Real name Lindsay Ellis. She's my favorite of the Team Awesome members. I like her more analytical and sarcastic style of reviewing the best. I recently rewatched her review of Armageddon and laughed my arse off.
Also, am I the only one who has a crush on her. She's smart, funny, well educated, nerdy, likes a lot the stuff I like. Oh and when she lets her hair down she's pretty gorgeous in an unkempt kind of way.
What does everyone think of the other Team NChick members? I liek Maven's Vampire Reviews almost as much as the Chick's videos, and I'm itching for her to do World of Darkness (that is, assuming she's played the game).

^ Nella is so cute. I like the 50 shades of green thing they're doing right now, maybe because it's just them getting drunk and making jokes at this stage.

Nella is adorkable. She reminds me a lot of myself.
I am growing to like the Chick a lot. Her more recent reviews are so interesting, and I like how she doesn't just look at a film individually, but as a whole and what trends led to it, what trends it led to, what it said about it's time of release, and so forth.

I think she's really bloomed as a reviewer and makes me want to watch her.
The Lorax is probably one of my favorite reviews (and The Labyrinth for her older reviews)

^My favorite of her old reviews is Armaggedon. My favorite of the new ones is probably The Worst Witch.
Has anyone considered trying to help them with the 50 Shades of Green project?

I'm almost scared to ask... what is their 50 Shades of Green project? 50 Shades of Green is their little project to make money off of and make fun of Twilight. Because they've done Twilight with witches, Twilight with fairies, Twilight with BDSM, among other things. So now they're gonn do Twilight with aliens, hence the reason for Green being the name of the title. Here's their video explaining it.

What I like most about their 50 shades of Green is that it's making fun of the genre but by playing it straight. They're not writing a ridiculous OTT parody. The source material is funny enough. So they're writing a book that, to anyone who doesn't know it's background, would seem just like all the Twilight books with them purposely trying to use as many of the cliches and tropes as possible.

For a moment I was worried it would be Twilight or BDSM with Kermit.

I actually applied to be one of their writers =) Sent them a sample with Nyarl in it. X3 I was just so sad I couldn't write more than 250 words. Could of had so much more fun with that guy. "Of course, you could!" Nyarl beamed. "I'm just THAT fabulous of a guy!" ^_^... Fuuuuck, he's coming through again.

I'm not sure. They never responded to me, and mine wasn't one of the few they read.
However, Elisa mentioned in the latest episode how she really wants Nyarl to wear bunny slippers. Which one what I wrote about in my sample. So that makes me very happy and excited. Even if I didn't get picked, the bunny slippers got in! =D
Here was my entry, by the way: =)

I liked her and Nella's review of The Host. It makes me realize how important it is to have my female characters be central players and have a big role in my story. Now I think I may write a series with a female main character.

Tbh, as much as I like the initial 50 shades of green idea, I'm a little worried that they're getting too attached to the Lovecraft side of it. It was just a mention on a recent video about them wanting writers who captured lovecraft's overblown style or something but it made me think... 'what does that have to do with anything?' It's supposed to be about YA paranormal romance, not half that and half lovecraft. I dunno. Hopefully it all works out.

I see the appeal in both forms of publishing but I feel like since this is supposed to be a subtle parody then they should go the self published route. They already have a built in audience. If they go traditional then they'll probably be made to tone down any parody which defeats the point or have to ramp up the parody which will change their original reason for doing it in mocking something by imitating it.
