"Oh I didn't destroy them, Shane," he turned to the mage, "You did. There are an infinite number of universes with an infinite amount of possibilities. So there are universes that's fate depends on certain acions you do. I simply showed you the universe that explodes when you take a step. Would you like to see the universe that dies whenever you blink, or yawn, or simply stand still trying not to do anything?"

Colin placed his hand over Wyatt's, mimicking the man's words. "Am I doing it right?" He asked, then realized he probably shouldn't have broken the chant.

A snarl grew on Shane's lips as he stared at Ulfr.
"What exactly are you trying to prove?" he asked, "Why are you showing me this? To prove to me that I'm powerless? I know I can't stop all death, I can't even stop the death that's going on in my own world. I couldn't save the Brotherhood, I couldn't save Clayton..." he shook his head, "I get it, you're trying to tell me that no matter what I do catastrophe is always going to accompany me. I know. I've seen enough catastrophe in my own life happen."
He glared up at Ulfr, "You can show me all you like, Ulfr. It's not going to stop me from fighting for what I know is right. Even if I can't save everyone... even.. even if I can't save ANYONE...." he closed his eyes, "Just that by the thought that our actions might yeild some good... that's all we're fighting for."
------------
Wyatt nodded, eyes locking with Colin.
"You're doing fine." he replied, "Just keep going until you feel your signature starting to pull a little. You're going to need to take rests." he bit his lip, "This isn't easy for a first job, but.. I suppose you'd have to learn how to deal with these sorts of things at some point." he smiled, "You're doing fine."

Ulfr's eyes widened as much as they could. He stared at Shane, horrified at what he'd just said. His eyes started to water up, and it seemed as though something was stuck in his throat. His head shook a bit more before air finally came out, and Ulfr laughed. He laughed, looking at Shane, and it only seemed to make whatever it was even funnier because he threw his head up into the air and howled in laughter.
His wide red eyes fixated back onto Shane, and that's when the mage realized that there were tears coming out of his eyes.
"So what then? What happens when it's all gone? When in the end, you couldn't save ANYTHING! I couldn't save any one of them. They all died all around me, and there was not a damn thing I could do. Not even with my powers. No, nothing could stop it, it was FUCKING INEVITABLE! I could blow up planets, universes shifted and changed to my hums, I could scream and cause a universe to implode and explode! But you know what? I couldn't save ANYONE! Even with these fucking powers I was useless! I just had to watch as the people I loved were killed and tortured right in front of me! And the best part, they didn't deserve it! They were the thing I was fighting for, the very good in this FUCKING BULLSHIT OF AN EXISTENCE! But, guess what?" He grinned, still giggling, his eyes growing brighter now, he looked as though his mouth was ready to foam. "THEY." He grabbed Shane by the collar. "ALL." He pulled Shane's face only half an inch away from Ulfr's face as he screamed. "DIED!"
He threw Shane to the ground and looked down at the dead universe. "There is NO justice in this existence! Everything is WRONG!" He turned back to Shane. "The CORRUPT and EVIL live on, with grand and glamorous lives, while the INNOCENT and the GOOD are left to suffer and die!"
"Tell me, have you ever seen anyone, truly good of heart rewarded for their actions and not have that torn away so that they can suffer even more?" He stomped towards Shane. "Tell me..." He said in a low voice. "Tell me..." His voice got louder. "TELL ME!" He screamed.
"There's no point in anything we do! It's all to be taken away from all of us in the end, and for what? What I may wonder, what happens to us once the day is saved? It's only the beginning because another problem makes all of the sacrifices from before IN VAIN!" He started to chuckle again and giggle.
"And what do these sacrifices add up to? Congratulations~! I get the key to the town~! Now go and save us again and sacrifice more~! Watch as we all die around you, everything you do is pointless~!" He turned his back to Shane.
"I gave up everything, everything I could give compassion to...to..this god damn existence. To this damn tyrant that rules us through invisible strings. And...it's not enough to make any difference. It never has, and it never will.' He turned his head towards Shane and gave a chilling side glance, the slit crimson eye looked at Shane, judging the boy, staring into his life, his soul, his most private moments, his darkest moments.
It became clear. Ulfr hadn't always been like this. He once stood on the border, fighting against the darkness that would dare hurt those under his protection, but the more he fought, the more the borderline blurred, and the more pushed towards the border of darkness. There had once been an internal conflict between good and evil inside of Ulfr, and just like with everything he told, in the end, good lost.
"In the grand scheme of things...we are so god damn insignificant. Nothing we do matter. Our achievements don't matter. Our compassion doesn't mean a damn thing. Our very existence...it's all pointless. And yet...why....why do we feel...why do we feel such strong emotions? Why? WHY!?" He burst out laughing again, this one louder then all of the rest. "I figured it out! It all made sense! And it drove me to the deepest pits of insanity to learn the terrible truth behind everything! And how meaningless everything truly is!" He turned completely towards Shane. "You'll see! You'll see when I finally succeed, you'll see the TRUE face of what you were trying to defend!"

A figure stood against the treeline, sitting. Rarely a care on her pretty little face. Simply, she just watched.
She adjusted in her spot. She wasn't easy to spot, under all this foliage, but she stuck out like a sore thumb. She had short, black hair, black fit jeans with knee-pads, and wore a corset.
She looked more like a prostitute than a warrior.
But for now, she was contempt to just watch. Specifically from her vantage point, Matti, Shino, Ratio, Averis and Elliot.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. Really. I'm just..." Shino sighed.
"Ratio, is Seven alright in there?" Matti asked. He placed a hand on Ratio's shoulder, and then his other onto his chest, "Hold up. Let me just attempt to get you up on your feet before you start taking charge again."
Matti smiled, before gold tendrils seeped painlessly into the skin of Ratio's chest.
"Mm." Elliot said, sighing. He hadn't felt this tired in his life.
"I'm so sorry, Ratio." He finally said, weary eyes looking down on the man, "For reals, man. But more and more of us are..."
He sighed, scraping his hands down his face.

Ratio nodded, locking eyes with Elliot momentarily.
"I understand, Elliot." he said quietly, "Even I am growing weary as we speak. I have long warn out my stay here I fear and..." he closed his eyes, "After this war is over, I don't plan on coming back."
He looked up, "But this isn't the time to dwell on it." he said steadying himself against Matti, "Something is going on here, and we need to figure out what it is." he looked around, "And our first priority in that should be finding Mana and Wyatt. Maybe Mana more so than Wyatt, he'll know how to handle all of this." he smiled grimly, "This war won't be over until I've drawn my last breath.. and then some. We'll fight this thing until we're all bleeding." he grinned, "That's the true face of war." ------------------------ Shane stared up at Ulfr, shaking. As the man's tyrade ended he silently counted his fingers and toes, making sure he was still all there. He wondered momentarily how he was still alive. He'd been sure, for a second, that Ulfr would simply make his head swell up and explode right off his shoulders. In all truthfullness, he still could, but Shane decided if he hadn't done it yet, he wouldn't now. Probably.
It was keeping that in mind that Shane finally found the courage to speak up. He stared up at Ulfr, not only in fear, but with just a hint of compassion for the poor soul. He knew what it felt like to feel helpless, as if everything you did was for nothing, helping no one. That the world was just one big cruel mess. A web of hate and anger and spite that did nothing but hurt everyone and everything caught within it. But then there were times when Shane knew that wasn't true. And he knew Ulfr didn't think it was either.
"What about the people you fought for?" Shane asked quietly, "Were their lives worthless?" he met Ulfr's eyes, "Not to you they weren't. Just like my father's life wasn't useless to me."
He stood shakily, locking eyes with Ulfr steadily. There was a new air about him now. He was no longer afraid of the man, in spite of all his power.
"Think about all the people you were close to, Ulfr. All those people you fought for. Do you think they'd want to see you this way? Shouting at the gods and cursing existence. You say there's nothing good in this world but... what about the ones you fought for? Weren't they good? Didn't they show you kindness, selflessness?" he closed his eyes, "It's hard losing someone you care for like that. When my father died, I thought the same way. I thought like it was the end, like everything good had been stolen away and I was left with cinders of a broken life. I thought everything was wicked, but then, out of nothing, out of nowhere, when I thought no one else could possibly come for me... someone was there."
He stood back, silent for a second. He'd never gotten to thank Maric for saving his life, not really. Now would just have to do it.
"They showed me goodness, Ulfr. They showed me kindness, and brotherhood. And I was shown it again when I came here. And it keeps repeating until I've realized that it's just as abundant. It's something you can't get away from." he stepped forward, "You've seen though my life in an instant Ulfr. Look again." he locked eyes with the man, challenging him, "Look again and tell me that you don't see something worth saving in there. That you don't see something worth living for and fighting for. And then I want you to look back on your life and tell me you can't find the very same thing."
Tears had sprung to the boy's eyes, "Ulfr... we want to live." he said, "All of our lives are hard. There's hardship and there's trails and there's problems but... the good outweighs the bad. Enough that we all want to keep living. And there's enough people out there who do that we're all willing to stop just so the others can." He closed his eyes, "I'd miss everyone a lot if I had to die... but I'd do it for them because I know there's still a life out there worth living." he looked up at Ulfr, "But I... really don't want to die. I like what I'm doing here... even if it's been hard."

"You're telling me." Elliot said. He was tired, very much so. He figured as a 'being' as him, he could stay awake for longer times, but it just worked him over, and he had nearly a week without sleeps.
Shino sighed, turning her head to cough up a storm, before she looked back, "Are you sure? We... we could really use your help after this war, Ratio. I fear we might be apart of the rebuilding."

It was cool.
That was the first thing that ran through Scott's mind when he took off his helmet, barely registering the weight resting over his legs. He let it roll off to the side, then tugged out his earpiece and let it fall.
He leaned against a tree, shaking fingers absentmindedly toying with streaks of red hair.
He was numb. He couldn't even speak, even if he wanted to. Wyatt had said something, yelled it. He'd heard it, but it hadn't registered in his mind.
Dead, then.
She's gone.
He looked down-
Then closed his eyes.
No. Not now. Not ever.
Too painful.
Then at that moment, something in him snapped, and he buried his face in her hair and screamed.

He fell six feet from Mana. His eye lids peaked open only for a few seconds before closing again.

"Okay," said Colin, then returned to chanting. How would he know when his signature was pulsing? He barely even knew what a signature was. Shaking the thoughts away, he tried to concentrate on Mana.
Then Shane fell, literally out of nowhere, not three yards away from him.
"Shane!" He called, half rising.

Joselyn was far away. She didn't know what she was far away from, but she was far away. She walked dazedly, seeing patches of Colorado float by, like discarded clothes lost to the winds. She caught one and it liquefied in her hand, slipping through her fingers to fly again. She thought she caught the echo of a laugh.

There was a small, sad smile on Ratio's face as Shino spoke. You're always trying to take the easy way out, aren't you? he reprimanded himself, Foolish little man.
"It's not a matter of what I want or not, Shino." he said quietly, looking around. He was leaning very heavily against Matti and it was obvious that even simply standing and walking was becoming rather painful for him. His legs shook a bit, "It's not just my body that is tired... or... well Seven's body for that matter." he said, "This soul... this spirit is feeling... stretched. Every moment, every second now makes me feel as if I am in a waking dream. Present, yet, some how in between worlds. In between lives. Of late, even while I was in my own body, I felt as if I was being called towards something else. Being drawn away, beckoned into the darkness whenever I closed my eyes." he looked off, "Perhaps there is something about final death. Perhaps it truly is meant to stay... final."
Averis didn't say a word. She knew what Ratio was going through, somehow. In all truth, it was amazing that after all he'd been through, that there was any part of Ratio's mind or spirit that was still intact. Either it was his magic, or something more, but somehow he'd still managed to pull through even the tortures of hell. Even if he wa only able to keep himself stable in small increments of time, it still was an amazing feat.
Ratio looked up, "Mana is there, he's that way." he indicated a spot in the distance with his hand, "He'll be waking soon I believe. We should go to him." his eyes grow halflit. He heard Scott's cries echoing over the hills and shivered a bit. "It's almost dawn..." he whispered, "We've just a short while longer to hold out."
---------------
Wyatt looked up, taken by surprise when Shane suddenly fell from the sky not even a few feet away from them. His eyes widened and he stood abruptly. Mana's wounds were mostly healed, and he wasn't so much worried about the man as he was for Shane.
The boy shook himself a bit, righting himself quickly.
"Father!" he shouted, rushing up to the man and clinging to him. He was shaking, still afraid for his life, his heart pounding.
"Ye gods, Shane, what happened to you?" Wyatt breathed. Shane just shook his head, unable to reply. He clung to his father's robes and said nothing.

Shino nodded, rather frantically. Half-teary, she fought it back just for a moment to smile.
"I-I understand." She said, pushing her hair out of her faces, "It's just... you know, you really made an impact on everyone. And I know it's selfish, but I sorta' expected you to live forever."
"Telling Wyatt off even in a hundred years." Matti said, smiling. He continued pumping strands of gold through Ratio's body. It was an effort, at that. He'd never treated this sort of thing. At most, he could maybe energize him a bit, provide warmth, maybe even just make the man feel awake, less fatigued at thats.
Elliot scratched at his face, fixing up his cap. "I'll go find Mana. Can't be that hard."
And with that, he turned and followed the direction Ratio looked and pointed, going down the hills towards the small group.
Saving time, he just warped. There was a loud snap, and a mess of darkness formed into Elliot, whom looked down on the group.
"Can I get in on this hugs?" He asked.

Ratio grinned, a wry smile on his face, "Forever is a long time, Shino." he said quietly. He looked up at the sky, his eyes seeming to unfocus a bit, "It's a very... very long time..."
Ratio's eyes focused once more as Elliot called his attention over to Elliot as he teleported to Mana, Wyatt and Shane. He followed closely, eyes training on Wyatt as the man stood. It took him a second to take in the sight of him. The first thing he'd noticed was the fact that half of his apprentice's body now appeared to be made of metal. An arm and a leg exchanged for mechanical parts. An eye replaced with a lense. Ratio had to stare for a second.
"S-Seven... is something wrong?" Wyatt asked, standing, as Elliot enveloped him in an utterly bone crushing hug.
Ratio blinked, realizing at once that he was still wearing Seven's body. He stood back, saying nothing, and simply shook his head. Wyatt nodded, turning to Elliot.
"Mana's been hurt pretty badly. We have to find some place safe to bring him." he looked around, "Are Averis and the others safe?"
Shane glanced at Colin, "What happened while I was gone? Are you alright?" he stared at him intently, "You look, rather pale"

Damien looked at Seven's body, now being referred to as Ratio. Yes, he'd heard a lot about him in the short time he'd been with them. The man seemed light on his feet, wavering. Well, it was to be expected.
He stared at him for awhile as he spoke of death. How it should be final. And then he said to make their way towards Mana. He glanced at Jagger and Lucas.
"Jagger. Take Lucas somewhere safe for now," he said.
"What?"
"You can come back later. For now just stay with him, okay?"
"Fine..." Jagger then disappeared with Lucas.
Damien approached Seven-er, Ratio.
"So you're the Ratio I've been hearing about," he said, already heading in the direction he'd pointed in. "I've heard quite a bit about you."
When they got to Wyatt, he saw Ratio's reaction to Wyatt's new... Look.
"... I found him with Vague," he said in explanation.

"You should take Mana to Matti." Elliot said, releasing the men, "You're gonna' be able to find him up on that hill, under a tent. The others are there, he should be pretty easy to see."
He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. It was now greasy, sticky and filled with blood. He'd have to get a haircut, just for efficiency.
Get all military up in this, bitch!
Shino sighed, nodding. She wondered, at times, what the idea of morality was like. She could eat, drink, do whatever, with very little repercussions.
She could outlast wars, skirmishes. She was very lucky to be how she was.
But then the hammer was dropped on her. She thought through the ideas.
She'd never see these people again. They'd all die. They'd grow old, families, kids. She'd probably be around even when Shane has his kids. Shit, she could probably be around for Elias to grow old, maybe even watch over him.
She felt herself get teary, and just nodded at the man.
"It really is, Ratio." She sighed, "I'm really going to miss you."
She placed a hand on his arm, and as he walked away, let it slip as she turned to Matti, whom, now able to turn to other things, was attempting to go through all the soldiers, checking dog-tags, pulses. Far away, there was a group of soldiers combing the field of their dead, and even further, they were body-bagging them.
The woman on the hill sat, knees into her chest, hands in a cup, her head pouring into them. She was just watching them. They were intricate little things. Especially Shane, she noted. Suffering from what seemed like anxiety and paranoia, but able to go to feats of extreme courage for those closest to him. Even facing the man responsible for this all without faltering.
She had to admire him, really.

"Mana. A word, please."

Ratio smiled a bit, almost chuckling. He'd never seen a demon act as sentimental as Shino did, but he supposed there was room for everyone. He took the demon's hand.
"Don't go on missing me quite yet." he said, "I'm not gone yet, and there's plenty more to be done here." he smirked, "If Ulfr succeeds- which he won't, mind you- then none of us will have all that much to miss now will we." he grinned, "And if worst comes to worst, at least we get to have one last hurrah before we part. Think of it like a nice sending." he chuckled, "Perhaps it'll be fun."
He turned to Damien, frowning, "Well of course you've heard of me." he said with a bit of a flourish, "After all, I am..."
"The greatest mage in the world we know, Ratio." Averis chuckled a bit, popping up behind Shino ,"Don't worry too much, we've still got a lot of time, Shino." she grinned, "After this is done with what do you say you and me go out and have a scotch or two. For old times sake." she smiled, "It'll be a blast."
Ratio frowned a little, staring at Damien now for a second and then a second more. Somehow he couldn't help feeling he had seen the man before, but he couldn't place it. It was like a lost thought from a passive dream that you could just barely remember. Ratio would admit a good deal of his brain had been quite mixed up and scrambled, both from dying three times and from having to share a body with his Second in Command. He stared at Damien for a good while before starting.
"Have... we met?"
Shane shook himself, pulling away from Wyatt and straighting up, looking Colin in the eyes. There was fear in him, that was plain to see, and simply recounting the moments that he'd shared with Ulfr was.... harrowing to say the least.
"Ulfr... wanted to talk to me." he said quietly, "I don't know what he wanted. I... I thought he was going to kill me..." he looked up, looking troubled, "And I'm... not sure why he didn't."
Wyatt stood, supporting Mana as he rose. The man needed medical attention and fast, lest they lose him for good. But just as Wyatt was leaving, a pair of footsteps and a painfully familiar voice caught his ears. He turned stiffly and stared at Scott, his signature flaring only subtly.
"Mana needs medical attention right now, Scott." he said brisquely, staring into the boy's visor. He was only a child, Wyatt had to remember, but then, Wyatt was hardly more than a child himself, "I'm sorry about... about Meg. I truly am." he closed his eyes, "I counted her a friend as well, Scott, and if there was.... if there is anything I could do... trust me when I say I'd do it in a second for her."
He looked the young man over, his heart pounding in his chest. Never had he thought upon first meeting him that they would ever be so at odds, but now a line had been crossed. They were both changed, and neither of them would ever be the same.
"You can lower your weapon, Scott." he said quietly, his signature receding, "You are in no danger here."

Mana looked towards Scott. He was in pain, and it was very much evident, he could barely reply much less comply with Scott. --------------------- Ulfr watched over the current events with a scowl. Was Scott really going to kill Mana, making his job that much easier? Was Scott that filled with despair?
...No. He knew what Scott was doing.
Ulfr had indirectly killed Meg. Scott was going to even things out by killing Mana. Revenge. It might've completed Ulfr's goal, but it would kill Mana, he wouldn't have a chance to...
Sai, Ulfr growled, If the man with the rifle attacks Mana. Kill him.

Damien couldn't help but raise a brow when the man turned to him, Averis finishing for him what he was apparently going to say for... However many times. Prideful. Damien would give him that.
And then Ratio began to stare at him, as if puzzled by something and trying to work it out.
And then he asked if they'd met.
"... I'm sure we have," Damien said. Of course, under normal circumstances, he probably wouldn't have known. But he'd been told Ratio had died before. From their conversations, Ratio had died a couple of times. Therefore, it was more easy for Damien to recognize him. Well, recognize his soul at any rate. "I'm Death, after all."
He glanced over at Scott, becoming wary almost instantly.
----
From quite a ways away, hidden out of sight, a cloaked woman watch the scene in silence. She didn't move forward to join them, nor did she move back to leave.
'Sai,' came a familiar growl in the back of her head. 'If the man with the rifle attacks Mana. Kill him.'
It was getting easier not to flinch hearing voices in her head, especially when it wasn't from distant memory. She was rather used to this one by now. After a moment, she answered, clutching a sniper that was in her hand more tightly.
'... Understood'

Shino nodded, and listened. She was sure, 100%, that she would probably never get over the fact that Ratio was going to leave them at some point, whether by death, or by some other means. That went same for the others.
In-fact, if one could believe Grave Digger, alot of the youth of Bastion are entertained on their down-time from either working fleshhouses, conscription or labour, even education, they tell stories of the group, Ratio, Averis, Sakura, Scott, Grimace, Damien - all of them- and were something of a folk lore for the society.
So, what from that she could gather, none of them would really get over it. Even those few friends they picked up along they way, they had a place.
Shino shook her head as Averis came up, knocking her out of her spaced out machinations. With a smile that was obviously forced through her sad exterior, "More of a scotch, fan."
She smiled and nodded as the girl went with Ratio, before she turned back to Matti.
Elliot chuckled, a loud, hefty chuckle, "Ratio is kind of in-love with himself."
And then he turned his head, towards a new but familiar voice. His heart sank into his stomach, but it still fluttered with excitement at the fact that, one, Scott was still alive, and two, he was with them.
"I'm sorry about her, Meg, Scott." Elliot said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Gotta' commend her, though. Never seen someone fight so hard for a cause."
Honestly, he felt he was just talking out of his ass. But, he wasn't too good with these emotional moments. He felt like making a joke about her, but Scott had a gun, and it would of been insensitive.

Sakura quickly gathered up the other kittens to take them to her room as her father and Kenichi continued to fight. I wish there was a way to change the future that Grave Digger has to go back to. She thought as she made sure they're settled in, playing with Hana.

Colin bit his lip. Shane wasn't telling him everything, but he wasn't sure he wanted to know all of it. He nodded silently, then looked at Wyatt. "Wh-what can I do to help?"
~~
Joselyn was climbing a hill. She wasn't sure how she had gotten to this hill, since she'd been walking on a flat plain just a moment ago, but it wasn't a big deal. The wind was behind her and the walking was easy. In fact, her steps felt almost lighter than they should, like she would soon start to float away. And then she did start to float away.
And then she woke up.
"Ow," she muttered in response to the pain all over her body. It seemed she'd been thrown by a blast of some sort. She didn't move for a minute, just taking stock of how much pain was where, and whether she was seriously injured.

Ardent teleported in beside Shane, holding his head. "Nnh...Shane...what's going on?"

Ratio raised an eyebrow, "In love with myself?" he snorted, "That's a gross exaggeration. I simply give myself the credit I deserve. I am a powerful mage." he shrugged, "Of course, you WERE always jealous of me." Averis just sighed. Even while he was inhabiting Seven's body, he was still hard to take seriously sometimes.
Still, both her face and Ratio's fell as soon as attention turned to Scott. Their former ally hadn't been very trustworthy of late. There was a tense silence, the air heavy enough to be cut with a knife. Wyatt glanced back at Colin, visibly shaking.
"Stay back, Colin." he said. His hands shook, but his voice was steady, and filled with warning, "Stay with Shane. Make sure Ardent's okay." he turned his focus back to Scott, "It's... alright." A shaking breath escaped his lips. Yes. Everything would be okay. Scott was their ally. They were on the same side, after all.
Shane turned to Ardent, eyes widening. He rushed to his friend, embracing him silently. He was still shaking. His encounter had left him quite shaken, and with Ardent's absence, he'd near counted the boy as dead. He held him rather tightly, shaking with a few light sobs. He was scared, and he didn't want to lose him. It felt like everything was spiraling out of control and there was nothing he could do to stop it. So he held close to Ardent, and he cried.

"Mate, if your dick was long enough," Elliot said, patting Ratio on the back, "You'd fuck yourself."
And almost straight off the bat, he laughed, like it was the funniest thing in the world, and slapped Ratio off the back, with alot more force than was intended.
He grinned like a dickhead to himself, before a casual eye roll and a sigh escaped his lips. Shane was crying.
Oh boy.
Shit, he had nothing against the kid, but you get one emotional turntable and fuckin' drop the ball. He was like this with everyone, especially Shino. Until recently, Shino was a sobbering, stuttering mess of mascara and hair.
He sighed, and looked at Shino, up on the hill, and watched as she warped away. There was an odd secondary pulse of... warp?
Shino warped, re-appearing inside the Iwato household. It had been a while, and she guessed they needed just a bit of a check up.
"Mister Iwato!" Shino yelled, and with a outreach of hands, two tendrils flung out, attempting to separate the fighting pair.

Both men lunged for a few moments as both men were pulled apart.
Kenichi had several cuts all over, a few stab wounds from where Mitsutaka kicked him, a bruise on his forehead from the scabbard and a few scratches on his face from Hana. Mitsutaka, on the other hand, had his hair was mussed, bruises and his lip was swollen and cut. Some bruises were forming on Mitsutaka's head and eye. "Ah, hello Shino." Mitsutaka greeted her. "Did you have a nice time?" "Friend of yours?" Kenichi "She's Sakura's friend."
Sakura peeked out when she heard no more fighting, Hana following close behind. "Father, is everything all right? I-Shino!" She smiled. The smile faded when she saw the state Mitsutaka was in. "I'll get some ice."

She was a bit shocked, before the tendrils dissipated into smoke and crystals that hit the ground, leaving smaller smoke trails, and then an influx of smoke as they went in on themselves.
"Just... stop, alright?" Shino said, "What are you?"
She stepped past Kenichi, towards Mitsutaka, "Are you alright?" She said, looking upon Mitsutaka. She placed two fingers on one side of his face, and a thumb under his chin, and was attempting to get a good look at him.
"Here, let me see." She said.
