellerman's.
As noted, Tyler is very unstable, have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Schizophrenia. The Tellerman family has been helping him with that, and was convinced that this school was the best place for his special needs.
Known Special Abilities: Invisiblity, intangiblity.

Character Appearance: Shane is a small statured, bony little boy who stand at about 4'11''. He has pale skin, long-ish black hair that hangs just past his ears and freckles.
Psychological Profile and History: Shane grew up in a relatively normal household, raised by a single father in a small, rather secluded town rather far away from the city. His father raised him rather strictly to be very obedient and with a steadfast set of morals and a strict code of honor. The two of them took in (effectively adopting) Tyler Craft when he was around 7. Shane was a rather normal child until he reached middle school, where he began to suffer from very violent and realistic hallucinations, thought at first to be the result of some form of Epilepsy. In the months following Shane became very secluded, nervous, and at points violent towards the people around him. It was around this point that people noticed strange things happening around Shane. At first it was speculated that he was simply a trouble maker, but when one 'accident' ended up culminating in a school fire, it was finally decided that something had to be done. This decision came at about the same time as the Tellerman were being approached for Tyler Craft's enrollment and as such Shane's parents were allowed to enroll them both, free of tuition as they seemed to both have special abilities.
Known Special Abilities: Shane has a very limited amount of control over his 'abilities'. Thus far, his skills consist of being able to 'see' the feelings and emotions of people around him, and predict events that are going to happen in the (very) near future (usually at a point where Shane has no way of doing anything to do stop it from happening) He also has a knack for being in the wrong place at the right time, and is almost always present for a number of strange or 'odd' happenings. Psychological Profile and History:
Tyler comes from an alternate universe in the year 2054, where the world is dying, after multiple nuclear holocausts, global warming, war, and other factors.
Tyler is a virgin births caused by the breaking of the walls of reality, a phenomenon that tends to create improbable situations.
When he was 5, his mother was killed brutally by a mugger, and he was sent too a facility where he was experimented on, the constant abuse created two other personalities, Superego, a haughty megalomaniac, and Id, a homicidal psychopath.
After a few events, he ended up falling through a barrier of his universe and ending up in this one. He was adopted by the Tellerman's.
As noted, Tyler is very unstable, have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Schizophrenia. The Tellerman family has been helping him with that, and was convinced that this school was the best place for his special needs.

Character Name: Shane Tellerman
Character Appearance: Shane is a small statured, bony little boy who stand at about 4'11''. He has pale skin, long-ish black hair that hangs just past his ears and freckles.
Psychological Profile and History: Shane grew up in a relatively normal household, raised by a single father in a small, rather secluded town rather far away from the city. His father raised him rather strictly to be very obedient and with a steadfast set of morals and a strict code of honor. The two of them took in (effectively adopting) Tyler Craft when he was around 7. Shane was a rather normal child until he reached middle school, where he began to suffer from very violent and realistic hallucinations, thought at first to be the result of some form of Epilepsy. In the months following Shane became very secluded, nervous, and at points violent towards the people around him. It was around this point that people noticed strange things happening around Shane. At first it was speculated that he was simply a trouble maker, but when one 'accident' ended up culminating in a school fire, it was finally decided that something had to be done. This decision came at about the same time as the Tellerman were being approached for Tyler Craft's enrollment and as such Shane's parents were allowed to enroll them both, free of tuition as they seemed to both have special abilities.
Known Special Abilities: Shane has a very limited amount of control over his 'abilities'. Thus far, his skills consist of being able to 'see' the feelings and emotions of people around him, and predict events that are going to happen in the (very) near future (usually at a point where Shane has no way of doing anything to do stop it from happening) He also has a knack for being in the wrong place at the right time, and is almost always present for a number of strange or 'odd' happenings. There is speculation of additional powers.
