America's Destiny: 1789 General Election

I figured I'd post this here, as I honestly didn't know of any other place to toss it up.
Basically, this game is a retrospective timeline; from the United States of America's beginnings, all the way to the present day. You all get to vote for candidates for President, whether they be from our own history, or otherwise. Alterations will likely be inevitable - that's where the fun comes from. Who will you choose to run this fledgling nation?
In 1789, the very first presidential election in the US, we're playing by pre-12th Amendment electoral rules, so you get to vote twice - the most votes winning the presidency, and the runner-up becoming their Vice-President.
Pending on your results when the polls close, I'll be writing a summary of the first four year term of our winner's administration, and the next election will determine whether he (or she) stays or gets the hell out.
