You find yourself at a small camp with several tents and a few fires. You appear to be, at a glance, in a small woodland area. Looking behind you through the trees you can see the ocean. Sadly, you see nothing but trees to the left and right of...but wait...you see what appears to be the turret of a castle to the left.
Looking ahead, you see, quite a way away, a series of cliffs and a large mansion atop the largest. What lies between you and the estate is anyone's guess. This is all pushed from your mind as you notice you are not alone...

The young woman looked around and began to investigate the campsite, alert for any signs of danger though she also wondered if she was the only one here.

Name: Phryx Albertyne.
Sex: Male, and yes please.
Nationality/Species/Race: Human, mut-breed. German, Celtic, Russian, French, British.
Birthdate/Age: 57-58.
Sexual Orientation: Anything goes, whether it wants to or not.
Appearance: Tall, malnourished. He is untouched by light, and has a pale complexion. He suffers from flamethrower burns up his left-arm, and his left-hand ends in a malicious looking talon.
His legs are bony, and his body is covered in the tattoos of a native warrior of Bastion. His feet are slightly off-putting. He has one human foot, dirty, scarred, wrapped in a bandage, and one foot alike to the talon on his hand.
He has, however, an appealing face. Laughlines, wrinkles, and a smile that isn't as damaged as his body. His eyes are aqua, and shine with malicious intent. He has a shaved head to keep the lice away, and wears a pair of baggy jeans, with sports knee-pads on.
He wears one combat boot, and leaves his talonned feet unwrapped. For a shirt, he wears the skin of some beast that has a leather inside, and a furred outside, although the color is a little off-putting.
He is tattooed, head-to-toe, in Celtic, biblical, rapacious and sodomy inspired artwork. It is the signs of sick man, a courageous man, and a man whom has very little not to die for.
Personality: Merciless, and full of zeal unbeffiting of someone of his age. He believes a man is only proven in battle, and that if he should ever shy away from that battle, he is nothing more than a woman. Rapacious, which is what he was put away for, he has no qualms with killing someone. However, many consider him an asset for his skills as a fighter, and his funny sense of humour to everything.
History: Born to a flesh-house working prostitute mother and a veteran soldier, he was raised by the women of the fleshhouse.
His entire life, from birth till he was eight, he had seen acts of pure perversion. Women hung up on hooks, and allowed to pour lemon in their eyes for the satisfaction of faceless men, rape, murder.
More than once he has had to defend his mother's life from the petty perversions of other men. Ultimately, this has scarred him for life, and he holds no respect or friendliness towards men outside of Avenger Company.
However, he was taken away at the age of eight, for mandatory service. He was placed in Defiler Company, and grew through merit for his ability to desensative himself from murder, make himself and others laugh, and keep calm under fire.
All these were feats for a child legion that was commanded by one adult, whom was only just nineteen.
He quickly ascended the hierachy, and at the age of fourteen, was taken on as a Ranger. He barely made it two weeks.
In a fit of rage after finding out his mother had been raped and murdered, he killed Eastern Fringes civilians in a fit of rage. Twenty four dead, three wounded whom died later on.
This was, truly, when Phryx's mind collapsed. He became as petty as the faceless men whom raped his mother, and took upon himself the pleasures of the flesh. He drank, he murdered, he raped, he did drugs.
Now, mind you, Bastion only allows these acts in Fleshhouses, as they are considered 'states' of their own, and too powerful to destroy.
Ultimately, everything caught up with him when he turned eighteen. He was put away for years for commiting thes eacts outside the confines of the fleshhouses, and sentenced to 70-80 years of mandatory service.
Now, he is here.
Other: Making this shit up off the top of my head, as Phryx is a relatively new character. I'll fix the rough edges eventually.

Sai looked around the campsite warily, not having a clue where she was or how she had arrived there. There were other people there and, by mere instinct alone, the woman kept her distance from them. She tried to remember what happened before she arrived here. What could have triggered it? The answer didn't come to her. She felt a chill run through her. She wasn't sure if she liked this place but she was already feeling shaky. Wary. Fearful. Alone.
It was more difficult than one would think to calm such an erratic mind once it got going. Trying to calm herself down, Sai backed away from the camping sites a bit and leaned against a tree.

After a few moments, Ars approached the young woman, making sure her movements were slow and deliberate so as not to alarm her. "You were drawn here too." It was a statement rather than a question and to be fair, Ars' circumstances made for a strange situation when it came to expressing emotions.
Thanks to the mad angel sealed in her soul, Ars knew the young woman for what she was. Nephilim... Once, when the gods had cared about the world, the reason the world was flooded was to destroy these beings. Of coure, in her world, the Gods no longer cared.

Sai looked up rather abruptly when she was addressed. No matter how slow the other woman was being in her approach, Sai was always easily startled. Especially right now. It took a moment for the woman's words to register after the initial surprise. She didn't respond to her. Not at first, anyway.
"... Who are you...?" She asked, once she felt herself calm a bit.

There was a few seconds of silence before Sai got her response. "...Ars." She stopped once she stood a few feet before the girl. "Might I ask your name, stranger? I'm at a disadvantage, I'm afraid."

Ars. That was the woman's name. She wasn't sure if she was comfortable with the proximity, but it was a lot better than what it could be. It'd be far different if Ars had been a... She decided not to think about that.
"Sai," she said in response. Of course, that wasn't her real name, but she'd gone by it for millions of years. Her old name, while she still remembered it, had been one long since abandoned. It wasn't a name she'd ever go back to. Ever.

Sensor Thirty-one woke to the sound of voices, which was odd, because the compound was usually silent when she woke up. "Teacher Sventy?" she asked sleepily, wondering if her mentor had woken her for a late=night lesson. But the voice was not that of Teacher Seventy. She stood up to see two women facing each other. And a place that looked very different from Ellair. "Wh-what happened?" she asked timidly.

Phryx emerged, from a series of bushes that went off far into the distance. It wasn't hard finding him out. He made no effort to conceal his noises.
He stood bold, infront of them, and smiled. He was obviously keeping prepared, and undid the clasp for the pistol at his hip.
"Ladies?" He asked, smiling and nodding to each, his other hand resting on the Human Skin drum at his side, idly tapping a beat, "Are we all here?"

In a seemingly idle motion, Ars fiddled with one of her earrings as she sized him up. "For now...For all we know more could show up later."

Phryx raised an eyebrow, allowing his pale, tattooed hands to push the pistol back into the holster, and clasp it back up. He held a hand out.
"Phryx 'Joker' Albertyne, Avenger, Alpha Company, Legion of Bastion." He introduced himself, smiling. He carried a polite tone, and a pleasant smile, "I mean, if we're going to be together in this, we might as well get to know each-other..." He said.

There was a pause as Ars stopped toying with her earring and accepted, giving a firm handshake. "Ars. Winged Horde Seraphim Unit, Pilot Officer." She took a few moments to glance at her surroundings once more. "I seem to have lost my way...What of you, Phryx?"

Sensor Thirty-One ducked back at the sight of the man who came out of the bushes. He was scary-looking, with pale skin and many scars and tattoos. And he was carrying a drum made of something she didn't want to know about. Instinctively, her hand went to the pocket where she kept her Lifestone, seeking comfort in its familiar shape. She inched closer to the woman who was not talking to Phryx, the one whose name she hadn't heard yet.

The air around Sai seemed to tense a little more slightly when Phryx appeared before them and if she hadn't already been leaning against a tree, she probably would have moved back from him. It wasn't from appearance alone. No. It went much deeper than that. She didn't know him, sure, but she was more wary now than she was moments ago.
She didn't say a word as he conversed with Ars. When he offered his hand to them and introduced himself, she didn't take it.
"Sai," she said. Just giving her name. She shared nothing more than that. She eyed him cautiously.
She glanced over to see a young child inching closer to her. It confused her a little, having not experienced this in... Well, forever, actually. Her expression wasn't hard, however and she made no move to step away or stop the girl. In fact, she likely found the child to be much more comforting company than the man.

To be honest, Ars didn't really trust Phryx either; everything about him seemed...feral, for lack of a better word. Still, she was not going to wear her heart on her sleeve. In addition, there could be a situation where she might have to place her trust in the other three for whatever reason and they the same. Pulling away from him, she turned towards the little girl that had joined the little group. "Since we all seem to be stuck here may as well get acquainted." She crouched down to the child's eye level. "So...what's your name?"

"I-I don't have a name any more," said Sensor Thirty-One. She sounded scared, but also a little proud. "I'm a Guardian." She stood up as straight as she could. "And that means that that in a situation such as this, I am to consult the Ultimate Force for guidance. And, um, take a leadership role." Or something like that. Her mentor had repeated the words a hundred times, but she had never bothered to memorize them. Still, she did her best.

"Ultimate Force, eh?" There was no skepticism just surprise that sounded somewhat flat. It brought to mind what she had been doing before ending up in this place: searching for the Gods that had abandoned them out of despair and plead for them to return. There were other worlds out there that still kept their gods in one way or another. A small comfort but it gave her some hope nonetheless. "In any case, good to meet you, kid...Is there something I can call you at least?"

"You may call me Sensor Thirty-One," she said, trying to copy the voice the Speakers used when addressing the public. She knew she would have to gain the others' respect, and Speaker One's voice was always very respectable. "Your name is Ars, am I correct?"

"It is." She blinked at the rather polite tone but didn't think much on it, deciding she would have to scout the area later when the opportunity arose.

"Pleasure to meet you," Phryx mentioned, smiling, "Odd bunch. I'm afraid to mention I think that we're not all from the same world."
He sighed, and ending an idle beat that had played. He looked towards the girl.
"Afraid?" He asked, idly addressing the girl, looking at the child. He couldn't cauge how old she was, or how experienced she was. In his world, she'd either be dead, a prostitute, some labourer, having children, or she'd be in the frontlines.
"Don't be, child." He said, coming closer and down to her level, "There are worse things in the world."

Sensor Thirty-One raised her head, meeting the scary man's gaze. "I-I'm not afraid," she said, trying to sound forceful. "I'm a Guardian. The Ultimate Force is behind me." Saying the words made her feel better, stronger. That's what everyone always said she was. Strong. Her Lifestone resonated strongly, she had a strong will, the Ultimate Force had gifted her with strength. She would be strong here. She looked around at the other three people, all much taller than her. "Does anyone have any information on where we are or how we got here?"

Sai was hoping she wouldn't have to rely on them. Of course, sooner or later she would have to and she would have to interact with them- including Phryx, whether she wanted to or not. It wasn't a comforting thought.
The attention seemed to turn on the child and that meant that it wasn't on her, which was something she was relieved by, even if she remained tense.
It was strange hearing the little girl had no name. Of course, Sai had abandoned her own but instead had given herself a new one. Not having one at all was peculiar. Calling her, "Sensor Thirty-One" seemed like a pretty long thing to call someone. Perhaps it could have been shortened?
Being called off by Phryx didn't bother her much. She'd been called much worst things in her life.
"That seems to be the case," she said in regards to them not being from the same world, though her voice was somewhat distant and nowhere near normal volume.
As for worse things in the world, she could attest to that.
She looked at the little girl.
"Would you mind "Sen" for short...?" She asked, slowly, as if prepared for an immediate no.
"And I really don't know how I got here.. Or where here even is..."

"Good." Phryx said, smiling.
He took a hand out, and, whether the little girl liked it or not, scrunched up her hair in a boyish manner. He laughed, and took a stand.
He placed both of his hands on his hips, smiling, "Well, we're stranded, alone, none of us know each-other, let alone are from the same world."
He turned and looked towards the girl, Sai, she had called herself. She seemed cold, distant. Showed very few emotions. He hated that.
Emotions were what kept a person alive. You could be a cold, sadistic killer, but the funny, humorous man would have a thousand allies to back him up.

Ars would have said something except at that very moment she realized she had been followed. It was odd that she missed its presence until now but that only meant it was a more superior denizen of its kind. What its kind were had always been up for debate but it was known amongst those back in her world that the mere sight of them induced madness or some sort of instability; the most powerful simply caused those who beheld them to die gruesome deaths. "Trouble's headed our way...Seems something followed me here." Pause. "Which of you guys knows how to fight? Besides the obvious one, here." She asked while slightly nodding in Phryx's direction.

"Get the child in the center of us, form a half-circle." Phryx ordered, coming up and standing next to the woman, slipping a machete from his thigh and a pistol from his hip.

Sensor Thirty-One was about to ask Sai not to call her Sen, but didn't have time. Ars' tone was enough to tell her that whatever was coming was big trouble, and she didn't have to hear Phryx's command twice. She hurried behind Ars, clinging to the woman's shirt.

Phryx sheathed his machete, and, with his now free hand, attempted to fannangle a small combat knife from his waist, and thensome, hand it to the small girl.
"Here." He said, shoving it into her grasp, "Cut anything that isn't us three."
He kept his pistol aimed high, hand holding the grip, his talon cupped under, keeping it steady. He leaned forward on one foot, his talonned feet digging into the dirt behind him, keeping him ready.

There was a flash of bright light as something moved from Ars' ears to her hand, taking the form of a golden sword, its blade oddly composed of metal segments.
"It comes...Battle is the best defense against this sort of monster, for battle itself is chaotic. If you can, avoid looking at it head-on. At best, you will be disoriented or go mad. At worst, death."
It was at this point that it showed itself, taking on the form of a writhing, shadowy mass with a void at its core while strange white slits about its form opened and closed. Ars wasn't sure what would happen but it was possible that the creature could grow in power in a place like this, a waystation between worlds. On the other hand, the nature of this place could also cripple its capabilities significantly.
Hoping for the latter, she lashed out at it, the sword extending into a whip-like form that penetrated the creature. It would be nice if it proved a deep wound but it was just the first blow of many to come.

Phryx stood where he was. This information was helpful, but he had no idea what to make of this manifest.
He had spent probably almost all his life fighting demons and other people, and had probably mastered a thousand artforms of killing them. The only problem with killing demons was finding out what their capabilities were.
He disregarded this, and produced his pistol. It was standard issue for most of the weapons in the Bastion army to be blessed. It wasn't a hard ordeal, nor did it make a big impact.
The weapon could hurt the demon, but not like a bullet could hurt a Human. Probably more than an inconvenience.
He sighed, and with his talon hand out to his side, he fired his entire magazine at the beast, before he leapt into the fray, swinging with his talon.
